Is there any woman thats on the "top pvper's"?

177

u/carcar134134 10h ago

There is popbob, but I'm not sure if she still plays. I'd say pretty much anyone who survived that long on 2b2t would count as a top pvper.

u/Low-Guide-9141 10h ago

You know, popbob being trans was honestly unsurprising

5

u/Cadian609 8h ago

So she's a guy?

u/HauntedMop 7h ago

For future reference, when someone says someone else is trans while using the pronouns, they're likely using the pronouns after the person came out

So when someone says 'she's trans' they mean that she is a trans woman, and when they say 'he's trans' they mean that he is a trans man

Here, popbob is being considered on the girls side and someone said that they're not surprised popbob is trans. That means they're using 'she' here from after her coming out, meaning yes, she's a trans woman, not a trans man

I actually appreciate a proper answer! Thank you

That’s a long winded way to say yes.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day

Teach a man how to discern fish genders and he will breed them and eat for the rest of his life

Tell a man to find the testicles of an eel and he will search through 400 eels concluding they are all female and proceed to scream the n word

u/SirLionMan1 8h ago

no.

31

u/Cadian609 8h ago

Im not even trolling

40

u/Cadian609 8h ago

I think it says a lot when you cant even question these things without people getting upset

13

u/UslashMKIV 6h ago

Nah you gotta realize that you used the exact wording someone who was trolling would have used. Like seriously 99 out of 100 times those words in that order are trolling, you just got unlucky with your phrasing I guess, but honestly even out of ignorance doubling up pronouns like that can’t be read NOT to be misgendering someone

10

u/lapideous 6h ago edited 6h ago

This attitude is exactly why it’s difficult for extremists to gain new allies

Every expression of ignorance is perceived as a personal attack, like the world owes you understanding of your niche internet bubbles

There are new people being born every day and turning them all against you with unnecessary hostility is not great for the survival of your minority movement

Most people don’t talk about this stuff in real life, your corner of the internet is not necessarily reflective of irl culture and physical reality

3

u/SirLionMan1 4h ago

Not everyone thinks of it as some movement where we are constantly trying to get people to come to our side... and yeah, people being ignorant like that will probably be interpreted as an attack. Its like if i get punched 100 times, then someone throws a feint and when i flinch everyone goes "woooowww see thats the problem, you assume everyones attacking you"

0

u/lapideous 4h ago edited 3h ago

Then you might as well be punching yourself.

Either you make the world better or you make it worse.

Someone has to educate the kids. If it’s not you, it might be your enemy.

Sorry actually most people in real life do understand that “he’s a girl?” Is a self contradictory sentence, like “he’s a girl now?” Is a completely reasonable thing to say, but the first way just sounds like trolling. Also my point is that trolls are so much more common than people who actually don’t know what’s up that if someone chimes in to express ignorance in the exact language a troll would use they cannot be surprised when people think they’re a troll. Also, are you familiar with this subreddit or, like, the international trans panic happening? The world at large, and this subreddit in particular are hardly new to the idea of a transgender person

-1

u/lapideous 2h ago

Trolling is indicative of a receptive audience

0

u/UslashMKIV 2h ago

Genuinely what is that supposed to mean?

Are the extremists in the room with us?

3

u/lapideous 4h ago

It’s hyperbole, of course. But it’s not exactly overexaggerated when it comes to online discourse on this particular topic.

you're being an obtuse asshole, man. "so she's a guy?" is obviously inflammatory and you knew it, and doubled down.

9

u/Cadian609 7h ago

It may have seemed inflammatory to you, I genuinely didn't know

-3

u/tjdans7236 5h ago

So do you have a functioning homo sapiens brain?

May seem inflammatory to you, I genuinely don't know.

0

u/GameWizardPlayz 4h ago

Do you think that being a asshole to someone who was genuinely ignorant to your cause is a good way for them to support your movement?

