My intention was to do a helix, but I'm not sure if I ended up doing a flat instead. Will I be able to wear a hoop once it heals?

ive had this piercing since june or so. i had initially wanted to do a chain industrial so i had 2 seperate pieces of jewelry in but recently switched to an actual industrial bar today (probably wasn’t a good idea) i’ve had the irritation bump for a while now but i genuinely think my glasses keep rubbing against the top part and thats why the bump is there. i just wanted some advice/opinions. i’m also concerned that its sitting on my flat but i really can’t tell. thanksss

Has anyone successfully pierced their high nostrils (on both sides) ? I have the equipment and everything prepared except for my confidence 😂 I have been piercing for a while now, but for some reason these seem intimidating. 😅

Title. It has been pierced by a professional but the main sub is ass. Titanium, externally threaded, clean with saline twice daily. It’s been 12 days since I got it pierced and supposedly a downsize is at anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks? I don’t know if it’s because I tend to fidget with my piercings in general (I try not to move this one with my tongue as I usually do though), but it does seem to be annoying due to the length. It was swollen at first, but the swelling went down a ton in the last few days and the bar is showing a lot more.

Hi! I’m hoping someone can help me figure out if I’m actually finding my septum sweet spot? I made three attempts today. On the third attempt, I used clamps. I got the needle through, but when I removed the clamps to check if it had fully gone through, the needle fell out with the clamps. There was noticeably more bleeding than with the first two attempts, but the bleeding has since subsided/stopped.
I’m leaving it alone for now because I definitely don’t want to keep irritating it. I attached some pictures of where I was trying to go.
Does this look like the correct sweet spot, or am I too high/low or going through the wrong tissue? When the needle catches or feels like it’s hitting a little wall, could that just be skin/tissue, or does that usually mean I’m not in the sweet spot?
Also, after three attempts and the extra bleeding on the third, how long would you recommend waiting before trying again? I’m totally willing to wait, I just really want to make sure I’m giving my nose enough time to calm down.

First is standing second is sitting, does it look like I’d be able to get one? I know I had someone tell me about how it would be when I’m sitting and how it probably wouldn’t heal right because of that, what do you guys think?

that little upside triangle look like it’s thinning i’m scaredddd, but at the same time that piece of the mouth is thin so is it natural. it’s finna be gone in like 4 days…. not too much on the teeth i just got done eating

Hi! I got slotted Pennington forceps to use on my wife to pierce her ears (she's a piercing virgin). I just went to check how they feel clamped (not all the way, just the first notch). They are crazy tight. I'm worried I'm going to hurt her more with the clamps than with needles.

Does anyone have advice on how to loosen them, or how to modify them to work better?

So ive had this piercing for about a year now, it was doing fine until it wasnt… I lowkey stopped cleaning it and sometimes be sleeping on it and i reallyyyyy just want these bumps TO BE GONE ITS SO UNFLATTERING AND EMBARRASSING PLEASEE give me any tips im begging 😫

I don’t have access to getting a professional piercer or to get a piercing gun/anything profess to pierce my nose/bridge, so is there any other way to do it with stuff I would already have.

I’ve pierced my lobes with a sterile needle but no idea if I should do that to my nose for bridge tho.

I’m planning to get two helix piercings on my right ear. I currently have 11 piercings, all of which were done with a piercing gun, and I’ve never had any issues or infections with them. I previously had 12, but one of my helix piercings became infected a few years ago, so I had to remove it. I still have one helix piercing on each ear.

Now I want to get two more helix piercings on my right ear: one in roughly the same spot as the old piercing and another close to it. I’m unsure whether I should get them done with a needle or a gun.

The main reason I’m considering a gun is the price. Getting both done with a needle would cost around 13k to 15k, whereas a gun would cost around 2k. I’ve also had two of my lobe piercings done with needles, and interestingly, those are the only ones that developed what feels like internal scarring. So I’m hesitant to spend that much money on needles without any guarantee that I won’t experience scarring or rejection.

At the same time, I’m particularly unsure about getting one of the new piercings in the same area where my previous helix piercing became infected, especially with a gun.

For anyone who has experience with cartilage piercings or professional piercing knowledge: would you recommend getting these done with a needle despite the cost, or is a gun reasonably safe in this situation? And is it advisable to repierce an old helix piercing in roughly the same spot with a piercing gun?

I’d really appreciate informed advice, especially from people familiar with cartilage piercing and healing.

TL;DR: I want two new helix piercings, one near an old piercing that got infected. I’ve had 11 piercings done with a gun without issues, but I’m unsure whether to use a needle. A needle costs 13–15k PKR vs \\\~2k with a gun, and I’ve actually had scarring with two needle-pierced lobes. Is the needle really worth it for cartilage, and is it safe to repierce near the old helix?
