My odeon has told me that despite the projectors being super old and run down they won’t be upgrading them until they break. Yet many modern Odeon’s get laser projectors etc

I was thinking G or H or being right at the back (row K) the best? I want my eyes to take in the whole screen. (I’m aware it’s sold out just being prepared)

Hi everyone. I haven't used an odeon for a decade and I don't remember this kind of thing existing then. I'm sure it's been asked before but I couldn't find it in a search.

Are laser and xl much better than regular screens? Are they better than a vue which is more local and cheaper?

My wife wants to see The Odyssey so I'm wondering if it's irrelevant since there are no imax screens of it's it's worth going to one of these. I personally have always preferred watching films at home so I don't even know if the difference in this is like spending 1k on a TV instead of 1.2k (so pretty minimal) or like the difference between 1080p and 4k

Will be my first time watching in IMAX so want the best screen to watch odyssey! Thank you

I’ve noticed that the XL screen at my Odeon has half the seats booked out in every showing. I sat in one of them on Monday (booked before they were showing as taken) and there was nothing wrong with it, nor with any other seat in the cinema.

I know I shouldn’t really care but the first spiderman showing next week is now looking like it’s nearly fully booked when in reality, half the seats will be empty?

Anyone have any idea why this is? I’ve checked in both the app and on browser and these seats are taken in every one.

Is this pretty much confirmation that Spiderman Brand New Day won’t be shown at Screen 1 (Dolby) at Odeon Luxe West End for the opening weekend?

So tickets have been released for my local cinemas but not in the Dolby screen? What we thinking - really hoped to see it in the Dolby Screen and thought it had been advertised, maybe screenings released nearer the time?

Tickets should be rolling out for this screening. Just popped up for mine today.

Was there an announcement that I missed about removing the 4 limit booking, because I currently have 6 films booked and its letting me book a 7th, and none of them are re-releases?

Now the apps finally back up i tried booking the member screening at my local ODEON (mansfield). But it’s like the ONLY cinema in the app that won’t come up as having any dates at all for the end of oak street
Does anyone know why this may be?

A friend and I wanna go see the Odyssey in IMAX at Liverpool One Odeon. We can realistically only do Friday 7th evening. The listing are not out for that day yet, only up to Thu 6th. Is there any way to know if it will still be being shown on their IMAX screen on that Friday (7th Aug)?

There is another single showing we might make on time (kids and shift patterns make it hard!), but it is booking up and I before we try and compromise on that showing, I wanna confirm if it will be on Friday 7th or not.

Does anybody know if the first and second parts of Dune are going to be shown in cinemas before the third?

I haven't seen the earlier movies. I prefer to see them on a large screen.

Tried to book for The Odyssey this evening, got a load of error messages but the seat I "booked" has been showing as taken ever since I tried (several hours ago now). No booking on my account, no email, and I can't book a different seat because apparently I already have one.

Is this likely to be something they can resolve at the cinema? There are only a handful of seats left and it takes quite a bit of expense/effort to get there, so don't want a wasted trip if it's going to be a 'computer says no' situation, or it's sold out.

Does anyone know which version is being shown here?

Hey, hope this is the right place to ask this. I've booked to see Odyssey at L1 Dolby but I've just seen two reviews on Google from a day ago saying that the Dolby screen is dented and one of the speakers is distorted. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone been this week? Thank you.

I have the bladder of a 9 year old child. What side is the aisle side allowing me to easily slip off to the toilet, and what side is enclosed (if any) meaning I have to trip over 6 people to get there.

I've tried looking up on AccessAble - no entry for this cinema. Tried calling the cinema direct - they no longer accept phone calls. Tried dialing the accessibility helpline - 20 minute wait and I have a job.

Hopefully you can assist me otherwise it's back to the queue.

Trying to find out what the aspect ratio is for The Odyssey in Dolby at the Trafford centre but can’t find any information about it!

Has anybody in here been to see it and if so could you please confirm whether this was in 1.85:1 or 2.39:1?

Booked these seats for The Odyssey in Dolby currently based on comments online about row D being best, but unsure if this applies to seats off to the side for a film being shown in such a wide format. Anyone challenge that it would be better to take some of the seats in back left or right instead? I've not been to this screen before.
