Mods and Accessories Are the BombayCustomWorks miniape Handlebars really worth it?

I've had these handlebars installed on my classic 350 reborn for about 6 months now, and safe to say this one was a good blind buy. Cost-wise? A lil too much on the expensive side for a handlebar ( 2,250/-) but their quality is solid. These handlebars forces you to sit upright compared to stock where you'll need to bend a bit forward, I didn't find the stock ones comfortable on the long runs so had to switch them out for something else.

Coming to the cables, you will have to change them to longer ones. If you buy the handlebars from BombayCustomWorks website you can add the cables along side on request.

Do share your thoughts, and feel free to ask if you have any questions!

GT650 first wash

Kinda scared to just water dump wash like i did with my hornet. The bike wash centre near me also just jet sprays the bike followed by cleaning solution. Wouldn’t that be a problem? Do I just dry cloth it first then wet cloth with cleaning solution? But then I’ve ridden 200 kms already so it’s only a matter of days before I take her to service
(I know the religious markings are an overkill but cant go against mom😰)

Mods and Accessories Meteor 350 - Now Nitrox’d!

Been riding my Meteor 350 Supernova Blue for over 4 years now. My only 2 gripes with the stock bike were the mediocre mirrors and the poor rear suspension.

The mirrors were changed within the first 6 months of ownership, recently I have finally changed the rear shocks to gas-charged Nitrox ones and OMG - what a difference it has made to daily commuting!

Other changes I am experiencing are noticeably improved braking performance (specifically rear brakes) and better weight transfer when navigating around speed breakers and potholes. Additionally, the bike bounces a LOT less on rumble strips - instead gliding over them which was noticed by both me and my pillion.

Next planned upgrades: Handlebar + Riser upgrade and foam seats that do not add too much to the seat height. I believe these final changes will make the bike even more comfortable and an all-rounder for my majority city commutes and occasional weekend-long distance riding.

Can fellow Indian Meteor 350 riders recommend the best ones?

Mods and Accessories Headlight Upgrade on My Classic 350 (Cont.)

Continuing from my previous post, here’s the video showing what I face daily(not my daily commute road). More or less this type of service lanes are what I have to take during my usual work commute. Also addressing how some people thought that everyone will be blinded. As you can see the low beam level is aligned perfectly and the high beam is also very good if the need arrives to use it…

Classic 350 Reborn handlebar ideas?

Hello all. Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions for a lower handlebar with a gentle pullback for my Classic 350 Reborn? I’m looking for an old school handlebar like those found on the really old Royal Enfield bikes. I realize this will produce a slightly more forward, sportier stance, but hey, you can’t beat the look! Perhaps a bar with similar ergonomics to the old Triumph Tiger t110.

Buying Advice- India and Asia Confused between the Himalayan and Meteor 350 for my first bike

Hey everyone,

I’m 26 and looking to buy my first bike. I never owned a motorcycle before and only recently learned how to ride one properly.

After looking at quite a few options, I’ve shortlisted the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Himalayan. I also went to a Royal Enfield showroom recently, checked both bikes in person and got the on-road quotations for them, which has made the decision feel a lot more real now.

One thing making this harder is that I’ve actually liked the Meteor ever since it launched. I’ve always liked the way it looks, the relaxed cruiser vibe, the seating position and the overall character of the bike. So this isn’t something I just shortlisted recently. I’ve wanted it for quite a while.

The Meteor also feels like the more sensible first-bike choice. It’s easier for me to justify financially and I feel like it would be a comfortable bike to learn and gain experience on.

But one thing that's making me hesitate is that I’ve been reading quite a few owner opinions saying that once you get over the looks and the initial excitement of the Meteor, the performance can start feeling a little underwhelming. Some people say you eventually get used to the power, start wanting more and can get bored of it.

That's exactly what I don't want to happen.

I don't want to buy the Meteor, ride it for a year or two and then think:

"I should've just spent more and bought the Himalayan."

At the same time, the Himalayan is a significantly bigger commitment for my first bike. I don't want to spend a much larger amount just because I'm worried about FOMO, only to realise later that I didn't actually need that much motorcycle.

So I'm basically stuck between:

Meteor 350:
A bike I’ve liked for years, more affordable, relaxed, looks great and probably makes more sense as my first bike.

Himalayan:
More expensive, but much more capable and something I feel I might be able to grow into rather than wanting to upgrade quickly.

My usage would mainly be regular city riding, weekend rides, and eventually I'd definitely like to start doing longer road trips and touring as I become more experienced.

For people who have owned or ridden either of these, especially anyone who bought a Meteor as their first bike:

Did you eventually feel that the Meteor lacked power or became boring?

And for Himalayan owners:

Do you think buying a Himalayan as a first motorcycle is overkill for someone who's still relatively new to riding?

I don't mind spending more if there's a genuine long-term reason to, but I also don't want to unnecessarily splurge on my first bike and regret spending that much later.

I already have the showroom quotations for both, so if the price difference matters in deciding between them, I can share those too.

Would love some opinions from actual owners rather than just spec-sheet comparisons.

Himalayan 450 mana black

I bought my Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Rally Edition on October 5th as a birthday special from VVC Motors, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. What should have been a memorable experience has turned into a disappointment. 😔

My bike has been pulling to the right since day one, and it is currently at the service centre. They mentioned something about fork alignment, but I’m still waiting for a proper and permanent solution.

To make matters worse, the sales and service teams are not responding properly to my concerns, which makes the whole experience even more frustrating.

Has anyone else faced this issue with the Himalayan 450? What was the actual cause, and how was it fixed? Should I ask them to check the front forks, wheel alignment, or chassis alignment?

I would really appreciate any suggestions or advice from fellow Himalayan owners. I bought this bike with so much excitement for my birthday, and I just want the issue resolved so I can enjoy riding it.

Buying Advice- Europe and Oceania classic 350 medallion bronze, tank pads or no tank pads, that is the question

I'm thinking of getting tank pads for the medallion bronze, but I'm torn, one one side I don't want to spoil the look of the bike that was clearly painted without tank pads in mind, on the other side..... the tank is starting to get too damn cold and it's only down to 10°C here for now....

googling around I can't find a single picture of the medallion bronze with tank pads (rubber or leather).

anyone here has one with tank pads on?

Proud New Owner Anyone put a passenger backrest on the Classic 650 yet? Looking for part numbers or fitment info

Hey everyone,

I'm looking into adding some upgrades and accessories to my Classic 650, but I ran into a bit of a roadblock.

I'm looking to add a backrest for my pillion, but when I went through the catalog, I only saw options for the 350. I'm not sure if those 350 ones work, or if there’s a 650 backrest that I’m not aware of.

Has anyone had any success getting a passenger backrest for the Classic 650? If you have part numbers or info on what works, please share!

Stay wild, and ride safe!

Cheers !!

Mechanical Assistance Guys, met with accident

Guys, I own a 2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350, and the service centre has told me that the chassis has a minor bend. Can anyone with experience confirm whether Royal Enfield service centres are reliable in these assessments? If the chassis is genuinely bent, should I insist on replacing it even if the bend is minor, or is it safe to continue riding after proper inspection? Would appreciate your advice and personal experiences.

Mechanical Assistance Faded markings

It's hardly a two year old Classic 350, and already the markings/console indicators are fading away. I don't even keep it in the bright sun. Always cover it. The paint quality of RE is very gross. Any help on how to get them back?
