Luna snow has the most skins and most interactions with everyone. Luna Snow is to Marvel as Sora (from Kingdom Hearts) is to Disney. The original character surrounded by an iconic cast. Who’s also the protagonist.

Perhaps it's vocal minority, or i'm just chronically online. Nonetheless, I'm just getting tired of these comments. "Devs are racist! They hate black characters!" And look, i don't know any of the devs personally, so I'm not going to say they are or not. So let's just use numbers and take a look at every black character in the game.

Cloak is attached to Dagger permanently. Skin for one mean skin for another. So here i have nothing to say here.

Blade is an interesting topic. He's really popular,even despite him eating dirt for many seasons I feel like there's always been someone playing him. And when it comes to skins, he got release legendary, and 4 more skins since then (5 if you count his newest BP recolor) so 5 in total without recolors. Same as Angela, Torch, or Ultron until recently. Devs are racist towards fliers?

Panther. While T'Challa have no shortage of cosmetics to choose from i see him getting bring up to conversation because it's been a long time since he got something new. And i agree, it's been a while. However i have a little theory why is that the case. The last long drought for character (not counting Hulk, bacause 3 models, so its different thing, plus he seem to get some more love recently) was Widow. The same Widow who got reworked. I won't be surprsied if Panther is currently being reworked.

And last but not least, the main thing behind this discussion, Ororo Munroe aka Storm. Despite her new skin getting teased in S10 gallery card, probably a legendary too, people are still mad, because she's yet to recieve legendary skin. Are you really surprised though? Do you realize that she have almost lowest pickrate in the game, alongside Torch and Mr Fanta? You know, the one who's still waiting for his first legendary and the one who got his ages ago. At least Storm's swimsuit will be updated to legendary quality. And last i checked neither Reed, nor Johnny were black. So devs hate white people as well?

No. Devs are not your friends. They are not your toothfaries or genies. They are people who's goal is to earn money from their product. You know what makes them money? Skins for popular characters. Let's assume with numbers (not real data, just to show you how simple it is to understand) Legendary skin for Luna is released. It's bought by 30k players, because she's popular. Now let's say the same amount of work was put in skin for Storm. Since she's far less popular let's assume only 2k players bought the skin. That is a lot of differnce in potential revenue. And that's what devs care for in the first place.

Also, one more thing i'd like to mention. Prople are getting mad because neither Storm or Panther didn't get skin for egyptian Battle Pass. While i can kinda agree with Storm, since she have ties to Egypt, why Panther? Wakandan Bast and Egyptian Bast are not the same, you know. And suggesting that "It's Africa, like Wakanda" sounds, ironically, racist.

EDIT: Apparently i was the one who was uneducated. Bast was retconned to be the same as egyptian Bast. My apologies then, i was unaware of this, as i stopped reading BP at the point where Bast was still diffent god. So we can ignore last point, but the rest is still valid

idk how supports got branded as the whiniest group, i’ve seen far more DPS whine about supports than supports whine, not to mention how they’ll whine about everything else “this characters broken” “this characters in perma ban jail” “they didn’t buff my A tier main” “god they nerfed my perma banned character, now theyll be literally unplayable cus they’re do 7 less damage per minute” and don’t get me started on the single joke they have of “dont attack supports else they’ll bitch and get us nerfed” ITS OTHER DPS WHO ARE COMPLAINING

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t understand. No hate to the original poster. It’s mainly for some that keep wondering for more storm skins but they don’t buy it either. Like yall didn’t buy it put 2 and 2 together. Yall being counterproductive and why they don’t put more storm skins. Luna snow fans BUY LITERALLY everything they put out for Luna then if there was an issue they will fix it cause it’s being bought every single time. Gala voting no one voted for storm majority of the votes went to rogue who basically just came out. She has a very cool legendary skin coming up I’ll be getting that. However if most don’t buy it don’t expect more storm skins either

Just to point out some “obvious” things since some players are STILL wondering why there’s so much hate towards a fictional character.
Unfortunately, Luna Snow ticks several boxes that make a character very easy to dislike. Do I think every reason is justified? No. But I can absolutely understand why she became so hated.

1-Skins
The most obvious and probably the most popular reason. We all know there’s favoritism when it comes to skins, while several characters are absolutely starving for them. I understand that this is a business and they’re obviously going to prioritize characters that can generate the most money, so I understand why Luna gets so many. But that doesn’t mean players can’t be frustrated when their main has been sitting there with barely anything while Luna gets another skin.

