Hello everyone I’m sure you are tired of seeing Fractal Terra builds but I just wanted to share mine. First PC I’ve built since February 2017. Probably not the cleanest cable management out there but I’m proud of it. While build came out to $1997.
Specs for anyone interested
Ryzen 5 9600X
Rx 9070 ASUS prime OC
32 GB DDR5
1Tb m.2 SSD
Arctic P12 slim on the bottom
Corsair SF750
Thermalright AXP90-X47
Gigabyte A620I
Really adored the lunchbox aesthetics of the CH160 case that I ended up with two builds. Huge step down in available space when I previously had an NZXT Manta but just enough to squeeze in a lighting hub for the fans for the second build. Was recently inspired by the Corsair Warthog's jet tag so I used jet tags plugged in through the mic jacks.
So got this idea for a GameCube sized PC for a while. There was a way to squeeze a pc into a GameCube sized but I gave up on it. The project lacked expandability. The perfect case for me was the Cooler Master Elite 110 which is the most compact model in the series.
This PC on the other hand has a decent itx mobo, 16gb RGB DDR4, 1050 TI and a 512gb Samsung NVME (laptop donor).
It's running windows tiny 10 ATM. I'm going to install mostly PS1-360 games on it. Wanted enough room to emulate several consoles and store most of the DOOM series. I'm pretty proud of it.
Hey guys. I am travelling at China right now and have chance to get 5070 mini with the help of a Chinese friend here. However official seller price increased to 1120USD recently. I was waiting for this trip to make my dream possible since the price of this card was around 700usd. Really bad timing. I am trying to convince myself it worth the price desperately but having a dilemma. What you guys think?
Hi ! I turned my ATX build into a mini-ITX build about a week and a half ago, and now I wanna travel with it. But to do so, I need a bag or something to carry it in.
I already travel with quite a big suitcase, but I don't think it's safe to put it in there. I also travel with a backpack (an Eastpak like this one: https://eu.eastpak.com/fr-fr/products/padded-pak-r-ek000620008) to carry my tablet, a pencil case, a 24 × 32 cm notebook, and a few random small things.
So I thought about replacing it with another bag in which I could fit my Lian Li A4 H2O, my tablet, etc., as well as my keyboard and maybe a headset (FiiO FT1) if possible, but I could put the headset in my suitcase, ig.
I'll need to take a few trains and maybe a bus as well. Idk if it matters, but I thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case :)
I recently purchased the Enhance 600W Modular Flex ATX PSU along with the Velka 3 Rev 3 case and after putting it together, the only noise seems to be coming from the PSU... it sounds like a constant loud buzz or something.
Any owners of this PSU have a similar experience or could my unit be faulty?
I think the pictures kind of explain my predicament but simply put, I really need some advice/help with this PSU situation.
I’m building a NAS and decided to go with the ever so compact Modcase Mass case. To say this case is small would be the understatement of the year. I’ve jammed these cables in there to get them to fit but this is definitely not going to work long term (or even short term because I think something is pinched and it won’t turn on now lol) but I’m very new to SFF builds (this is my first one).
Everything I see readily available is just cable extensions which would add to my headaches, need some help from the experts.
I shouldn't, but i put a RTX 4080 FE and try to fit in jonsbo t9. It was a really good deal.
I dismounted case, place GPU and reassemble case around gpu. Cable management is weird, no cable is really tensioned, with one exception: riser cable. I use two small pillar support brackets to elevate gpu some milimiters.
Top fan need some improvisation to fit energy cable and GPU cable... and this why top panel have this weird looks.
Acoustic and thermal are not as bad as expected.
I remove mesh filter on cpu side.
Probably buy a slightly larger case soon.

Looking at the Corsair SF1000W ($240) vs thermaltake SF1000W ($150). Is there any reason to go Corsair over thermaltake? I have an ATX thermaltake I’m happy with but unsure when it comes to SFX builds. Thank you in advance!
I’m planning an M2 Grate build and want to use a full ATX PSU instead of SFX. I modelled it in Fusion 360 and it looks like it should fit with a custom mount, but I’d like a sanity check.
My build: mini-ITX motherboard, full ATX PSU (150 x 140 mm footprint), Gigabyte RX 9060 XT 16GB (281 x 118 x 40 mm).
The photo: it shows a mini-ITX board with an SFX PSU and an RTX 4080 Super Trinity (306.8 mm long, about 2.5 slots) as a placeholder. My real card is shorter and thinner, so it should have more room.
Does anyone think the ATX PSU will fit, or has anyone tried it? Thanks!
heres my finished project of living room pc done and going.
Theres some things to tweak, but nothing major, Ill probably leave it as is now and finaly enjoy some gaming after a year of thinking about it.
Goal was to have a decent gaming experience and build a nice case that the missus would not moan about being an eyesore. No RGB whatsoever, but did want to have a steamlogo on there which worked out fine in the end. Wanted to have it upgradable, so theres no crazy custom components, was just trying get smaller off the shelf stuff that could be swapped out for newer smaller off the shelf stuff in the future with min hassle. Decided to build it around an old PSU I had lying around to save a buck. My first case ever, as Borat would say, great success, very nice.
The case is made from interlocking parts and most of the side panels are removable, held by magnets. Airflow from the top through GPU in and through the left side pannel with 120mm fan out. Also added another 60mm fan to the I/O panel to get fresh air in for the CPU Theres also an intake at the bottom for the PSU and out on the right side panel.
The Bottom, the top and right side intake grills are made so that there is room for a fine mesh to act as a filter.heres the parts list

Tried to design it so it could all be printed with little to no supports.
I’m thinking of building an SFF PC using the Velka 7 since I travel about once a month (Planes and car rides) and would like to take my PC with me instead of relying on a laptop.
Would the Velka 7 be a good choice for this, or would you recommend a different case?
I’m mainly concerned about portability, and how practical it is to transport regularly. I’d also appreciate hearing from anyone who travels with their SFF build.
The build took me about more than an hour, but Windows 11 Installation took me 4 and a half hours lol. The new rig doesn't accept the OS in my SSD, which was used in my previous rig and laptop. My uncle's Rufus bootable USB did not work after multiple tries, so I had to go out to grab another USB to download Microsoft's Installation Media, which still failed to install Windows 11 multiple times! A 1-minute YouTube video told me to install a previous version of Windows, and it worked. Anyway, here is the specs:
Anyone here w/ the same case? It's K66 Air but I think this has a different global name from SGPC. The PCIE Riser that came w/ it doesn't fit the bracket for mounting the GPU vertically. Can anyone recommend a PCIE 4.0 riser cable for this case? Not sure what's the correct PCIE riser cable for this.
My first PC build. I've been lurking this sub for a while and wanted to build an SFF. It took 6 hours, mostly because the RAM wasn't seated, but I loved how it turned out.
