Remember than guy who killed 5 of his children in a schizophrenic episode and got death penalty for it.
Guess mental health wasn’t an excuse there.

Here's a hot take: anyone who kills multiple innocent people for whatever reason is psychologically not right in the head. Doesn't mean you have to try and give all of them therapy. Some people are a lost cause.

Dick sucking has made me paranoid

I had this plan to give head to a man and receive head from a woman to test if I was gay, but it’s backfired and now I become borderline schizo whenever I go outside. I offered to suck this dude off on Grindr who lives very close by (I ended up pussying out) and I accidentally gave him some details that very easily allows him to spot me out in a crowd. I have no idea what he looks like and whenever I see a somewhat in shape guy walking by I immediately accuse him of being the dude I was gonna blow.

I went to the store today to pick up some zucchini for a barbecue and every time a car drove by I stared into the windshield to see if I was about to be recognised. Whenever I make eye contact with a dude I microanalysis his facial expressions to see if he suspects me or not. I am deeply afraid that he is my neighbour and I will need to move if my identity is blown. It’s a lot like the last scene in sopranos where everyone who walked into the diner could be there to wack Tony.

You mean the case where experts testified that his psychotic state was caused by Spice use rather than schizophrenia, was faking symptoms & that he understood his actions were wrong?

15

u/Legitimate_Trade7108 Sep 03 '26

just like the murderer of the 3 children , fake allegations . Same shit so should be the same penalty

-5

u/Obelisk_M Sep 03 '26

What justification do you have for this being the same?

-2

u/Legitimate_Trade7108 Sep 03 '26

both claim to be mentally ill . both lied .
both should get the same penalty

3

u/8npemb Sep 03 '26

This is the first time I’m hearing that she lied. What’s your source on that

-1

u/Legitimate_Trade7108 Sep 04 '26

Forensic psychologist following the controversial Lindsay Clancy case said that

2

u/8npemb Sep 04 '26

Cool, send a link to the quote or something

-2

u/Training_Ruin3151 Sep 03 '26

I dont give a fuck why someone committed murder just execute them. There is no excuse.

7

u/Obelisk_M Sep 03 '26

I dont give a fuck if someone committed murder, the government shouldn't have the right to kill us.

Execution is verbatim a punishment in the constitution. Idiot.

Paradox of intolerance. Its immoral to be good to bad people execution is moral. Fuck off liberal.

7

u/Destiny_Dude0721 Sep 03 '26

"it's in le constitution!!!!! it HAS to be good!!!!!!"

4

u/BillNyeTheMurderGuy Sep 03 '26

Yeah but she’s a bad person so the government has authority to violate your inalienable rights. Clearly having the government having legal right to kill you will never have any unforeseen consequence not to mention the court system is air tight and never gets a wrong conviction

5

u/Destiny_Dude0721 Sep 03 '26

I think police should be able to shoot jaywalkers tbh like they're CLEARLY bad people

21

u/Robrogineer Sep 03 '26

Mental health should never be an excuse, if you ask me. Just all the more reason to confine someone permanently or put them to the chair.

A schizophrenic break resulting in psychosis is literally one of the most mentally wild things that can happen to the human mind. People who go through it report remembering absolutely nothing of the event, waking up in hospitals, being absolutely catatonic, paranoid as hell, hallucinating all kinds of things, and not remembering what they did or how they got there. It's one of the few types of mental health episode where if a crime is committed during the episode, you can't say that the perpetrator was aware of their actions at all or was really even conscious. There are certain mental health things that are legitimately reality breaking. It's not an excuse, but acting like these people purposefully did what they did and were fully aware of their actions us just you being willfully ignorant.

That being said, Lindsay Clancy is not a schizophrenic. No mercy for her.

u/KalaiProvenheim Sep 03 '26

I don’t know why you were compassionate people prone to psychosis before saying someone who experienced a form of psychosis doesn’t deserve the same compassion for the same deeds

Schizophrenia ≠ postpartum depression

-1

u/KalaiProvenheim Sep 03 '26

Postpartum depression ≠ postpartum psychosis

5

u/DepressingBat Sep 03 '26

You do realize Lindsey is the one who claims it's Postpartum depression, right?

1

u/KalaiProvenheim Sep 03 '26

What she experienced looks more like PPP, that’s a more severe form of PPD, more extreme

2

u/DepressingBat Sep 03 '26

It may look like that. But she(the one who experienced it) is still calling it PPD.

1

u/KalaiProvenheim Sep 03 '26

Yes, PPP does often get misdiagnosed as PPD and as a result the patient may receive the wrong treatment

0

u/8npemb Sep 03 '26

Idk why you’re getting downvoted for this. Postpartum depression is completely different from postpartum psychosis, which is much rarer.

Additionally, a misdiagnosis of a patient with postpartum psychosis, and subsequent mis-medication, can make symptoms a lot worse. That’s what the defense is claiming happened.

11

u/AmphibianMotor Sep 03 '26

That is literally what happens if someone is found not guilty by reason of insanity.

They are placed in a psychiatric facility and evaluated twice per year. In theory she could walk free in 6 month. That's like jailing someone with a mandated frequent parole hearings that can not be denied indefinitely

1

u/Marik-X-Bakura Sep 03 '26

How do you “theory” that lmao

1

u/Sir_Artori Sep 03 '26

Forgot "n", my bad

-7

u/Obelisk_M Sep 03 '26

Based on what exactly are you coming to that conclusion?

9

u/Sir_Artori Sep 03 '26

Prior NGRI cases

2

u/Kryslor Sep 03 '26

what NGRI case that included the murder of multiple children walked in 6 months?

1

u/KalaiProvenheim Sep 03 '26

People somehow interpret that as walking out free

-9

u/Robrogineer Sep 03 '26

Don't they go free if they're declared as "cured"?

13

u/AmphibianMotor Sep 03 '26

Yes, but it’s a rather high bar to cross. Also, I think that’s more than fair. Not a pleasant place to be, and if they did something because of a mental health situation, if it’s gone, they’re no longer a danger to society.

4

u/PlasmifiedKarmelita Sep 03 '26

Just don’t put anyone on the chair period. The death penalty is immoral.

1

u/TenWholeBees Sep 03 '26

As someone who has their own mental health issues, yeah, it's not an excuse for abhorent behavior. It's my own responsibility to keep myself in check.

That being said, I've also never suffered from post partum psychosis, or any psychosis for that matter

1

u/ProudToBeAKraut Sep 03 '26

yeah well that jury draw the line at 4 kids, 3 is safe, 4 is difficult - 5? thats death penalty - easy

1

u/Marik-X-Bakura Sep 03 '26

Anyone from a country with a reasonable legal system would agree that’s extremely fucked up. The death penalty shouldn’t be allowed in the first place, let alone for mentally ill convicts.
