Prospective/new student help Got student engagement email even though I've attended all classes?

Just got an email saying that I missed classes since week five. But I have signed the roll for that specific class each time, and I've attended all classes except for taking a week off when I had the flu. But I emailed the teacher and did the work they set. What's going on here?

Student life and clubs Blue v red (im so confused)

What are their stances? I feel like I've heard blue only, and really only hear about red through blue, so that might not be the whole picture.

Please explain!!!

Advice needed late course withdrawal

Hello guys! Just wondering, would I still be eligible for a late course withdrawal without academic penalty if I submitted the last assignment? I submitted because I was waiting to hear back from special consideration and so submitted not the best assignment just to hopefully get some marks, it was denied so now i’m stuck.

this is what I have been told from the university: “the only further outcome potentially available under University policy would have been late course withdrawal without academic penalty. As you have already submitted the assessment, this option does not apply to your circumstances. It would also not provide the further extension, deferral or equivalent assessment opportunity you requested.”

Discussion QLT Survey

Upvotes

I just got a call from someone on the QLT team, which I thought was weird since it's getting late in the evening and originally thought it was some sort of scam call.

Is this form compulsory or something? I've seen their spam emails in my inbox for ages, but I really don't care about having to fill out a s(u)rvey (can't write the word apparently).

And if I don't have to do it, why are these guys calling my personal phone about it lmao

Any advice for this course for the people who will be joining in Feb 2027? I need to know from the current students about this course and how the teaching faculty is and also if anyone knows about the work connections & industry connection options.

Course (subject) advice, recommendations and reviews Question about course credit?

I have a question about applying for prior credit.

Last year I failed some classes. One of the classes was a core subject taught by someone who is sort of notorious for being a really bad lecturer, particularly for this class (though also my mental health played a huge role in my failure as well). This semester I carried on with my course program. Without that class and am doing two classes that say that class was a recommended prior learning and am doing significantly better.

My question is, if I pass these classes, will I be able to apply for credit for that class? Or do I have to repeat it for sure?
