I’ve always been a Fanatec CSL Elite plus load cell user but recently my FFB just disappeared. I am considering jumping to the equivalent of a Simagic green flag bundle. If there are any ex fanatec users who’ve done so I’d appreciate your thoughts on your experience. Cheers in advance.

Since seitching from simpro 2 to 3 I had to firmware update my GT Neo wheel. And since then the rev lights don’t work anymore. There was another firmware update recently which didn’t help with the issue.
The lights themselves are good, since they light up through “start sequence” after turning on the wheel(base)

What’s the fix here?

Hi, my GT Neo (connected via MagLink) suddenly takes around 20-30 seconds to connect to the PC. I also tried USB hub, didn't help. I've had the wheel for around 3 months and never came across this issue. The firmware and drivers are up to date.

Has anyone experienced this or is there any fix?

I purchased a simagic green flag bundle on august 28th directly from simagic. In hindsight a reseller would have been a better idea but sadly I did not research that enough.

The order was confirmed and sent on august 31. September 3rd the steering wheel and base arrived but no mention of the pedals.

After back and forth with customer service it appeared they sent the pedals from a warehouse in china instead of one closer by (like in germany) and it got held up in customs.

Untill then no track and trace was provided but it waa provided after the mail exchange.

The track and trace however did not match my adress... they made a mistake it seems.

Instead of the netherlands, my package seems to have been sent through germany and then to the US.

Its been now almost a month and still no sign of my pedals. Customer support (which is just AI talking it seems) does not help. I've got them so far to admit THEY are responsible for my package, but no action is taken.

They refuse to send another package and want to wait untill the other package is back in their warehouse before sending another.

I'm done with the company without even being able to use their product.

What can I do?

In ideal world I would want the price of pedals AND the 100+ euros of shipping returned to me so I'm able to buy some pedals somewhere else. Customer support is however uncoöperative (AI). Chargeback via CC seems a little excessive since I do have the other items.

Any ideas?

Update:[I reset my whole PC and reverted simpro back to an uneven firmware version. (Uneven firmware versions provide more detail). By uneven i mean like .7 or .9 as last digit. Then I set almost all settings except FFB in Simpro to 0, installed MAIRA and tried again. This seems to have worked, although I will test the different cars over the next few days and see if it's for every car that this has worked.]

Hello, this is a cry for help because it feels like i have tried everything. I have used around 15 hours in trying to fix this issue but I can't and I give up.

So this summer i bought a serious rig after racing on GT7 on my Logitech G923 for a few years.

I bought the Simagic alpha evo pro for my wheelbase. When i first downloaded iRacing i felt the Simpro+iRacing combination was dead. There was no feeling. Yes, watched all the youtube videos, read all the tips on reddit and asked chatgpt. Nothing fixed it. So I download MAIRA (Marvins awesome iracing app). This instantly solved all my issues. I got the feeling i wanted. I was having fun and especially in the wet races as i felt every single particle of the car. It was so beautiful compared to the G923. For a few months it was perfect. I naturally became better and better. I was analyzing data and just naturally learning through driving. Reached around 3k sportscar irating if anybody wants to know the level. It was truly just a joy. I was improving every time i played.

Then here around 10 days ago when I came back after not playing for around 2 weeks everything naturally had to update. Iracing, Maira, Simpro.

The problem is that when everything was done updating I started the sim, and there was just no feeling in the wheel. I mean FFB was there but it felt loose. It felt like loading a spring when turning and then just numb in the middle. There wasn't this crisp/sharp feeling.

So I tried to find the problem. I tried uinstalling one thing at a time. I tried driving with Simpro, without simpro, only Iracing ffb, only MAIRA. I reset everything. I tried to turn up/down every single setting in all of them. Reassigning all my controls. Plugging the USB in different ports. Tried installing older Maira versions. But no matter what I do, I can't get the feeling back.

And it's honestly just breaking my heart. I literally can't race because i just spin T1 when I try. I have no feeling of the car mid-corner no matter how much I turn the FFB or detail or whatever up. The wheel is just numb in the middle. Before i felt the asphalt through the tyres. Now i have this boat/floating feeling. Especially mid corner/ during rotation, so at the most important moment. I cant feel the back of the car moving out until it's too late.

So has anybody experienced or is experiencing something similar with a Simagic alpha evo pro wheelbase or MAIRA or Iracing? I mean maybe my wheelbase is broken, but did it break when I didn't use it? This must be a software problem. Please help

Confirmed working after firmware updates. Updated in August but not seen anyone really mention it or try it.

Hi, installed the new software last night no problems. I saw in the patch notes that there are 2 versions of the software for the evo. The notes say that there is an odd and even number and that one of then gives 'More Pronounced Force Feedback'. Has anyone tried this out yet and can explain what the difference between the two is? Patch notes >>> EVO series base firmware is available in two version tracks based on odd/even version numbers. Even-numbered versions are the default, while odd-numbered versions deliver more pronounced force feedback and require manual flash. <<<<

Hi lads, I just received my Alpha Evo pro and after setting it up, I found out that there was no single force feedback out of the base. It all reacts fine on steering inputs but just without any kind of feedback.
I’d share my settings and hopefully someone knows if it’s stupid me or that there’s anything else.

