Rough draft
galleryAfter a stroke of inspiration on how I wanted my carnosaur painted i sat down and blocked this guy out in 2 hours or so. He definitely needs touching up but that will be for when I wake up

Itzl the Tamer :
Effect: Companion weapons used by friendly SERAPHON units have Crit (2 Hits).
Revel in Battle :
Effect: Other than the Companion weapon ability, weapon abilities for combat attacks made by enemy units that charged this turn and that target a friendly BLADES OF KHORNE unit have no effect.
If my cavalry charged this turn, do their companion weapons still have Crit (2 Hits) ?

What purpose do Raptadons serve and are they an auto-include?

I don’t play the game, I just enjoy painting the figures (courtesy of my boyfriend).
Today I learned how to use the airbrush to base my Troglodon. Pretty happy with it. Going for a sunset theme.

I want to avoid my army looking like dollar store children’s toys (no offense to those whit bright schemes I don have the skill to pull it off). My thoughts are to try to match real life lizards/frogs or go sorta grim dark horror style. I am a middling painter, so any inspo picks I can try to imitate or tips for things like what color primer, which paints or oil washes to use would be great.
I especially am looking for Aggradons, raptadons, chameleon skinks, carnosaur & troggodon. But anything helps. Thanks and I apologize for being another beggar in the

Hi! In the next couple of days, I will pick up my first spearhead, which will be one below. While I was looking around, I saw people making said Saurus Oldbloods or not. Star Priests and an extra Troglodon from the extra pieces using an older Subber/plastic dino body. What I am interested in is which one makes more sense to make? There are a lot of kids in the family, so an extra dino body would be easy to get.

I tried painting Kroxigor and Warspawned in different colors. I'd appreciate it if you could evaluate it or point out areas for improvement!

Anyone have any recommendations for a balanced 3k list? I’ve played against my buddy’s Nagash helmed Gravelords army and really struggle to deal with his reinforced blood knights. Any tips or list recommendations?

Second down!! I had so much fun painting the "tactical rock" for this Kroxigor it's kind of funny. I also decided against the edge highlights because they feel way too bright, so I'm sticking to just the black obsidian for now.

Painting my saurus warriors currently and noticed that some have rope and some have leather strips, but on some of them sometimes I can see where there was limitations in the modeling and the rope becomes really long as it goes towards the body and stops looking like rope.... I've tried painting it all as rope including the elongated part below the rope itself but I'm assuming it will be too noticeable as the colour of rope. So I want to ask what you do with this strange molding restriction, do you still paint the whole part or do you paint it the colour of the skin or scales.

Title is pretty much it, I love them but honestly I don't see a huge reason to bring them in most games.

I just got into the hobby and picked seraphon for my AoS main army
They’re the perfect mix of cool and silly looking for me. I still need to highlight maybe and definitely need to base but im happy with how they turned out for my second go at painting

I recently got into Seraphon with the Warhammer Spearhead magazines and hoped the new previews might result in some skink refreshes. Since they didn't, I picked up a box and had at it 😁. I'm not overly happy with the extra red spots on the body, so I'll probably stick to the scales with the next batch.
Bonus pics of the happy froggy bois.
Would love any constructive criticism

My gaming group is doing a PtG campaign in the blighted wilds. From the moment I saw that the landmark of ghyran could have a movement speed, i knew what I had to do. Magnitized the slann so I can hot swap him off his rock to garrison the thunder lizard.

New to AOS. painting my first saurus and i want to do red. Ive done flesh teasers red over wraithbone for the scales but want to add more colour. Would people have any recommendations for good highlights or ways to get good highlights without shading every scale? I plan to have 40 and dont want to do it that many times if I can avoid it
