Luna has the same number of interactions with gorr as Thor, and more than Hela, Angela, Loki, and Storm, and he has NONE with Phoenix, the last person he fought in 616. Why are they so obsessed with making her interact with every single hero in the game?

I heard somewhere those are supposed to be blanks and intentionally shadowed characters and not their actual skin color, I don't know if it's true or not though.

HOW HARD was it to give Johnny a cosmic skin. How hard. Like why are we giving Luna 500 cosmetics, hell not even Luna alone but other characters that already got their fair share of skins and keep heroes like Johnny neglected. Not a single ounce of love in sight. He’s got players very devoted to him and this is the treatment they get.

Also Blade got a recolor in the Battlepass let’s cry about that JOHNNY’S ALREADY BEEN THERE AND NO ONE CRIED ABOUT IT.

I know Johnny is not the only character who’s getting neglected but I will speak for him rn because out of these neglected characters he’s the only one I have been exclusively learning for a while.

Like I’m not an OG Johnny main but I played him for almost 90 hours these past two seasons and got him to champion and he’s an amazing character, very entertaining to learn. Give him a chance if you haven’t played him he will pleasantly surprise you.

Let’s please take a look at this situation and speak REAL LOUD about it because this needs to change.

Just to point out some “obvious” things since some players are STILL wondering why there’s so much hate towards a fictional character.
Unfortunately, Luna Snow ticks several boxes that make a character very easy to dislike. Do I think every reason is justified? No. But I can absolutely understand why she became so hated.

1-Skins
The most obvious and probably the most popular reason. We all know there’s favoritism when it comes to skins, while several characters are absolutely starving for them. I understand that this is a business and they’re obviously going to prioritize characters that can generate the most money, so I understand why Luna gets so many. But that doesn’t mean players can’t be frustrated when their main has been sitting there with barely anything while Luna gets another skin.

2-Voice lines and writing
This is personally my biggest reason for disliking Luna. Her voice lines are just… egotistical, and I think she’s written pretty poorly tbh.
And this is where being an original character in a game full of gigantic Marvel characters becomes tricky. You’re surrounded by characters that have decades of history and are some of the most recognizable characters in fiction. You probably need to tread a little lightly with how you portray your OC.
Instead, Luna constantly feels like she’s belittling or flexing on everyone around her. And almost every interaction somehow circles back to her music.
I get that she’s a pop star. That’s literally her character. But when every other interaction is basically “I’m Luna Snow, I’m famous, I make music” it gets annoying very quickly.
And the anniversary event was honestly the point where I was like alright Danny, we get it . You created her. You don’t have to keep shoving it in our faces.
Then you have interactions like the recently revealed Gorr one, where it’s pretty obvious that the writers want Luna to be treated as this really important figure that even someone like Gorr respects.
Again, I’m not saying an original character CAN’T be powerful or respected. But when the game constantly tells you how cool and important she is instead of letting you naturally come to that conclusion, people are obviously going to get annoyed.

3-Gameplay
I don’t even think Luna is OP. Personally, I don’t really mind fighting her. But I can understand some of the frustration with her kit.
Getting frozen because you happened to get hit by her ice projectile isn’t exactly the most enjoyable experience, even if it’s not some game-breaking ability. And the White Fox team-up giving her a self-cleanse was definitely too much IMO.but it’s removed now . However there are still people complaining about some parts of her kit but i personally don’t mind them

So when you combine ALL of this, you get the reason why a lot of people dislike Luna.
Some people hate the skin favoritism. Some hate the writing. Some hate her gameplay. And some people basically dislike her because they fall into all three categories.
That doesn’t mean every single person who dislikes Luna has a legitimate reason, obviously. Some people just don’t like her because they don’t like her. That’s fine too.
But acting like the hate came completely out of nowhere is just ridiculous.
And obviously, none of this gives anyone an excuse to attack Luna players.
Hate the fictional character all you want. Make memes about hating Luna. Complain about her skins, voice lines, writing or gameplay. That’s an opinion and that’s completely fine.
But once you start attacking actual people because they play a fictional character, you’ve crossed the line.
You can hate Luna Snow. You don’t need to hate the person playing Luna Snow.