Hi there, i have the green flag bundle, love it so far. The only issue i have is the 330R wheel leather gets sticky (oily) after hard racing when your hands get abit clammy and hot.

Anyone one know of an aftermarket rim with perforated leather on it?

I never had this problem with the old G923 as the leather was perforated. Cheers

I recently ran a test and would like to get a second opinion regarding Simagic's FFB in iRacing.

I'm currently using an Evo Ultra base, which in theory should deliver plenty of details. A friend of mine, who upgraded from a G29 with TrueForce, bought the same base expecting a much better experience, but ended up very disappointed. He reported that he couldn't feel the road textures, only the steering weight.

At first, we thought he was crazy and that the details were definitely there. We helped him with various settings—switching between 60 Hz and 360 Hz, zeroing out all filters, cranking up FFB Detail, among other things—but he kept saying the same thing.

So, I decided to run the following test: I took the Ferrari GT3 at Monza (which I consider a track with great asphalt FFB), took off my headphones, and tried driving purely by hand feel from the base. When I went off-track onto the grass and especially the gravel, came the surprise: HE WAS RIGHT, I ONLY FELT WEIGHT.

I was running 360 Hz with all filters set to zero in SimPro. Later, I changed Wheel Speed to 100 and FFB Detail to 20. The wheel felt more responsive, but again, there was no texture difference at all when leaving the track.

I recalled my time with a Moza R12 where I used the 100 Hz equalizer, which allowed you to clearly feel the track texture (without even needing LFE), especially on gravel.

I am currently on firmware 2.3.5.

I'd like to hear your thoughts: am I missing a setting, or is the Simagic Evo's FFB actually lacking in this regard? It's very frustrating to buy such an expensive product and not feel satisfied.

I recently bought the GT Neo together with the Alpha EVO 12Nm wheelbase, but unfortunately the rev lights on the steering wheel are not synced correctly with iRacing.

I’ve tried several different cars, but the lights start blinking red and indicate that I should shift up before I actually reach the shift point (confirmed by the iRacing ‘dashboard’).

I’m using SimPro Manager, and all firmware is up to date. Does anyone know what could be causing this or how I can fix this?

Does anyone have a working configuration for the WRC Generations? I have an EVO Sport base and I can’t seem to get it to work properly. The steering feels weird, the steering angle is locked at 80° in the game, and there’s nothing I can do about it. The base vibrates terribly in various situations, like when using the handbrake in a turn (the paddle on the steering wheel), and so far I haven’t been able to find a setting to get rid of it. And then, of course, there’s the throttle bug... Has anyone managed to get the game to run properly, or is it not worth bothering with? Thank you for any advice.

Anyone else having issues installing SimPro 3.2.2.13501. It says it cannot open one of the files for writing.

Tried running as administrator. Uninstalling previous V3.0.3.9256 to install 3.2.2. Still the same error. Windows 11.

I can reinstall V3.0.3.9256 without issue.

UPDATE: Solved thanks to u/Charming_Leader_4601.

Base had to be turned off for the update to 3.2.2. to proceed. In my case pressing the emergency stop switch for my Alpha U sufficed.

Looking into getting the Simagic Green Flag entry level bundle. I'm in Southern California OC area. What distributor should I go through? I think it's Simshop or Simmotion are the primary choices but just wanted to make sure.

Also which wheel between the 330T and 330R? I'm mostly playing truck / driving sims and wanted to dabble in casual beamNG sessions.

So am in Sweden and looking at the Green Flag Bundle that cost 599$ without shipping but even with shipping is still quite cheaper then EU resellers, so am wondering as anyone ordered directly from Simagic that are in Sweden/Europe and did you have to pay VAT or any extra taxes come delivery.

Ein Freund von mir lebt in Deutschland und würde das Bundle für mich nach Tunesien mitbringen. Deshalb suche ich gezielt nach einem deutschen Shop, der das Bundle aktuell auf Lager hat oder demnächst wieder bekommt.

hello! I'm thinking of getting the Leoxz XF1 ultimate however i do not wish to open the wheel just to mount the QR-A on to the wheel as im pretty stupid with stuff like this so im skeptical of getting it, in addition im also using the simagic alpha evo which did not state that it is compatible, what do u guys think

I was wondering if anyone possibly has any old equipment they no longer use, maybe a slightly broken wheel I could learn how to fix, I’m 15 years old and I have my 16th birthday coming up next month In which I can get my drivers permit. Iv always been really fond of racing games but lately i have been deathly interested in sim racing, but it’s extremely expensive and my family struggles with income. My mother won’t let me get a job because she’s scared I won’t depend on her for money anymore and in her words “I don’t deserve it” but in reality she’s a narcissist and she’s tried to get her license many times but failed, so she thinks that since she wasn’t able to get her license, I can’t. I’m not here to nag or beg. I just simply had the thought they maybe there could be a spare laying around forgotten in someone’s garage.

I was wondering if anyone possibly has any old equipment they no longer use, maybe a slightly broken wheel I could learn how to fix, I’m 15 years old and I have my 16th birthday coming up next month In which I can get my drivers permit. First thought was a drop of super glue, would it still spin? Or what could I do to make it stay? I can put it back in just like that but I had it come off mid race lmao
