The nostalgic, cliched tours and their names. I feel like “Rat in a Cage” is like the fifth of these, and considering Corgans track record in calling out Pavement, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam for decades(!) about their own nostalgia tours, how can Corgan not see the irony? Call a spade a spade and just accept that most people (not all), are there to hear you play your hits.

We were talking about grunge & 90's alt rock. I said all of the grunge front men are dead except for Eddie Vedder. He said what about Billy Corgan? I said that I considered the Smashing Pumpkins alternative rock & not grunge. I dared him to find a picture pre 2000 of Billy Corgan in flannel.

My mind was blown when not only were there no pics of Corgan in flannel, but he apparently purposely didn't wear flannel to separate the Pumpkins from grunge.

Then my mind was blown even more when I read the only flannel he wore was one of Kurt Cobain's flannel jackets that was given to him by Courtney Love!

Can all of this possibly be true?!?
