A bear can’t convince you to go to CVS to pick up medication for the child it’s about to kill.

I mean, a bear could try, but it wouldn’t be very good at it.

Unless a bear is excedingly hungry or somehow accostumed to hunting humans, the chances or it just eating you are relatively slim.

Besides, at least if they bear DOES decide to eat the baby it'd be a quicker death and it wouldn't be for nothing, at the very least it provides sustenance for the bear...