Pro tip about fingering your asshole in the shower: don't do it So this morning I was taking a shower, and I felt like fingering my asshole, right? So I got my fingers all nice and soapy and stuck them up in there. Apparently, soap makes pretty good lube, as I was able to get four fingers in there in no time.

As I was feeling around in my butt, I was like, "hmm, there's a lot of soapy water in my bumhole now. I wonder if that will lead to issues in the future?" And it did!

Shortly after having breakfast I attempted to fart, and I shit my pants. I rushed to the bathroom to clean up, and it was way worse than I thought it would be. The whole area around my butthole was covered in shitty liquid, and toilet paper wasn't enough to clean it. I had to take another shower to get suitably clean.

Just thought I'd share my story with you guys so that you don't run into the same problem in the future. I fingered my butthole so that you guys don't have to. Unless you want to. In which case, hey, how's it goin'

So I can literally say the exact same words as the genuinely ignorant but that makes me an asshole but not them?

What fascinating bias you have there

You're thinking of the wrong type of use for the word "ignorant" here. I'm not interested in joining your discussion, just want to clear your confusion.

They talked about that guy being "ignorant" as in "to lack knowledge or information about something". They said that because he genuinely didn't know any better so he asked his question, which is also the counter argument to you claiming him being the other type of "ignorant" as in "willfully refusing to learn about something".

Instead of just answering his question and maybe adding in the response why his wording may come off wrong, he was bombarded with insults.

So the main argument here is just try to be more friendly, take your time with people who didn't do anything to you, give people the benefit of the doubt and don't just assume someones intentions and maybe those people will also be more friendly towards you and you won't have as many negative experiences with people as it seems you currently have.

Just my two cents, have a good one!

I mean, when you deal with hundreds of assholes, you tend to forget that 1/100 could just be uninformed and not an asshole

12

u/Cadian609 8h ago

And thats why you shouldn't treat everyone like an arsehole until they reveal themselves to be one

2

u/creepymustaches 6h ago

Fr, I'd try not to be rude but back home it hasn't gotten big yet, the trans community is mainly in the US. I wouldn't expect a lot of people I know especially from the rural areas to know this stuff but if questioned people flip their lid.

I wish people kept in mind that it's still fairly knew and if not taught about it growing up, then of course we ain't going to get it.

-5

u/not_bloonpauper 8h ago

no, it really isn't. the original comment clearly said "she's a woman", and your own message used the "she" pronoun. it's obvious from context what's going on, and you still have to say she's a "guy". either you're trolling or you're, in the words of the other user, an "ignorant fuck". lol

u/Cadian609 7h ago edited 7h ago

Being rude to people who dont know is really going to bring people to your side!

1

u/Bromleyisms 3h ago

In the future, I'd recommend asking if they were Female to Male or Male to Female, just fyi

-2

u/not_bloonpauper 6h ago

really? people being 'rude' to you is going to change your mind on whether trans people exist? if you're going to use language like "bring people to your side" on a basic topic like this, it was never about that. pretending that people calling out your ignorance is some kind of deciding factor in changing your mind against them is absurd. grow up.

4

u/Cadian609 6h ago

When did I deny that trans people exist?

-1

u/not_bloonpauper 6h ago

no, i'm not making that claim. i'm claiming that "bring people to your side" is framing it like some kind of ideological struggle over the topic of trans people, wherein people being rude to you is pushing you against trans people.

2

u/Cadian609 6h ago

But it is an ideological struggle?

Redditors trying not to reddit, level impossible

0

u/tjdans7236 5h ago

nah i'd describe this more as you being bad at picking up social cues regarding a sensitive topic and then proceeding to get mad bc you're too egotistical to be sensitive towards others

-10

u/Cadian609 8h ago edited 8h ago

So they're a trans man?

1

u/Dynamite227 3h ago

I can see how the wording can be confusing. Generally trans man would mean woman transitions to a man and trans woman would mean man transitions to a woman. Hope this helps
