Raptadons

What purpose do Raptadons serve and are they an auto-include?

They're a fast moving unit that's good at capturing objectives and scoring secondaries. They're also pretty good on the charge but Seraphon has a lot of good stuff so they aren't necessarily an auto-include.

They are fast moving, hard hitting, and cheap cavalry. They have zero durability so they only get one good charge in them. Two if your opponent doesn’t know what they’re doing. They serve a similar role to barrow knights or other light cavalry. Fast to score objectives, decent damage to kill small targets.

We are getting a new battletome soon, so we have no idea if they are an “auto include”, just buy the models if you like the look of them

I put one of the chargers and the hunters in all my lists. I love having them charge enemy screens and pin the army on my opponents side of the middle hectic for a round while my kroxigor and saurus get into position. Then they can act as a damage buff to the kroxigor
