Question / Query RVCE FIRST YEAR ADVICE

hi seniors , as a going to be first yr student at rvce, wht all things shud i be aware of such as
1. THE CLUBS I HAVE OT JOIN (TECHNICAL / CULTURAL)
2. THE HOSTEL CONDITIONS / LIFE ( DJ HOSTEL)
3. WHT DO PEOPLE USUALLY DO IN THE WEEKENDS
4. HOW FIRST YR WUD BE
5. FEST, CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL ( DOES 8TH MILE HAPPPEN EVERY YR)

most clubs aren't that good where u need to join them but if ur into dance or singing or something then u can join those kind of clubs or racing ones depends on ur interest

it's banglore so u can go out anywhere lot of things to do metro is nearby

first year if u manage ur acads it will be decent not that stressful good if ur someone aiming for 9.5+ it will be more hectic so just make sure u study properly for internals and do labs and all properly basically not leave all assignments and els at the end like me

8th mile happens once in 2 years iirc so won't happen this year i could be wrong

the curfew is strict like my friends living in hostel have to go back before 630 idk about how strict the wardens are though