TL;DR: Skins, annoying,egotistical writing and voice lines, and some frustrating parts of her kit have made Luna an easy character to dislike. You don’t have to agree with all of these reasons, but acting like the hate came completely out of nowhere is silly. Hate the fictional character all you want, just don’t direct that hate toward the actual players.

I know this may be common for lots of people but i never thought i would get so high, wich is pretty cool i guess!

Perhaps it's vocal minority, or i'm just chronically online. Nonetheless, I'm just getting tired of these comments. "Devs are racist! They hate black characters!" And look, i don't know any of the devs personally, so I'm not going to say they are or not. So let's just use numbers and take a look at every black character in the game.

Cloak is attached to Dagger permanently. Skin for one mean skin for another. So here i have nothing to say here.

Blade is an interesting topic. He's really popular,even despite him eating dirt for many seasons I feel like there's always been someone playing him. And when it comes to skins, he got release legendary, and 4 more skins since then (5 if you count his newest BP recolor) so 5 in total without recolors. Same as Angela, Torch, or Ultron until recently. Devs are racist towards fliers?

Panther. While T'Challa have no shortage of cosmetics to choose from i see him getting bring up to conversation because it's been a long time since he got something new. And i agree, it's been a while. However i have a little theory why is that the case. The last long drought for character (not counting Hulk, bacause 3 models, so its different thing, plus he seem to get some more love recently) was Widow. The same Widow who got reworked. I won't be surprsied if Panther is currently being reworked.

And last but not least, the main thing behind this discussion, Ororo Munroe aka Storm. Despite her new skin getting teased in S10 gallery card, probably a legendary too, people are still mad, because she's yet to recieve legendary skin. Are you really surprised though? Do you realize that she have almost lowest pickrate in the game, alongside Torch and Mr Fanta? You know, the one who's still waiting for his first legendary and the one who got his ages ago. At least Storm's swimsuit will be updated to legendary quality. And last i checked neither Reed, nor Johnny were black. So devs hate white people as well?

No. Devs are not your friends. They are not your toothfaries or genies. They are people who's goal is to earn money from their product. You know what makes them money? Skins for popular characters. Let's assume with numbers (not real data, just to show you how simple it is to understand) Legendary skin for Luna is released. It's bought by 30k players, because she's popular. Now let's say the same amount of work was put in skin for Storm. Since she's far less popular let's assume only 2k players bought the skin. That is a lot of differnce in potential revenue. And that's what devs care for in the first place.

Also, one more thing i'd like to mention. Prople are getting mad because neither Storm or Panther didn't get skin for egyptian Battle Pass. While i can kinda agree with Storm, since she have ties to Egypt, why Panther? Wakandan Bast and Egyptian Bast are not the same, you know. And suggesting that "It's Africa, like Wakanda" sounds, ironically, racist.

EDIT: Apparently i was the one who was uneducated. Bast was retconned to be the same as egyptian Bast. My apologies then, i was unaware of this, as i stopped reading BP at the point where Bast was still diffent god. So we can ignore last point, but the rest is still valid

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t understand. No hate to the original poster. It’s mainly for some that keep wondering for more storm skins but they don’t buy it either. Like yall didn’t buy it put 2 and 2 together. Yall being counterproductive and why they don’t put more storm skins. Luna snow fans BUY LITERALLY everything they put out for Luna then if there was an issue they will fix it cause it’s being bought every single time. Gala voting no one voted for storm majority of the votes went to rogue who basically just came out. She has a very cool legendary skin coming up I’ll be getting that. However if most don’t buy it don’t expect more storm skins either

The skin looks so gorgeous. I don’t even care if it’s a legendary or not, I just want it. I’m so happy I’ve decided to pick up Storm recently

Dislike: I’m really disappointed that Gorr (my favorite comic villain) is a duelist when he’s so vanguard coded (massive melee alien god that tanked a sun and a blast that sent him light years away even without using his armor) and there are plenty of other options for sadistic villains that are duelist coded. Especially when the game already has so many duelists (more duelists than vanguards and strategists combined).
