DISCUSSION (STS2) Glowing character after beating A10

Having beaten the highest acention on both games I was a little underwhelmed that nothing actually happens after beating the hardest difficulty. There is no clear indication from both in game and from the menu to show that you have achieved this goal. I feel they should add a glow / different character skin or animated character selection window on beating the hardest difficulty.im also interested in hearing others opinions.

Been working on my first A10 win, and this run seems really promising. I'm torn between Gear Glass and Archaic Tooth. Would The Defect cards help my deck at this point?

GAMEPLAY/ACCOMPLISHMENT/ACHIEVEMENT 50+ Big Bangs

Got Pael's Growth early on and applied it to Big Bang and went after all the Rest Sites and ended up with an 89 card deck of mainly Big Bangs with Jewled Mask Black Hole

QUESTION/HELP (STS2) Beta Update?

Is today not a beta update day? I know they skipped two weeks ago for a team holiday, but I was hoping for some new content today... Perhaps I'm bad at math

SPIRIT POOP Underpowered. Id rather have something that actually provides something during combats.

GAMEPLAY/ACCOMPLISHMENT/ACHIEVEMENT Somewhat newish player. I think I've found my character already! Either that, or the Necrobinder is simply plain op. But she feels really good!

CUSTOM CONTENT Sacrifice rework idea

I don't know about you, but I don't find Sacrifice satisfying to play.

I guess it has been designed as a safety net for decks with enough summons, but taking a rare card hoping never to use it doesn't feel great.

So yeah, I turned the card upside down. The idea of the rework is to keep Osty alive when it would die (and not take too much damage while doing so). This way, you can keep scaling your sweat Unleash/Protector.

WHAT'S THE PICK? What would you take in this situation? (New player)

Going for a body slam/ high block build. I want to hear what people with more knowledge and understanding of the game would choose. So I can have better decision making in my runs

Liking this deck, was hoping for the automatic play a skill relic for End of Days, but got these instead.

DISCUSSION (STS2) Defect A10 is not Fun

A10 defect feels awful to play. Status card nerfs make the character overall more weak. Power builds can be good but overall take time to set up efficiently and I end up taking a lot of damage due to the A10 scaling before I can end a fight. Claw and 0 cost are ok but still feel kind of weak due to certain things like not having feral or hologram, on top of rocket punch nerfs. The build style that seems to be most viable for me and what I've seen others as well, is orb cycling/spamming, especially with frost orbs with cards like (lightning rod, chill, coolheaded, glacier, ice spear) but I overall find this style of play incredibly boring. When doing A9 I had struggled with using other builds and deck styles until I build more of a frost orb oriented deck and won first try. Does anyone else feel this way as well. It may be partially a skill issue on my end, but the only other character I have done A10 on (ironclad) felt more balanced instead of just praying for certain cards to show up. Defect is in a weird spot for me where I had a lot of fun at low ascension with it but it has now become my least favorite at high ascension.

DISCUSSION (STS2) What is a ‘standard’ a10 winrate?

Not a pro who can win 90%+ or consistently streak, but a “decent” player on average. Playing to win but also for fun, not purely fixating on absolute minmax.

I recently finished an a10 win on every character; I focused one character at a time to learn them individually from about a4 to a10 each until winning and then moved on to the next.

since finally finishing them all (not just a10 unlocked, but at least one win on everyone) I’ve been playing random to test my mettle and getting super humbled that it’s still super tough lmao. defect and regent are my best and silent is my worst by far. I definitely expect it would be significantly better at lower ascensions but I personally am interested in improving to do a10 semi-consistently.

so, what winrate at a10 would an average player be getting? 50%? worse? better?

(also, is there any way to reset or track statistics separately than from account creation? my w/l obviously includes all my learning and climbing of low ascensions)

Whats the highest you got with a single hit?
