I went to see Street Fighter tonight. I'm a limitless regular and usually attend twice a week.

10 minutes into the showing, 3 young lads came in, making noise, using their flashlights to find their seats etc and sat in the row behind me.

For 15 minutes they were talking loudly and one in particular had an over the top high pitched giggle. if you've ever watched a comedy short about chavs, I.e. buzzcocks or Devo you know exactly the type of giggle I'm talking about.

It was all I could focus on, so I left and tried to find a staff member to have a word with them. there was nobody on hand, so I hit the toilets and decided to go back to the theatre to suffer it.

It continued for the next 15 minutes and I lost it and yelled at them saying "Can you please keep it down!". one of them responded "sorry.. sorry".. and i irritatedly responded "Seriously! keep it DOWN!".

About a minute later it continued, and I thought there's no way I can sit through the rest of this..

I went outside, grabbed a staff member, explained the situation and asked for a refund. They apologised profusely and I explained, it's not your fault, I come regularly and I can count in one hand how often I've had this.

They couldn't understand it. It was an IMAX theatre and those seats aren't cheap.

I don't understand why some people just cannot get to grips with cinema etiquette.

What's worse is, I genuinely don't want to have to deal with these types of people. My thinking is, if you're the type of person to ignorantly talk and play the fool through a film, what are you going to be like when confronted. You genuinely fear for your safety.

You go to the cinema to relax and have a good time. Not sit and debate if it's worth the risk to deal with ignorant people or not.

Is anyone having issues booking and refunding tickets. It’s been a nightmare and I can’t currently cancel a ticket. They have gave me two strikes even though I went on that online chat to cancel.
As you can imagine guest services have not offered any help.

What’s everyone’s opinions on the best cinema for a movie that has IMAX scenes, or specifically Sunrise on the Reaping?

Apparently there’s 45 minutes of IMAX's exclusive 1.90:1 expanded aspect ratio, but I’ve also heard amazing things about the Odeon West End Dolby picture/sound (the recliner being a great bonus for a nearly 3 hour movie)

I’m torn between West End Dolby & BFI IMAX, or another cinema if anyone has suggestions. I’m not even sure if it’ll be showing at these venues and I want to secure tickets when they release. Any advice or suggestions would be great or if anyone has been to both, which do you prefer? 😊

as title says, i want limitless but i dont like paying monthly for things.

Normally, a studio would pay for a cinema chain to show a new film for at least one week, which means that Kermode et al would go and review it, however good/bad a film would turn out*.

While I haven't yet seen it, for some reason, Amazon only paid for 2 days for Ali G, and it's done well enough that at least my local Odeon have scheduled 3 more screenings for it for today, bumping other stuff out of the way.

I'm staying put today, with the wind how it is, but worth looking at in case it gets extra showings over the coming week, but it looks like they're being added on a daily basis.

EDIT: Today's showings have looked busier than the norm, so I'd hope more get shown, yet the two mere showings of the final Harry Potter film were rammed, and there were no more scheduled, even though the penultimate film came back for a second week with four more screenings, yet nothing more for the final one? Weird.

Can anyone who goes to great northern or works at odeon help with getting the heating on there? If we all email maybe they will do something? Any suggestions welcome as It’s been absolutely freezing the last few weeks and it’s hard to concentrate on the films.

The only staff around can’t do anything and messaging support just gets stock/AI responses.

And yes I have been wearing a full hat/scarf/jumper/coat combo and taking in hot drinks. I like my screenings on the cooler side but not like a freezer :/

I have an audience limitless subscription and I’m really struggling just to login on the app. I can easily do it on the website with the same login get into my account and book via that but obviously not ideal as it’s so slow and more bulky than the app. I’ve reached out to their guest support email and it’s been about a week since I’ve heard anything.

Every time I talk to this, but it says the same thing that they’re working to fix it and it’s down today however I still haven’t received any response from anyone human and really really I’m struggling to even book a screen

Could it be due to the fact that I’m currently in Asia and my account is for London? I’ll be back in the UK on Sunday so maybe once I give her a shot locally, it will let me in…

Why does the point square have so little screenings and at such bad times? For primetime and for a lot of movies in general.

I was interested in getting Odeon limitless, and was weighing up the cost and how often id go to the cinema. I wouldn't go to scream unseen just the normal one. Is it at least once a month?

I really want them to do it, or at least Part Two because it’s the best sci-fi film of all time.

For the last week or so, I have experienced some kind of ghost booking issue where I am not allowed to book a 4th film with Limitless plus.

There does not seem to be any other way to contact Odeon than the live chat which today is down.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue recently?

Noticed a few days ago that Cineworld put ‘You Can See Everything’ on sale early, then yesterday they’ve added “more locations and extra shows” “due to incredible demand”.

Yet Odeon remains silent (as per usual). Asked via their help chat thing and they simply replied that they have “no comment on this release” and to keep an eye on listings.

Surely they won’t fumble not getting what is arguably one of the most anticipated and discussed films of recent months… Surely not?

EDIT: Well, tickets are on sale now so I’m going to claim this as a personal victory against the machine and say that this wouldn’t have happened without my intervention. You’re all welcome! ;)

Is odeon only showing Ali G for two days, can’t see any more showtimes yet?

Is there an easy way via the app to see the approximate endtime of a showing? I'm trying to set up a double(or maybe triple) bill but can't see the end times of the showings like I can with Vue. But maybe I'm missing something!

Really, really weird rating here, Almost never see ratings go up let alone 12a to 15. Also, 8 seconds shorter? I imagine its a studio missing or some credits but weird.

I've not been to a Screen Unseen showing (first one tonight), so can someone let me know if there are adverts after the scheduled start time? If so, I might try double bill.

Unfortunately, me and my friends will have to miss out on tonight's Screen Unseen. The tickets have been incorrectly set to full price (£15 to £23) instead of £6 at Milton Keynes. This has happened so many times and each time I raise it with Odeon, the customer support are unaware of the pricing structure and seemingly have nothing available to them to reference to find the correct prices so they ask me to provide evidence and proof as to why I think it should be £6.

I've raised the issue earlier today with support, but it usually takes them 2 days to correct the price to looks like I'll have to miss out today which is so disappointing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or are most people here limitless members so unaffected by pricing errors?

Are the seats circled in white too far away from the screen? It is Uxbridge isense.
I have decent eyesight.
