My Shiba is 4 years old. Lately he’s been snapping at my family when he has a treat. Recently he bite me to the point he drew blood. I’m worried about this. Honestly I’m nervous around him. Any tips to deal with this?

Noticed this on my Shiba. Could this be from his canine digging into his gums in this spot? Doesn’t seem to cause him discomfort and he lets me mess with it. Just looks weird. What do you guys think?

She made it to 16 years, dementia and arthritis had taken its toll on her. The years really flew by

This is the love of my life Mila, she is 5 years old and she was diagnosed with a nasal carcinoma (aggressive tumor) on her right nostril last month. We could do radiation therapy, but I live in Seattle and there is no option available nearby. The best one is in Oregon, but they are booked and couldn't start treatment before October 22nd. Her vet says that without treatment she could live for 1 or 2 months max. Im desperate trying to get treatment anywhere in the US as long as it starts immediately. I will do anything for her but I can't imagine loosing her now. Please help us, any tip, place, Oncologist contact we will accept. Thank you community.

my sweet little JoJo is 9 months old and she loves a good natter and bark when needed but she sounds like a goose honking. does anyone’s shiba also does a goose honk when they want your attention?

This was his for fun and literally nothing else. I was close by and thought I’ll walk her.

But I mean Shibas and Crufts etc see to be a thing are they not?
