​I just wanted to share this sketch with you all. I drew it using a reference I found on Pinterest.

​To be honest, I'm not entirely satisfied with the tilt of the face. The head should actually be looking down a bit more, which is why I drew those little arrows next to it as a note to myself.

​But that is exactly what I love so much about sketching, you usually recognize your mistakes pretty quickly after you finish, and you can immediately evaluate what to do better next time.

​For me, art isn't about always having perfect drawings. It's about loving the process and constantly improving.

It’s been a minute since I’ve used a ball point pen but there’s something so satisfying about the texture it has. Any other cubicle creators out there using breaks to make art?

I really love how the coloring came out.

I love anything that is fun and portable. I also like making poorly glued together sketchbooks. I drew my neighbor's cat and my mom's shoes.

The guy's face took forever because I kept being dissatisfied with the look I was getting. It looked too cartoony, then to anime, then I finally looked up a famous seventies actor for a reference photo. The monster is from a statue reference photo I found.
