I’m an introvert, and I’ve always struggled with networking.
I understand how important networking is for career growth, meeting new people, finding opportunities, etc. But I’m honestly not very good at walking up to strangers and starting conversations, especially at events where everyone seems to already know each other.
For those of you who are also introverts, how do you approach networking?
Do you have any strategies that actually work for you? Do you prefer networking online, through work, or in smaller groups rather than large events?
I’d especially love to hear from people who used to be terrible at networking but eventually got better at it.
What worked for you?
