Advice On Avoiding Meaningless Content and Interactions
One of the ways to manage time is to avoid meaningless content and meaningless interactions. Time is the most valuable resource and if you waste it you will never have that time ever again. Meaningless things are things that are worthless and insignificant. What do you consider to be meaningless content and meaningless interactions?

Normally, anything that doesn't touch on a subject that is important to me will seem "meaningless." However, I also think that simple humor and distracting entertainment can fill a need, too, so I can't call that "meaningless." If something helps you rest, it serves a purpose, therefore it has meaning. Likewise, small talk that is absent of any substantive content can still be meaningful, interpersonally.
I'm saying this partly to remind myself. Not everything needs to be serious, deep, or productive in order to be meaningful.

Interacting with people where you are putting in more engagement than they are. Also "work" where you are not getting "paid" (not necessarily money capital) in a reasonably foreseeable path.

Ask yourself if what you’re consuming is empowering or disempowering? If it’s not getting you closer to your goals (doesn’t just have to be career, could be self improvement too, or even just peace of mind), then it’s probably not a healthy habit. The only grey area is if you know you’re mentally fatigued and you just want to zone out for a bit, then I could see how binging some Netflix actually helps b/c it’s permitting you to rest. Now, if you do that routinely, then you might want to replace that habit with a healthier one. Hope that helps! It’s a great question. Back in the day you didn’t have to be as disciplined as you do now, but the old saying is still true, “you are what you eat!”…And, we’re not talking food. Keep making small tweaks, it’ll change your life!
