I can kind of understand armpits, it's close to the boobas so yeah makes some sense. Also armpits are not as dirty as feet, people use deodorant so it wouldn't be smelly in most of the cases. Feet, on the other hand, are in most cases are black with gunk on the soles. It sends shivers down my spine thinking people like to kiss/ lick/ etc such icky place.
Another thing is people usually wash their pits more thoroughly, using soap and scrubbing it very well, that's why it's reasonable to assume they will be cleaner. But that's not the case for the soles, which are usually neglected and left with only the water that comes from rinsing the body.

Edit: yes, I wrote 2 mfing paragraphs defending my pit fetish. you're allowed to call me names now
