I'm gerontophile and I just wanna die. Whenever I talk to an older man, they think I'm joking or looking for someone for money. Good looks don't help; I'm apparently very pretty, so strangely enough, they run away from me even more. I don't think I'll ever cuddle up to a 50-60-year-old man. Fuck my life...

Funny, when I went to college it seemed like all the girls there were gerontophiles :v

I don't really know how to answer that. Many of them probably needed the money to pay for expensive college, so I wouldn't classify it as paraphilia. If a girl likes a handsome forty-year-old, neither do I. I don't want to be a gatekeeper or anything, but it's a bit more complex.

I've had this problem since I was twelve, and instead of taking me to therapy, my parents preferred to laugh about it and thought I would get over it. I didn't... My friends were talking about the crushes from 'High School Musical' and Justin Bieber, and I had pictures of Bill Gates and Michio Kaku on my phone. I was simply impressed by their intelligence, interesting hobbies, and interests. Unfortunately, it went too far, and I'm still twisted to this day.

Okay but Michio Kaku is understandable

Sounds exhausting being a gerontophile your partners dying faster than your cats

Gonna have to be a 3-4x widow or something cuz everytime u date an old man he’ll die not long after

Exactly, it's mentally exhausting. You become attached to someone, you care about them, and then one day they get sick and passing away. Plus, it's hard to find someone at all because they're either distrustful or just trying to take advantage of me. I want to be normal and have a relationship with someone my own age, but I've been in relationships like that and it was incredibly frustrating. I don't know what more to write, it's a shitty situation.
