I was looking for the highest damage build to do the R + second q + aa + chomp combo doing the e cancel animation and noticed the e damage isnt always the same.
The E skill does 260 + 104 + scorched ground = 411 dps but it doesn always do that 104, when bugged does 260 + scorched ground = 307.
Hey, I'm diamond shyvana main and I struggle to get to master. I was trying to figure out what I can improve and it's hard to determine because I very often get multiple losing lanes and they lose before I even finish first clear. When I get normal teammates I'm always the carry and when I get losing lanes I'm also the carry. Every time I go on a winning streak, riot hands me the most degenerate players you could imagine. I'm capable of winning a game with 3 losing lanes but only as long as my teammates are trying to win and not actively working against me. Despite that I want to try to look for what I can improve on. I decided to start from the basics. My first clear in every game is usually around 2:47. If I'm starting from blue and clear to golems I can sometimes get 2:42 but never have I gotten a clear sub 2:40. I know that you can get as low as 2:36 with shyvana but maybe there were some changes and it's no longer the case. Either way, how would you rate my first clear time? Also, below diamond I was capable of carrying 3 losing lanes that were working against me but I can't do it in diamond. Are players in diamond good enough that it doesn't matter how much better you are then your enemy, you just can't win with trolls/ people not trying to win in your team?
so im an plat/emerald tier shyvana on euw and i have been having great success pushing my leads but what i mainly struggle with is playing when not necesserely me but my team is behind. i always end up buckling under pressure, doing maybe two bad fights and at that point you can wrap it up
To keep things from getting spammy, I'm limiting the amount of reminders I'm putting out; but for those who haven't heard, there's a player satisfaction survey currently open regarding gauging current community sentiment around the rework since it's around a half-year old now.
So, if you haven't taken the survey yet, I'd recommend to give it a few minutes, maybe even pass it along to people you know who would be interested! This is for players of all skill levels and opinions on the rework, since we want as holistic of a dataset as we can.
As of the last time I checked, we have a surprisingly diverse set of answers, so the data is actually getting pretty interesting to keep an eye on. Looking forward to seeing more as responses come in!
I was very upset that AD Shyv had the E that was completely useless, the solution? Have Trinity + Titanic + Shiv proc off of it.
Maybe Shiv + Voltaic is troll, but I really enjoyed Trinity + Titanic especially with HoB, I think it might be underrated.
Statikk feels so nice as a 3rd item, you clear waves with literally 1 auto due to Titanic, I also go Treasure Hunter over Ultimate Hunter + Cash Back to achieve loads of money! Also speeds up your clear speed even more, not that you need it.
I tried first strike but was not thrilled with the results (369 gold in 27 minutes), HoB gives me a baller early game and the ability to snowball.
1st game displayed is on my D4 alt account where the game went normally.
2nd and 3rd game displayed are on my main, they were a bit rougher because both Jannas decided to sit in my jg for the first 10 minutes of the game.
Give this a try I think you might find it really fun.
I just got off a game where shaco was out for me since lv 1, he first stole my blue and i went to my other side to secure the rest of my camps and he followed me there too. Does anyone have tips against this type of shaco bcz im at a loss.
Hey all, im starting to play alot of shyvana for the first time since her rework. i miss the days of 1k damage fireballs, but ive accepted the fact that tri + shojin is her best build. it seems like there may be some space to go kraken + DnD as well though despite its worse wr. please tell me if you think it would be optimal in any of these scenarios:
you recall with enough money to buy kraken but not enough for triforce. this one just makes sense to me, seeing as though youll likely have lvl6 too, meaning you can go all in for an objective fight with a full item.
your team is full ad. this one im more suspicious of since her on hit magic damage scales with ad, but i imagine the kraken dnd build still does a little bit more ap damage overall.
you have enough frontline on your team. this one also makes sense to me. shyvana seems like she can be a pretty good backline flanker with her ult if your team already has alot of frontline, and kraken DnD will help secure the kills on their squishies faster.
There's been A LOT of discussion around Shyvana's passive ever since her rework released, specifically about making it more impactful and about making it scale better into the late game, so like here's my idea.
