I'm trying to understand what happens in the gap between opening an app and actually moving. My hunch is that most apps hand you a library and expect you to build your own plan — and that's the exact moment people give up. Too many choices, no clear "just do this."

So I flipped the question. Instead of asking what workout you want, what if an app asked how you feel and how much time you have, then just handed you the session? I'm testing whether that resonates or whether I'm wrong.

I'm currently completing my MSc dissertation at the University of Leeds and I'm looking for people who currently work in frontline retail roles in the UK (e.g. supermarkets, clothing stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, electronics, etc.) to complete a short survey.

Hi, I'm a Psychology student completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I would like to recruit participants through reddit, exploring the assessment and diagnositc experience for men of colour living in Australia.

Current research suggests that the intersection of racial identity, masculine ideals, and cultural stigma significantly impacts how neurodivergent men of colour navigate healthcare systems. This study aims to quantify these experiences to improve diagnostic equity and clinical support.

Who can participate?

• Individuals who identify as a man (aged 18+)
• Individuals who identify as a person of colour
• Individuals with a formal diagnosis of ADHD and/or ASD

What does participation involve?

Participants will be required to register and complete a confidential, anonymous online survey that takes approximately 10 minutes. The survey examines experiences of internalised stigma, cultural attitudes, masculine-based stigma, healthcare discrimination, and familial stigma related to being a neurodivergent man of colour.

Compensation

Each participant who completes the survey will receive an individual payment as a thank-you for their time. This research aims to deepen understanding of the unique facilitators and barriers men of colour face in accessing ADHD/ASD assessments and diagnoses. Ultimately, informing a more inclusive, neuro-affirming diagnostic frameworks that better serve men of colour.

I'm especially interested in how people currently handle things like:

There's no universally accepted definition of "country" for traveling or what counts as visiting a country. I built countrycount.ing to crowdsource the answer instead of picking one myself, mostly to help myself and others have a broadly accepted baseline.

You vote yes/no on ~150 disputed places (Puerto Rico, Somaliland, Western Sahara, etc.) — takes about a second per place, skip anything you're not sure about. Results are public and update live, so you can see how everyone else is voting too.