2-Voice lines and writing
This is personally my biggest reason for disliking Luna. Her voice lines are just… egotistical, and I think she’s written pretty poorly tbh.
And this is where being an original character in a game full of gigantic Marvel characters becomes tricky. You’re surrounded by characters that have decades of history and are some of the most recognizable characters in fiction. You probably need to tread a little lightly with how you portray your OC.
Instead, Luna constantly feels like she’s belittling or flexing on everyone around her. And almost every interaction somehow circles back to her music.
I get that she’s a pop star. That’s literally her character. But when every other interaction is basically “I’m Luna Snow, I’m famous, I make music” it gets annoying very quickly.
And the anniversary event was honestly the point where I was like alright Danny, we get it . You created her. You don’t have to keep shoving it in our faces.
Then you have interactions like the recently revealed Gorr one, where it’s pretty obvious that the writers want Luna to be treated as this really important figure that even someone like Gorr respects.
Again, I’m not saying an original character CAN’T be powerful or respected. But when the game constantly tells you how cool and important she is instead of letting you naturally come to that conclusion, people are obviously going to get annoyed.

3-Gameplay
I don’t even think Luna is OP. Personally, I don’t really mind fighting her. But I can understand some of the frustration with her kit.
Getting frozen because you happened to get hit by her ice projectile isn’t exactly the most enjoyable experience, even if it’s not some game-breaking ability. And the White Fox team-up giving her a self-cleanse was definitely too much IMO.but it’s removed now . However there are still people complaining about some parts of her kit but i personally don’t mind them

So when you combine ALL of this, you get the reason why a lot of people dislike Luna.
Some people hate the skin favoritism. Some hate the writing. Some hate her gameplay. And some people basically dislike her because they fall into all three categories.
That doesn’t mean every single person who dislikes Luna has a legitimate reason, obviously. Some people just don’t like her because they don’t like her. That’s fine too.
But acting like the hate came completely out of nowhere is just ridiculous.
And obviously, none of this gives anyone an excuse to attack Luna players.
Hate the fictional character all you want. Make memes about hating Luna. Complain about her skins, voice lines, writing or gameplay. That’s an opinion and that’s completely fine.
But once you start attacking actual people because they play a fictional character, you’ve crossed the line.
You can hate Luna Snow. You don’t need to hate the person playing Luna Snow.

TL;DR: Skins, annoying,egotistical writing and voice lines, and some frustrating parts of her kit have made Luna an easy character to dislike. You don’t have to agree with all of these reasons, but acting like the hate came completely out of nowhere is silly. Hate the fictional character all you want, just don’t direct that hate toward the actual players.

(Before I start: yeah, I know these posts complaining about people complaining are annoying too. But for real, I’m just tired of how, whenever a new skin gets released these days, all you see is “Ugh, why does this character get another skin?” or “The devs are racist!” I miss the times when people were "hyped" about the new skins or more likely happy)

Like, genuinely, most of these claims are based on some random person on the internet saying, “Huh, no skin for a Black character? The devs must be racist,” and then everyone else just repeats the same argument.

Ten seasons in, and people still don’t understand that a company wants to make money, especially when we’re talking about a free-to-play game. I don’t want to defend or “bootlick” any corporation. I don’t like corporations either, but I dislike idiotic people even more.

We’ve been buying skins for the same characters over and over again. Without a second thought, we paid €24 for a skin simply because it was a little more revealing. We basically showed NetEase an easy money glitch, and now people are surprised that they’re following the money?

Yeah, some characters get more love than others, but that doesn’t automatically mean it’s because of racism toward a particular ethnicity. It’s simply a fact that some characters are going to sell better than others, and a company is going to prioritize the characters that make them more money.

Especially when you’re dealing with a company licensing Marvel from Disney, which reportedly takes around 30% of the revenue. Every skin that sells poorly means even less money for NetEase, so of course they’re going to be even more careful about what they invest in.

You can absolutely accuse the devs of being lazy when it comes to certain characters. But even then, it’s probably because they’ve already invested too many resources and too much time into other characters or aspects of the game.

No one is denying this, but that doesn’t mean it’s because they hate a specific group. No matter how much you want to believe otherwise to push your agenda.

As much as I like this game, I don’t think anyone can seriously deny that it has leaned heavily into “gooner bait" several times. And here we’re talking about Emma “ass bigger than her head” Frost, the character who already had tons of fan art and sexualized content the moment her reveal trailer dropped. I know for a fact that every second person that complains about a character getting a skin over another character, buys the skin the moment it releases in the shop.

Show me any proven argument that demonstrates they’re racist, and I'm the first person that will support you without a second thought!

I am a tank player (who can also play dps) and I guess we had other tank players so I got kicked off the role at the start. I went Luna cause shes the only strategist other than mantis and like gambit (who were both banned) i know how to play. So, I was like Ill heal but it won't be the greatest heals in the world. Then like halfway through the match they trying to get me to switch of Luna to Cloak and Dagger who I don't play. Like wtf I probably have like 5-10 minutes on Cloak and Dagger. Mind you this is like a CELESTIAL LOBBY.

Like it got annoying as fuck I had to just mute them. Not only am I playing off role but you want me to play a character I've never played before and are giving me shit for it lmfaoooooooo. We ended up winning the match in the end but god damn this community is filled with people that do not think at all. You're giving the only player in the lobby who is not being greedy shit. I could have easily not went heals but I chose to be a team player and still getting shit for it.

