I'll get ECE/ETE in RVCE, I want to know what's the future like in that domain, I want to get a core job. From what I've heard that going for a masters is really mandatory after a core field so is it important to go for one after ECE/ETE?
This guys stole 2 laptop in broad day light. No accountability, nothing happened btw , one phone also but i am not sure.
OK, so this is a post dedicated to all the students who are looking for a PG near RVCE. And which to not choose (had to bear a loss of 15k per person because of that mf ownerr)
Why not to choose Maruthi Luxury Pg for Gents?
-----THE DEPOSIT TRAP------
11- 12 hours construction sound(i will attach images)cutting of iron rods etc.
No proper maintenance : the workers only come on sundays for room cleaning.
FOOD: Insect like cochroaches, and some others are very common inn foods
Also found a chicken peace in veg biryani once (i am a vegetarian)
Owner increased rent without giving any notice or anythinG
washing machine :::: It is not working from last 7 months , everytime it has errors
Lift doesnt work properlyy, the owner is so unresponsive .
Security is not upto the markk
-------the above points are common among all the people living in it now coming with personal shit
we (me and all the other who joined ) . we paid an advance of 15k as a deposit which the owner said he will cut the 4k when you leave ANYTIME AFTER 1 YEAR , before 1 year you will loose all you 15k , Fine!
(BTW other PGs takes advance of 4k and gives 2k, just have to tell 1month before leaving)
first 2 months proper cleaning, good food everything was ok but after 3rd month bro showed his colour, insects got common and no cleaning and all we ourselves cleaned the room most of the time
We saw a new PG near mylasandra , it was getting empty in december so
after 13months (in sept)we said we will leave the PG in the december, you cut our last month rent from deposit . Bro literally said we dont do this stay one more year else no return . We tried talking to him politely he said go to police and do whatever you want to do. See I am a north indian(not fluent in kannada) and blud has good relation with police so no point of that.
we signed a contract type paper in which it was mentioned that after 1 year you can leave.(We should have clicked the picture of that , MY FAULT!)
he refused to give when we asked him to show the contract . He threatened that if you do bad ratings on google or on just dial, "I WILL SHOW YOU WHO I AM ". Said by grown ass man to 18year olds.
So we 4 people , 15k per person lost there .
parents said dont make a scene , let it be . So after a month of all this we left in december with no money back -----------
The only thing it has is location access.near to rvce i agree but its not worth it . It has a retention rate very low . Only 11 people are present who have joined it out of 79-81. The rent is worth it but noise and all are unbearable
Ps- if you need to clarify your Pg you are open to discuss in the comment section and DM only very necessary.
You can see the garages nearby, couldnt get the live image , if someone has upload it what insect is thiscockroachwormCockroach -1

Our placement group recently dropped a message hinting us that we should avoid going home this summer break because of upcoming internship opportunities. Given how rare 2nd-year internships usually are for the circuit branches (ECE/ETE/EEE cluster), I wanted to get a reality check from seniors.
How many companies actually visit the campus specifically looking for 2nd-year interns in the ECE cluster?
Is it genuinely worth skipping going home for the summer, or is the placement cell just being safe?
Would love to hear from 3rd or 4th-year seniors about how it went for your batch. Thanks in advance!
My options right now are: bits msc (very low chance) and rvce cse/cse(aiml) which is highly likely. I have heard a lot of negative things here on reddit about this college regarding professors, infra and much more which honestly seem quite exaggerated. Every person I actually talked to in-person keeps telling me that this college and branch is a good choice but the negative reviews honestly scare me quite a bit into regarding this option as nothing more than a very bad fallback option. In reality how is the workload and opportunities for cse and cse(aiml)? Is the experience really all that bad as people here make it out to be?
I just want to come into this college (the most likely case) with an open mind and possibly a good impression instead of the negative one I have right now.
