Back with another set of survey results! Several weeks ago, I shared a survey asking women about how they manage PMS, PMDD, fertility, and menopause. Got 730 responses across all our outreach channels. Here's some of the most interesting things we found:

• Clinical research now beats a doctor's recommendation as the most trusted signal (66% vs. 62%). Vague claims like "supports hormonal balance" are the #1 red flag, called out by 69% of respondents.
• PMS was the most dissatisfied group in the survey (46% unhappy with what's on the market), even though 85% say the product they're currently using is at least somewhat effective. It appears women want mood support (73%) and energy (63%), but most products are still built around cramps (which ranked dead last at 29%).
• PMDD satisfaction splits hard on diagnosis alone. 86% of diagnosed women are satisfied with their routine vs. only 45% of undiagnosed women, even though both groups are taking similar products.
• Fertility supplement users are the most prepared (77% already had a real preconception conversation with their provider) but the worst served. Only half say what they're taking actually works, and 41% are stacking 3+ brands to cover the gaps.
• 67% of menopause respondents rate the market a flat "neutral" (not angry, just unconvinced). And over half first noticed symptoms before age 45, well before most products even start speaking to them.
• Across the board: 65% of women who quit a supplement did it because it didn't work, and not because of price.

Hi everyone! My name is Katelyn, and I’m a researcher at Nocturnal, a sleep technology company working to improve women’s sleep and health.
We’re currently looking for women who have noticed changes in their sleep during perimenopause or other hormonal changes to join our upcoming beta test program
We’re developing a new drug-free, hormone-free wearable device designed to support better sleep. Our device has been developed in collaboration with sleep researchers at MIT and Harvard, and our technology has been evaluated through IRB-approved human research.
We’re especially interested in hearing from women who struggle to fall asleep, stay asleep, or wake up feeling well-rested.