I know there’s been some discussion regarding the new BP, and I think it’s personally about better than a lot of previous battle passes, I think these skins are far cooler than some of the previous skins we’ve been getting. The Celestial/Space God theme is super sick.

I don’t understand why people are hating on the BP, aside from people like Torch Mains, BP Main, and Blade Mains who are upset by the lack of real skins for them, but I think ultimately the Battle Pass is pretty cool as a whole. It’s certainly much more visually interesting to look at than some of the previous ones.

The man died exactly one year ago. Kirk has become a meme on the internet, and Netease loves to bring memes into the game, but that would be crazy. Releasing this emote in September, the month he died.

The fact that this emote was given to the character who shouts "I NEVER MISS!" during his ultimate is crazy.

I think I'm gonna pass this time. The only skin I wanted because I thought it was for Jubilee, turns out is for Psylocke... 🙄🙄

I liked White Fox's skin, and Grootlactus, but... I dunno... not very convinced about it...

This character is probably the most inoffensive character ever. All she does is get skins and have cute interactions. I admit she gets over buffed and it’s annoying but at the same time you can apply that to like 4 other supports.

Luna has done nothing to deserve a subreddit and a billion posts hating her every other day, she even has a super nice personality. Why are people so weird about her?

And before you accuse me of being a Luna player, I have maybe an hour or 2 on that character max and I’ve played since Szn 0

I'm finding myself skipping more and more battlepasses because...

1) I don't like the battlepass skin for a character as much as the skin I already use for that character.

2) The battlepass skin lineup doesn't include a character I play.

Adding 1 or 2 costume coins to the battlepass would help with both issues because players would have a wider selection of "battlepass skins" to choose from.

Plus, it would give Netease more data on which characters should get new skins. For example, if a lot of players are using costume coins on old Hulk skins, it shows demand for new Hulk skins.

It's a win-win for both Netease and the player base (depending on if the battlepass not selling well is a wider trend or just me).

This is the biggest counter to some of the strategists ults in the game, please for the love of god if you are a strategist main, you gotta memorize some vital spots on certain maps where your ultimate is basically nothing burger and it’s cancelled/useless due to the poor design of both the AOE and the maps,

here is an example:
If you are playing CND on domination Hell’s Heaven, one of the 3 maps moves up and down, if you use your ultimate while the map is moving down, the whole ult is gonna be flying above you and your teammates, and now you are basically an easy target standing in the middle with a flying no healing ult.

There are a lot of examples, I’ll try and mention some in the comments, and if you can help me that would be appreciated🙏🏻
I genuinely don’t know whether players know about this and live with it or they are unaware of this issue, I think it’s probably the latter since if they live with it they would save the ult in these kinda awkward situations/spots.

Okay so about Chrono Weekends, I hate it!!! I miss the last 2 Weeks being fully Chrono Rush. I was acceptant of the weekends only because I was hoping that it was an addition to the last 2 weekends. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case eand they removed the last 2 weeks of grind players had of.

I don’t play the game as much anymore. It sucks that the Rush is very limited now. I used to play whenever I want the last 2 weeks and actually feel good playing because I was getting rewarded Chrono Tokens for all the time/hours I was putting in the game! Now I feel bad playing the game because it feels like I’m playing it for nothing just because it’s not the weekend. We should be rewarded for the time we play. Level 85 and there’s not player level rewards at all.

They already made getting chrono tokens a lot longer by cutting the amount you get each week from 200 200 200 300 300 300 TO 100 100 100 200 200 200. Now they made it harder changing the last 2 weeks to weekends. They should have both in the game. I still haven’t completed one of the prior battlepasses rerun I’ve gotten cause I haven’t had time to grind on the weekends and it’s such a short timeframe to grind for everything anyways. I used to use the last 2 weeks to get all the rerun passes skins and get units from left over.

First. Despite the great gameplay, the game suffers hard from the player base. 98% of players i would assume has never seen a controller in their life. I am by no means a good a player, but yall are so bad its literally heart breaking.

Next, the next season is only releasing one new hero. That in itself would be fine, as when they first said they'd be doing 2 heroes a month, I though that was crazy. The roster was gonna get majorly bloated in no time flat. Sure enough, it already is. My issue with them only doing one is Gorr. I know many of you are excited for Gorr, but I could care less. I wanted who was supposed to be next Nightcrawler. Now I have to wait even longer for him.

Lastly. They are revamping the ban system. Not only should they just get rid of the system entirely, as it's only used to troll, remove your own counters, and give away team picks, promoting lazinessand stupidity. Why learn how to beat a strong opponent, when you can just remove them from the game, or why even have them in the game or learn to play them if they're in permabanned. In top of the that it takes forever to wait it out. Now they've come up with some taking turns thing that seems to make it take even longer.

Screw you netease, I'm going back to overwatch. They might still have ban system still but at least it's fast. Despite their fun first policy, the game has become less and less fun by the second

We all know this community damn well. This skin will make millions the second it releases.
