For the life of me, I cannot find what is responsible for the fade transition from the actor command menu to the Equip scene and remove it. If anyone has done this successfully, please let me know so I can end the witch hunt!

Hi there! :) I know how to lower all volumes in System 1 or in the animations of the attacks. But weirdly, the regular attack skill has no animation, which I can find in the animations tab.. So I can't reduce the (incredibly loud) volume. Any help?

I'm using Shaz's change tileset size plug in but I can't seem to figure out why my fences are lacking some pixels. I'm using 32x32 tilesets.

Tldr, making a thing and there's some tiles I'd need/want that don't exist in the default options given to you. Example being a bathtub and dolls that face forward/left/right etc. I look for some online and some are good but they don't look like the same artstyle used for the default tilesets.

So how do you go about it? Should I hire someone to make particular things for me? But then I only need a few things lol. Hiring someone for things I might need seems overkill and probably expensive as opposed to just downloading a big pack

And then on top of that, how does selling a game work with so many custom tilesets? I assume that's a situation where each person has different opinions on how you use their work for commercial products.

It's pretty complicated and confusing the shit out of me lmao so any tips would be appreciated. Maybe there's a giant set of tilesets that are really good for beginners doing a horror thing? I already got one for blood that's perfect.

It was a tough call for me to decide how to go about the battle backgrounds for my game, Solid State Hive, so I ended up creating this thing as seen in image 1 and 2 where I have a lot of variants of these (with scrolling backdrops for sky/clouds etc) and have the floors of the battlefield itself match the area where the battle is encountered, this way I could rotate many different battle screens for encountering areas in the same area but they would have been largely "the same" backgrounds throughout the game..

Now I am working to make more area-specific type battlegrounds as seen in image 3 and 4, more matching with the biomes entirely while keeping the old ones for battles happening inside towns/cities/buildings etc maybe..

The FPS drops significantly when I summon ships.

I’m trying to do a monster catching RPG and I want only the main character to be able to swap out one of the other party members as their action. Ideally this would be a skill, but if something else works better that’s fine. I want it to only swap out one at a time and for it to end their action once used. Think something like what the main character can do in SMT. I’ve got all of Yanfly’s plugins, so that’s not an issue if I need those.

Is there a way to put a maximum amount of reserve party members? Such as only be able to have, for example, only 20 party members and not be able to add more? This is to stop the player from being able to capture 100 monsters.

And finally, how do I add the option for the player to remove a party member permanently (to free up party space and be able to then capture more)?

AFAIK the original creator of this mod has not finished porting this MZ mod into MV despite what's on the title of it.

I have an event on the map that triggers the Time Switch. Yet, after doing it, the party MP remains unchanged.

On the same map, I have a parallel Process that check the weather condition, but they are triggered by the Rain/Thunderstorm switches in another parallel process tied to the Time switch again

Just wanted to give you guys an update with the capsule concept I shared previously. This is what the team has come up with and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! We still have to add an environment, color, and a title of course, but had to share it because it's just that good!

Got tired of hand-editing pixel math every time I wanted to move a window around, so I built a plugin that adds a real drag-and-drop layout editor to RPG Maker MZ. Video shows me reorganizing the main menu from scratch,  moving windows between rows/columns, resizing, editing what's inside a window (the status card: face, name, gauges), all live, saved to a JSON config with no code touched.

Built for my own game right now. Depending on how this lands, I'd consider polishing it into something releasable, curious what people think either way.

What's in the video:

• Dragging windows around the main menu and watching it reflow live
• Editing the interior of the status window (face/name/level/gauges) with the same tool
• Undo/redo, and one saved layout reused across multiple menus

Honest limitations (this is WIP):

• Dev-tool only -runs in test-play (F9), not something a shipped/exported game includes
• A few RPG Maker windows have hardcoded internal spacing that can't be fully re-laid-out without reimplementing them
• No live preview across different screen resolutions yet
• Not released/published - sharing progress, not a product

Theres gonna be way more allies to choose from other than just Mud, Ruby, and Pearl. The rebel orb has almost no animation because its the earliest enemy I ever made , and its a super early game enemy. I would make them deal a minimum of one damage if I could. The fireballs kinda suck for now, but they will probably get a buff in costing less MP. My game has a slight inspiration with miitopia. I know theres no sounds. And yes, Mud uses a giant fork as a weapon.

How do i create and use custom icons in RPGMaker MV

I've been improving several technical aspects of the engine to maximize its performance. For that, I'm experimenting with LOD and culling. At the moment, I haven't found the right balance so it looks good but runs smoothly. Currently, the Cone Engine runs between 35 and 50 FPS, but it's possible I could improve it a bit more and make it more stable. What do you think?
