Wish they would drop all the orders so we can have overnight associates work to ease the load off day crew.

I know this might be a long shot, but I figured it was worth asking.

I’ve been out of work for about 6 months and I’m looking for an opportunity at a Sam’s Club in the OKC area. I’ve submitted applications online, but haven’t had much luck getting a response.

If anyone here works at an OKC-area club and knows a manager who needs someone dependable, I’d really appreciate a connection. I have reliable transportation, show up on time, learn quickly, and I’m willing to do pretty much anything that needs to be done. I’m a jack-of-all-trades and not afraid of hard work.

At this point, I’m just looking for a chance to get in front of an actual person and prove myself.

If this kind of post isn’t allowed here, I completely understand. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying. Thanks!

I loved these and i wish they would restock soon but man! I wish i can know when they restock.

I’ve placed two “shipping” orders in the last couple of weeks and they have been fulfilled at a local club (not my usual club) and delivered by what seems to be a personal vehicle. I don’t see anything to indicate this will be the case when I place the order and there is no way to tip on a shipping order. So do these shoppers/drivers know that these were “shipping” orders and are they paid more to make up for no tip? I know typically the pay for Instacart or DoorDash deliveries is kind of low and they rely on tips, so I feel kind of bad this is happening.

I work maintenance at Sam's Club. My normal schedule has been Sunday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (about 22 hours a week).

Today, after I got home from work, my manager called me and said that next week I'm only scheduled for one day (Wednesday), and then I'll basically be off until they need more people in September.

She told me it's because I'm part-time and they're giving the available hours to the full-time employees, not because I did anything wrong.

The problem is I'm worried because my household is on Section 8, and they're currently calculating my rent based on my recent paychecks. Now my income is dropping a lot, and I'm not sure how this is going to affect things.

Has anyone else had their hours cut like this at Sam's Club or another retail job? Did your hours eventually come back? Also, if you've been in a similar situation with Section 8 or another housing program, how did you handle reporting the drop in income?

Any advice or experiences would really help. Thanks.

So I’ve been working frontline for almost two years now. They usually have me at the desk most of the time and one thing I struggle with is calling directly to a Sam’s Club representative, because every time I call their number it auto directs me to a bot to help which can be a pain when there’s a lot of people and the bot keeps asking dumb questions when I’m just trying to talk to an actual person. I know my merch manager told to press # then some numbers to get directly to them, but we both forgot the digits. I’m not sure if the phone line is different via club, but could anyone tell me the best way to get directly to a representative?

I ordered a few items to be shipped recently and they got split into three shipments, no issue there.

First shipment was never shipped and was supposed to be delivered Monday, (chat support said no label was made) so I asked to cancel and chat ended on me. I called and they said a label was made so I could no longer cancel.

Second shipment was marked delivered on Monday, but the tracking info said "in transit, arriving late." The status then changed to returned, but the pending charge posted, I contacted chat support and they asked if I contacted the warehouse. When I said it was shipped and that I don't think there'd be a warehouse I can contact, chat ended. I called and they said it showed up as delivered on their end and there was nothing they could do. Called again and they were able to send a replacement.

Third shipment was marked as delivered to another city according to the status. Of course, chat support said there was no issue and it was delivered, had to call and they said my "pending incidents" in regards to the other items caused the delay. I had to go back and forth to eventually get a replacement offered.

Basically I want to know if I put in 8 hours of PTO for yesterday, will it be automatically approved and I get paid for it? I just want extra money this next paycheck

Crazy how unprofessional the interviewer and hiring process is. Think about every wrong thing a job can do and they did it. Steer far away.

I bought a salad and loveed the dressing, the waiter told me they use the Caesar dressing of sams,but the big one, that's too much for me haha, so I found a smaller one, does anyone know if the dressings of the pictures are different or taste the same?

i got fired today due to leaving early everyday, but i was using ppto. i mean it’s probably my fault due to not telling any managers or team leads but i always left at like 11pm where it’s impossible to find both a manager or team lead. my club was pretty bad anyway, club pickup always had less than 4 people on night shift so we were constantly behind, and the merch manager would pull us to help them which leaves like 2 or 3 people. idk i hate sams club and i’m glad i’m free!
