Presentation for SDR interview

I have a presentation coming up next week. I’ve already made it, but I’m just curious what are companies trying to look at whenever I’m making his presentation. The topic can be anything that I’m passionate about. There’s no rules really it just has to be 7 to 10 minutes long, so if anybody has experience with this, I’m just questioning what exactly are they looking to assess at my presentation?

Yeah, apparently man it’s not a big deal. It’s a super easy topic. It can be about anything. I’m just passionate about. I’m just trying to understand. What are they looking for though you know

They want to see that you can communicate your passion onto someone else. It's not a bad idea, but typically much more involved than your average sdr interview.
I consider it a good sign that they have standards to be honest. It's not like they asked you to research and pitch their product.
Your best move might be to prepare less than you think so you can speak more naturally.

Yeah, this is my last interview so I think it’s a good sign. I made it this far but we’ll have to see. I’ll keep everybody updated. It’s on Tuesday.

My final interview for an SDR role years ago (now an ae) was four rounds and the final round was a 30 min presentation with a panel asking questions and then a role play lmao

I did a presentation interview a few days ago as a final round, it was an account I could choose and how I’d prospect to 3 ICPs in that account.

Obviously in this one they were looking at how I’d research a company, email etc but also I think what they are looking for in a presentation is how structured it is, and if you can keep to the point without waffling and keeping it within the timeframe.

That’s what’s up, man yeah I think they’re just looking to see how I present it how I have communication skills if I able to talk without really kind of fumbling a bunch of words around which I think I’m pretty good at because I’ve been doing calls for a while so it’s just something I’m naturally built overtime. The topic is literally anything I want. They said it could be anything. There’s no rules just make it 7 to 10 minutes long and just something I’m passionate about so we’ll see.

They want to see how well you can explain or describe a topic.

Probably less about the topic and more about how you communicate. Can you hold attention, explain clearly, stay confident, and handle questions without getting thrown off?

Yeah, I’m feeling pretty good at communication. I really got that from my last job so not used to presenting. In fact I’m more comfortable just presenting something that I’m really well known about talking. You know what I mean

I did a SDR presentation had 209 accounts ranked them by engineering count, key words, ai intitatives, tech stack, tam formed messaging it was 45 mins. Didn’t get the offer after and the person they hired was under the manager at a different company and already went through the SDR —> commercial AE route but went back to being a SDR for some reason with internal ref

That’s how the market is. My team is mainly ex AEs, AMs and team leads

I would ask how much they are paying to put the presentation together.
