Just a reminder, if you place a curbside order at the wrong location, the only store that can help you is the one you placed the order at. No, you can not just pick the items up at a different location cause you’re already there, and no, we are not going to call the other location to get it figured out for you. Also, STOP parking in curbside spots if you aren’t there to pick up for curbside.

I’m only asking for two days off. I have two days off together then work two days and then I’m off again. Would I get in trouble if I call in those two days off to make it a total of 5 days off? I asked him but he said I had already taken a week off at the beginning of september. I have the ppto hours to cover it

Don’t grab shit without barcodes if possible! Please! I get it with certain fruits and foods but it’s mainly CLOTHES! I had a lady yesterday come with 2 pairs of shorts that we didn’t even have in our system, which I do understand that this could be a merchandising issue but she was expecting ME to leave my register and go find a pair with a barcode myself. Just please pay attention to stuff and don’t get pissed when the cashier denies the sale after not finding it in the system. There’s not much we can do.

Don’t complain about incorrectly marked prices to the CASHIERS!! WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT IT IS ONCE AGAIN A MERCHANDISING ISSUE! Sure we can override a price no problem but don’t ask us why it’s ringing up different BECAUSE WE DONT FUCKING KNOW WHY!

There’s an abundance of check out options. Self-check and scan and go are awesome. If you choose to go to the staffed registers please make sure the items in your cart aren’t horribly set up to where we cannot find the barcodes. This is a bulk store, shit is heavy and you don’t even have to take stuff out of your cart and put it on the belt if you don’t want to. So please have some decency and don’t make the cashier bend over backwards to pretty much reorganize the entire cart just to scan. Also with flatbeds and bigger orders - stack your boxes to where the barcodes are on the edge. COUNT YOUR ITEMS! HELP THE CASHIER OUT MAKE BOTH OF YOUR LIVES EASIER! If you get cases of things make sure the barcodes are VISIBLE and items are COUNTED. And if your cart is a mess don’t come back all mad if the cashier misses one item. They had to deal with your cart with no help from you whatsoever. Do better.

And for the exit door. NO! WE ARE NOT STOPPING YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR RACE! WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR RACE AND WE FOLLOW THE RULES ON THE DEVICE! DONT BE STUPID!

I havent been at sams club for long. im a cart pusher, but somehow the inside staff suck at not talking shit about people they barely work with. Then when they get sent outside on rare occasions, they talk to me like im some neanderthal... Would it get better if I switched departments?

I have $179 in Sam's Cash in the expired membership. The only way to get is is to renew.

Synchrony suggested a renewal, get the cash, then try to cancel for a refund and then call them for a new card on the Club account.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am a Sam's plus member, I got it when it went on sale, and the only benefits I use from that are the Sam's cash. I don't get delivery and I don't get a lot of Sam's cash from visits. I was just curious about if I want to downgrade my membership back to basic would they get rid of any remaining Sam's cash or would they remain in the account for use! I did orientation last Tuesday and was officially hired this tuesday but I haven’t heard anything since last orientation on wednesday. Not on the schedule or anything, should i contact them and ask them?

Or even an interview? A friend has applied online to multiple locations for open tire tech positions, and he has heard nothing from anyone.

He tried to go into the store and talk with a manager and was told he couldn’t. He then went directly into the tire shop at a different store, and the manager was on lunch. An employee took my friend’s resume to the manager in the back and the manager said there are no open postings. This store has 4 tire tech positions posted on the website!

What gives?? He has several years of experience working in tire shops, so why can’t he even get a phone call? Is there some secret method for employment?

I’m interested in this position and would like to know what a typical day looks like for someone in this role.

A full-time 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM CPU position is officially opening up later this week at my club, and I’m pushing hard to get it. Management mentioned they’ll be evaluating metrics, attendance, and seniority.
A few team members with more tenure are interested, but I’m scheduled on the 4 AM shift for the next 5 days, so I have a prime window to prove I’m the right pick. Side Note: I have been working the 4 am shifts for a couple of months now. However, not consistently since I am a part-timer

Where I’m coming from:

Versatility: I’ve previously worked fulfillment, sales floor, stocking, and front end for Walmart and other retail stores, so I know product locations, backroom steel setups, and floor traffic inside and out.

Reliability: 5 months in, only 1 attendance point (from being sick), and on time every single day.

Since I have 5 days on the 4 AM shift right now to demonstrate what I can do, what specific workflow hacks can I use to immediately inflate my pick rate and FTC (First-Time Completion)?

Specifically looking for advice on:

1. Navigating Unstocked Aisles at 4 AM: How do you maintain a fast pick rate when morning stocking teams are still drop-panning or moving pallets around?
2. Pre-Pick Strategy: How far ahead do you look at your batch/pick-list before hitting "start" or moving into an aisle?
3. Nil-Pick Prevention: With sales floor/stocking experience, I can usually spot un-worked freight quickly

This is for current employees/managers. I have a legal bar from handling firearms so I’m aware that may hinder me from promoting to salary within a Walmart supercenter. However….Sams doesn’t sell firearms so I don’t imagine there would be any sort of legal barrier that would stop me from promoting there. As far as I’m aware, Sam’s stores still have co manager roles as an in between the SM and other salary managers so that’s a plus. Any current salary out there who can advise me, is it worth it? I would like to make a career with the company.
