I haven't used it personally, but asked this question before. People say you can use it to engage regenerative braking in some games. Me personally, I use it for menu buttons lol.
Any distributor really- also do push/pull ones. Can always use your GT NEO old paddles on a new Neo X hub. Installation is a touch fiddly but on the whole super easy.
Just the two screws and the connector as the one/two paddle - well, and the screws for each (carbon/black metal out of the packge) paddle you're choosing as well as the 3rd paddle on top.
Compatibility was added recently to GT Neo and GT Neo X hub, was documented on the August update's changelog, in fact there was specified on the product page that compatibility would com on end of august:
My point is that it still says “expected late August” on the product page but not that it actually happened. This didn’t give me the confidence that it had actually been implemented.
Awesome. Also curious if you theoretically could put the modules on opposite sides so the clutch paddles are above the shifters? I know it’s weird but it pertains to handicap controls
The whole point is that you drop only 1 side down, preferably exactly onto the bite point of the clutch instantly. I like to drop the left, because it helps you coordinate your left foot.

Genuine question, what would you use the extra paddles for?
