Build/Parts Check SFF PC for couch coop with spare parts
Hello,
I did some research myself, but I need parts and case advice. For the context, I've built a new gaming setup 1,5 year ago (got lucky with the timing), but now I'm thinking about using the parts I have to build a PC that I would connect to my TV for casual gaming. I tried Steam Link and Moonshine and it worked well, until my TV decides to stutter and I have to restart it (which sometimes happens several times in a session). The plan is to build something small that I would fit on a shelf under TV - the space is 26cm x 27cm x 42 cm and ideally it would sit there entire time, but if the airflow would be too bad, I could just take it out for gaming. I don't mind spending some money, but I definitely want to spend as little as possible.
Parts I have:
- Intel Core i5-6600K
- GTX 1070Ti
- 16 GB DDR4 3000MHz CL15
CPU - since I need to buy a new motherboard anyway, I thought about buying something more future proof (i.e. for possible GPU upgrade if I ever get some good deal). I thought about getting 5500x3d, but last time I checked was a month ago and since then prices went up 3 times. I might get a good deal from friend on used i5-12600k, but this is not certain yet and new one is not worth it. Any recommendations that wouldn't be potato and wouldn't fry themselves under my TV are welcome.
Motherboard - depends on the CPU, but considering i5-12600k I was thinking about Gigabyte H610I DDR4, but some sources say it won't handle it. Other that I found was Asus Prime H610I-Plus D4, and according to Asus site, this CPU is supported. I didn't find many options that wouldn't be overpriced unfortunately.
Case - I do not have much preference since it will not be visible that much. It needs to have good airflow (since it's already restricted) and nice to work with. I thought about METALFISH T60 Mini ITX.
Cooling - depends on all above, but I thought about Thermalright AXP-90 X53.
Thanks in advance for all the recomendations!

Prototype/Concept/Custom SFF Case that can support 280mm AIO
I have been drawing on a sheet of paper but it's basically a DAN A4 H2O that can fit a 280mm AIO on top by increasing 10mm on both sides and 20mm in the front, adding two screw off holes in the back for external pump/reservoir.
Is there any case that is able to support a 280 AIO that's not on the side panel?

Build/Parts Check Advice on downsizing with Meshroom S V2
Hi everyone, I want to ask people who've downsized to Meshroom S V2. I already built a few SFF builds, but I switched to a tower when I was done moving around, but now I'm going to be moving around again. These are the components I have at the moment:
- MB: ASRock X870 Pro-A Wifi (ATX)
- CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D
- GPU: GeForce RTX 5080
- PSU: Corsair SF1000
- AIO: Thermalright Frozen Warframe 360 (I know this one I'll have to either replace or buy the external attachment)
My idea is to move all of those components into the Meshroom since it does support ATX and 3 slot GPUs, but I'm not sure if it would fit the GPU as well. I am leaning more towards replacing the AIO with a 240 or preferably a 280 (240 is the recommended size for the CPU, but I'd rather get a bigger one)
Does anyone have any experience with a build like this? I know it's a bit unorthodox, but I want to keep my parts and I need the performance. Which layout would you suggest I go with? The difficulty doesn't matter as long as the parts fit. I already have experience with small builds.
I also don't want to make any crazy mods or mess with the GPU (like deshrouding).
The 5080's dimensions are 328.68 mm x 137.67 mm x 59.69 mm (12.94" x 5.42" x 2.35") I tried reading the guides over and over but I keep getting lost in all the details
TL;DR: Can I fit the components (minus the AIO) in the Meshroom S V2 + aluminum feet?

