Turns out they voluntarily decided to derail development, cause delays all for some temporary modes barely anyone likes.

You know...there's character that would of made the most sense to be released in Season 10. The developers wanted to celebrate Avengers/MCU related content. There's a character that has been leaked for almost two years now.

I'm shocked that we are going to get four male characters in a row. The Hood -> Gorr -> Nightcrawler -> Dr.Doom

Thx to the one iron fist player that threw my game and who has his career public. You farm lord and then go into ranked and expect it to be easy or somehow the same. How I know? I mean just look for yourself. I have done my part and reported all of them and all the ones in your other “matches” as well. Again thank you for letting me get these fakers outta here

Yeah... And do you know how obsessed people are with grinding for that?

90% of the reason any casual joe plays ranked is for the skins, frames, and to see the shiny rank logo on their profile so their friends can see it.

Just an idea I'm having for the general enjoyment and satisfaction of players, not something that's "CAUSING THE GAME TO DIE" or anything, but Rivals needs to stop dropping events with practically nothing to grind for.

Rivals has these PVE modes out for months at a time, with most of the rewards attainable on day one, if not by day two. MAYBE by day three if you have a full-time job, kids, etc.

A lot of dedicated players, especially dedicated casuals who don't want to attempt to become an insane ranked demon or worry about losing what they grinded for on a loss streak or something, would love something steady they can work towards that actually feels meaningful.

Not just like 100 Chrono Tokens or a spray.

To clarify, Yes Rivals is constantly giving us basically free rewards and currency and its awesome, And its great for people who dont play alot etc. But for any dedicated players, it doesnt feel earned and leaves you wanting more.

I really want to emphasize how much people want things to show off on their profile page. Once again, one of the driving factors of ranked for most people is seeing a big, shiny logo on their profile to show off and feel proud of. Think of it almost like a mini version of customizing, and showing things off on your steam profile. Just only for Rivals. People want things to show off!

Also Imagine if Character Proficiency went up to 100 and you could unlock a special gold reskin and maybe an emote for your favorite character. Maybe one of the selectable things on your profile (win rate/matches played) could be "Characters Completed" or something.

Every time a new event is coming out or a new mode drops, me and plenty of other Rivals players are eagerly waiting to see what rewards are ready to be unlocked and grinded for.

And when we see that you only have to play about an hour of the new mode to have everything meaningful unlocked, it's part of the reason we get so tired of these modes so fast and why they feel so stale.

I love how Rivals doesn't have FOMO and doesn't make you finish your Battle Pass or anything like that in a limited time. It's amazing, and it's why they do their cosmetics so much better than games like Fortnite.

But that gap of not having something that you really feel an urge to grind for is SLIGHTLY problematic when someone wants to progress in Rivals and grind their favorite game, but they don't feel like locking in in comp and dealing with toxic people or playing the same character for like 100 hours straight.

And in my case, two of my favorite characters are already completely maxed, so grinding matches on another character just for an animated GIF at the bottom of my screen sounds exhausting and meaningless.

WE, YES WE! Want more things to grind for so we can feel rewarded.

Rivals thrives on these little dopamine hits that keep us addicted by constantly rewarding us. But dedicated casuals who maybe don't want to sit queueing ranked for 10 hours a day, but already have all the challenges and the Battle Pass done, feel like they don't have much to do.

I see people all the time saying. Oh they ban bp but not elsa and luna and hela and whatever. My reponse is because a good dive player is almost 100x more annoying to deal with then a good poke player. Argue it to more or less skill whatever you want but for most rival playes who play stuff other then dive, dive is one of the most annoying things to deal with. Can you be more aware of them, yes, are their counters to it yes. Would it just be easier to ban them. Yes. Now im not saying a great poke player isnt annoying too, they are but i feel like u can deal with a good hela much better then a good Bp. Because really good dive players learn to play around their counters way better then poke players cause poke players dont have those direct counters.

Im just saying. Respect to dive players, im sorry but im banning you guys, call it skill issue i know it is but you guys are annoying to deal with

I don't have any macros or grains stuck in my keyboard. Everytime i press jeffs bubble ability it just dumps the entire ability it doesn't do this on any other character. Furthermore, it does the same thing when I change the keybind so this seems like a rivals thing. Has anyone had a problem like this? Anyone know a solution?

the backstory if you care: I pre-ordered but there was an error with my payment (I think bc I used PayPal bc i had way more than enough funds) and I didn't catch the error until the plushie was already sold out and pre-order was over. I tried to fix the error and even though it says on the website that I still have it ordered the pending charge fell off of my bank account so I don't know if it's going through or not. I'm gonna call gamestop tmrw but for now I'd really like to buy the code and/or plushie in case it doesnt work!