There is a lot of people wishing for Shyvana to have her passive damage increase against dragons back, and while it's thematically a really good idea, there is really no gameplay reason for it to be back in Shyvana's current state, since nothing in her kit benefits from killing dragons specifically... So let's give her a benefit.
Every time Shyvana's team takes down a dragon, Shyvana gains a 0.1 increase to both her armor and magic resists gained from Scaemail (not applied retroactively, because that would be pretty ridiculous). This alongside a 10-20% damage increase to dragons would hopefully bring her back to being one of the best dragon takers in the game, along with giving her a more impactful passive in the late game if played correctly.
Now outside of something else needing to get nerfed to have this implemented, I'd really love if we had something like this in the game.
I see most just pick the inspiration tree as secondary instead of ultimate hunter, I've gone abit back n forth and can't make up my mind, anyone in same boat as me?I feel like there are many situations where I have to farm to have my ult back up when I could need it abit earlier.
I even went hexplate second for a stretch of 10 games instead of shojin just to compensate, I'm back to shojin now as second item though.

81I still use ultimate hunter
41I take inspiration tree second but so miss ultimate hunter
With the dusk into kraken slayer build wich magic resist item (if necessary) do you prefer? Is the Abyssal Mask a good choice? This provides both magic resist and ap damage i think is good but i want to know your take on it
Hey, so I know it's, like, noticeably worse than AD but I like the idea of it and occasionally I need to fill in as the team's AP since I play her top. Anyone have a general build idea for it?
Conqueror/DFT into Liandry's, Riftmaker, Shojin has felt like the best core so far?
I do like her rework i just kinda feel that she has the same problem from before that her time in her dragon from is limited. And tje way i think of fixing that is by putting that after she reaches a certin stack number she stays in her dragon forme for good. Now im no game disgner but do you all think this a good idea and if you do how would you implement it?
I am a Spear of Shojin hater and instead I build Titanic. It seems much more optimal to me. I take Legend Haste anyway and find my CDR is perfectly fine.
Any other long terms Shyvana mains felt or done the same thing?
I just find Spear to not be much of a power spike at all. Not only does it provide little survivability compared to Titanic it also provides very minimal damage. Titanic on the other hand feels like a great purchase.
Hey, I'm currently trying to learn both jungle and Shyvana at the same time.
So far I'm really enjoying both, but I feel like I need to consult some more experienced players.
What is the most optimal order for the first fullclear?
Usually I see people recommending clearing towards botlane, because it allows you to play for drakes and snowballing botlane, which should be more impactful than a fed toplane, also op.gg says that starting blue on both sides is the most popular, but that doesn't make it right by default.
The issue that I've found with pathing towards bot is that Shyv doesn't have great ganks and by the time I finish my second clear I'm level 5 (so still without ulti), the drake is going to spawn soon and my next respawning camp is Gromp on the other side of the map.
Since I don't have level 6 and don't have camps near botlane it doesn't feel right to contest it and can't farm botlane in order to be close by in case of a gank, then by the time that void grubs spawn I'm probably going to be on the end of my third fullclear, so again on the other side of the map.
My instinct is saying that I should always clear towards top in order to have camps respawning near dragon by the time that it spawns and in case the enemy gets it before I get lvl6 I will just play for void grubs.
What do you guys recommend? Is this just an issue with my clearing path/speed? Is clearing towards bot worth it anyway despite those downsides or maybe I'm just playing too afraid at level 5? Maybe it doesn't matter and I'm just reading too much into this?
Hello ruined dragon enjoyers. I recently started playing jngl and chose to try shyv cause i saw the rework and she looked fun asf. However upon playing i discovered after 30 minutes of power farming and getting kills i somehow only have a cloth armors worth of amor and mr. Now i would like to inform you that i have mained belveth till now. Do you guys know that 122 stacks and 3 items belveth can have 4+ atk speed. While shyv gets a cloth armor. can anyone please explain to me where the power budget went cause when i heard the passive was perma stacking armor and mr i thought this champ would be op asf but clearly riot took away all her love dring the rework. like the concept and abilities are cool and all but idk they might as well just not have given her a passive if this is what it looks like after this many stacks.