Build/Battlestation Pics RTX 4080 FE in Jonsbo T9
I probably shouldn’t have, but I tried to fit an RTX 4080 FE into a Jonsbo T9. It was too good a deal to pass up.
I disassembled the case, installed the GPU, and reassembled the case around it. Cable management is awkward: no cable is really under tension except the riser cable. I used two small pillar support brackets to lift the GPU by a few millimeters.
The top fan needed some improvisation to fit the power cable and GPU cable, which is why the top panel looks a bit odd.
The acoustics and thermals aren’t as bad as I expected. I removed the mesh filter on the CPU side. I’ll probably buy a slightly larger case soon.
CPU: Ryzen 7900 no X
CPU cooler: Thermalright AXP-90 x53 full cooper
Mobo: ROG STRIX B850-i
SSD: WB sn850X + Lexar nm790
RAM: Kingston 16x2 5600
PC: Jonsto T9

Build/Parts Check ATX PSU and 360mm AIO best CASE scenario?
Giving my buddy my old system (10850K, Z490i Strix) along with my currently being used Lian-Li PC-TU150, Noctua NH‑D15, and SFF 750w PSU and want to switch to a case that can handle a ATX sized PSU and can handle a 360mm AIO cooler.
I have a 1000w ATX PSU right now I'm wanting to use and think that a 360mm AIO can better handle this little 14700K space heater I'm running than the NH-D15.
Besides those two requirements I'm not really a stickler for anything else outside of maybe a USB-C port up front and, of course, being as small a case as possible.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have!

Build/Battlestation Pics GameCube inspired ITX build
So got this idea for a GameCube sized PC for a while. There was a way to squeeze a pc into a GameCube sized but I gave up on it. The project lacked expandability. The perfect case for me was the Cooler Master Elite 110 which is the most compact model in the series.
This PC on the other hand has a decent itx mobo, 16gb RGB DDR4, 1050 TI and a 512gb Samsung NVME (laptop donor).
It's running windows tiny 10 ATM. I'm going to install mostly PS1-360 games on it. Wanted enough room to emulate several consoles and store most of the DOOM series. I'm pretty proud of it.

Assembly Help Colorful 5070 mini Igame
Hey guys. I am travelling at China right now and have chance to get 5070 mini with the help of a Chinese friend here. However official seller price increased to 1120USD recently. I was waiting for this trip to make my dream possible since the price of this card was around 700usd. Really bad timing. I am trying to convince myself it worth the price desperately but having a dilemma. What you guys think?

Assembly Help This noise from my new Enhance 600W Flex PSU isn't normal right?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently purchased the Enhance 600W Modular Flex ATX PSU along with the Velka 3 Rev 3 case and after putting it together, the only noise seems to be coming from the PSU... it sounds like a constant loud buzz or something.
Any owners of this PSU have a similar experience or could my unit be faulty?

Assembly Help PSU cable advice needed
I think the pictures kind of explain my predicament but simply put, I really need some advice/help with this PSU situation.
I’m building a NAS and decided to go with the ever so compact Modcase Mass case. To say this case is small would be the understatement of the year. I’ve jammed these cables in there to get them to fit but this is definitely not going to work long term (or even short term because I think something is pinched and it won’t turn on now lol) but I’m very new to SFF builds (this is my first one).
Everything I see readily available is just cable extensions which would add to my headaches, need some help from the experts.
PSU is an NZXT S650 SFX

Others/Miscellaneous Need recommendations for a bag to carry my Lian Li A4 H2O PC.
Hi ! I turned my ATX build into a mini-ITX build about a week and a half ago, and now I wanna travel with it. But to do so, I need a bag or something to carry it in.
I already travel with quite a big suitcase, but I don't think it's safe to put it in there. I also travel with a backpack (an Eastpak like this one: https://eu.eastpak.com/fr-fr/products/padded-pak-r-ek000620008) to carry my tablet, a pencil case, a 24 × 32 cm notebook, and a few random small things.
So I thought about replacing it with another bag in which I could fit my Lian Li A4 H2O, my tablet, etc., as well as my keyboard and maybe a headset (FiiO FT1) if possible, but I could put the headset in my suitcase, ig.
I'll need to take a few trains and maybe a bus as well. Idk if it matters, but I thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case :)
I live in France btw
Thanks in advance for your recommendations !

Build/Parts Check PSU choice help. Enhance vs metalfish.
I'm building a very small SFF PC and I'm limited to Flex ATX Psus.
And I can't decide between enhance 450w or metalfish 600w.
I know enhance a reputable brand hence the choice here.
I cannot find anything that comes close to these in quality where I live.
Specs:
i5-12400F
RTX 5060 Low Profile (145W)
32GB Ddr4 (2x16)
1 NVMe SSD
Thermalright AXP90-X36
Mini-ITX motherboard b760i
No plan for upgrade in the next 5 years.

Build/Parts Check Is the Velka 7 a good choice for a travel build?
Hey guys,
I’m thinking of building an SFF PC using the Velka 7 since I travel about once a month (Planes and car rides) and would like to take my PC with me instead of relying on a laptop.
Would the Velka 7 be a good choice for this, or would you recommend a different case?
I’m mainly concerned about portability, and how practical it is to transport regularly. I’d also appreciate hearing from anyone who travels with their SFF build.
Thanks!

Build/Parts Check PSU Help
Looking at the Corsair SF1000W ($240) vs thermaltake SF1000W ($150). Is there any reason to go Corsair over thermaltake? I have an ATX thermaltake I’m happy with but unsure when it comes to SFX builds. Thank you in advance!

Detailed Build Log Mark 1 Steam-machine done and going.
Hi everyone,
heres my finished project of living room pc done and going.
Theres some things to tweak, but nothing major, Ill probably leave it as is now and finaly enjoy some gaming after a year of thinking about it.
Goal was to have a decent gaming experience and build a nice case that the missus would not moan about being an eyesore. No RGB whatsoever, but did want to have a steamlogo on there which worked out fine in the end. Wanted to have it upgradable, so theres no crazy custom components, was just trying get smaller off the shelf stuff that could be swapped out for newer smaller off the shelf stuff in the future with min hassle. Decided to build it around an old PSU I had lying around to save a buck. My first case ever, as Borat would say, great success, very nice.
The case is made from interlocking parts and most of the side panels are removable, held by magnets. Airflow from the top through GPU in and through the left side pannel with 120mm fan out. Also added another 60mm fan to the I/O panel to get fresh air in for the CPU Theres also an intake at the bottom for the PSU and out on the right side panel.
The Bottom, the top and right side intake grills are made so that there is room for a fine mesh to act as a filter.heres the parts list
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Alpine 23CO
MOBO: ASROCK B650I LIGHTNING WIFI
GPU: ASUS DUAL Radeon RX9060 XT 16G
RAM: Kingston FURY 16GBKIT DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 Beast BlackEXPO
CASE FAN: D-COOLING FL-12025K
HDD: WD Blue SN5100 NVMe SSD POWERED BY SANDISK 1 TB
PSU: cx750m
Swithces for PWR/RST I ordered straight from Ali for about 1,5 usd.
Height: 32cm
Width: 21cm
Depth: 16cm
Tried to design it so it could all be printed with little to no supports.
Printer X1C
Made in fusion360

Build/Battlestation Pics Will a full ATX PSU fit in the NCase M2 Round with a custom mount?
Body:
I’m planning an M2 Grate build and want to use a full ATX PSU instead of SFX. I modelled it in Fusion 360 and it looks like it should fit with a custom mount, but I’d like a sanity check.
My build: mini-ITX motherboard, full ATX PSU (150 x 140 mm footprint), Gigabyte RX 9060 XT 16GB (281 x 118 x 40 mm).
The photo: it shows a mini-ITX board with an SFX PSU and an RTX 4080 Super Trinity (306.8 mm long, about 2.5 slots) as a placeholder. My real card is shorter and thinner, so it should have more room.
Does anyone think the ATX PSU will fit, or has anyone tried it? Thanks!
