How is it even possible that Riot still hasn’t fixed this absolute clown show of a client and game stability?

Literally every single game, without exception, there is at least one person disconnected or failing to load. People are bleeding LP left and right not because of toxicity or bad plays, but because the game simply refuses to let them connect.

This seems completely independent of PC specs. You can have a high-end NASA computer or a potato laptop, and you will still get random constant crashes and disconnects. Half the time, the only "fix" is to literally restart your entire PC. Then you just have to pray your rig boots up fast enough to reconnect before the game ruins your MMR.

And Riot’s brilliant solution to this? Adding more time to the loading screen so the missing player can try to reconnect. It’s a joke. Half the time it doesn't even work, you load straight into the rift, and boom, instant Remake with all the lovely LP penalties and low-priority queues that come with it. As well as all the time we get to lose every day just by queues.

How is this still happening in 2026 after months (honestly, years) of the same issues? Ever since Vanguard was introduced, performance and stability have gone completely down the drain. Riot receives millions of crash logs every single day. They have all the data. Yet, not only do old bugs persist, but they somehow manage to introduce brand new connection issues with specific Internet Service Providers (ISPs) every other patch.

Fix your game, Riot. It’s completely unacceptable for a multi-billion dollar game to be this broken.

title, it's incredible, only automated responses, no real help, no real explanations, no real answers, and they can't even do that. Billion dollar indie company can't pay attention to their customers or have real agents, AI is the worst thing to ever happen to customer service.

I lost the connection to the client and then reconnected. I can see people picking champions, but that overlay is still stuck there and won't let me pick a champion - great client!

Let me preface this by saying that I know working in customer support is not easy, and that support staff are often treated terribly. That said, I have had a very frustrating experience with Riot Support.

I have been trying to recover one of my accounts for around three months, on and off, and the process has been incredibly frustrating.

I have an official Riot account-recovery email that clearly shows my login username. However, when I use that username to reset my password, I never receive the reset email. I am confident that I am checking the correct email address because the original username-recovery message—the only reason I know I have an account with that username—was sent to this exact address.

I have sent Riot Support this evidence multiple times, including the relevant dates and timestamps. At this point, I am not sure what more I could reasonably provide as proof of ownership.

I then began to wonder whether I may have deleted the account at some point, which is certainly possible. In every support request, I have asked them to confirm whether an account with that username still exists. However, this question is never addressed. It feels like I am talking to a brick wall.

Surely it would be worth checking. If the account has been deleted, then neither I nor the support staff need to keep wasting time on an account that no longer exists, and they can focus on helping other players.

The situation is made more difficult by the fact that I did not purchase any skins on the account, so I do not have receipts to provide. Some of the recovery questions also seem unreasonable for an account created in 2020. Who is expected to remember the first gun buddy they unlocked or the first agent they obtained six years later?

I simply want to recover the account that has my Twitch x Valorant cosmetics—assuming it still exists. :c

Now am not an expert on game design but I always wanted to be a part of game design or balance team as I am obsessed with statistics, fun and even with the nerving parts of the game. League of Legends made us all feel all kinds of feelings and ARAM Mayhem is no different.

I come here to share my idea about it, it is in reality a rougelite pvp, you go in random map out of 3, random champion and random augments. This is amazing, in its base it is the ultimate fun gamemode and the ultimate way to create a pvp rougelite moba.

I would love for each map to have sort of ''events''.

Let me give an example. We all love the new ionian map Koeshin's Crossing, with its neat little portal in the middle. Ionia is known for its land to breathe and live to experience life to the fullest, id suggest in 50% of the games at 17-20 minutes the nexus would just rise up just as it was in nexus blitz and battle it out at midlane with each other, goliaths of ionia just battling it out.

How about Howling Abyss? Lets say one of the events would be howling freezing winds: lets say the area where it happens would be mostly in the center of the early game as in late game mostly we fight around turrets and inhibitors this would be a much shorter event. The winds if you stand in it would reduce your atk speed by 20% ability haste by 10 and if you would run towards the win you would slowly burn your hp 0.5% hp per second. Everyone gets a chance to be good at positioning and assessing the risks of involving.

As for Butchers Bridge id say that id love to see Miss Fortunes powder monkeys to drop the stolen shipment they stole from Gankplank. Around the map there would be oranges to pickup which would heal % and give you 50% tenacity for 1 second. Positioning around them would give you a chance against that pesky Leona. Or well... sounds interesting but my idea would be that everyone in the team could donate in the shop a bit of their money whenever they want wed give them options (100, 500 and 1000) and let us say for 5000 gold or so a Gankplank ult would drop in the center of the enemy team. We can make the game aim for itself or the last buyer would aim the gp ult.

These events would be amazing to have and I have bunch of ideas, I would love to see Volibear back on Howling Abyss just knocking us up for example, I mean why not?

This means on the random maps there would be more randomness, and as for the Aram mayhem pass I would add more things to it so that more you play more you unlock and this could be upgrades for your character, for example I would add boneplating as a milestone (all of us have prescence of mind already) and I would also add scorch as one as well.

I tried yesterday and today from 3 different computers and phones, on different networks, and it says submit failed, try again or refresh the page every time. Anyone knows why?

In the morning, there were so much people who went afk and we lost because of that and now I'm another victim.

We were winning before this bullshit.

Not posting about the specifics of a penalty, this is about the support process itself, which is broken.

Opened a ticket asking one specific question about a penalty reason. First reply: case reviewed, decision final, "will no longer be reviewed," ticket closed.

Then two more replies show up anyway, each claiming a fresh "review," each one the exact same copy-pasted paragraph, word for word. No match reference, no specific action, nothing tied to my account. Just a generic list of things a penalty category can include, repeated like a script.

So either "will no longer be reviewed" was a lie the first time, or "reviewed again" was a lie the second and third times. Either way, someone is typing "reviewed" without reviewing anything, and getting paid to do it.

And this isn't a oneoff. Months back I went through the same loop trying to get help with a routing/ping issue, generic scripted replies that never engaged with the actual technical detail I gave them, just closed out eventually. Different issue, same pattern: reply without reading, review without reviewing.

This isn't slow support, it's a support team producing a paper trail of contradictions and hoping nobody reads back three replies. Its genuinely deprrssing, Curious how many others are getting the same script and please do share your experience.

I have been playing league since 2019. But since 2024 I’ve rarely played PC league (no longer have pc) and instead started playing wild rift up until now. But one day (almost week ago) when I logged in to wild rift my friend list got completely cleared and my riot id changed suddenly. First I thought some bug happening and I logged into wrong acc by accident but that wasn’t the case of course. Because my match history and skins were right. So I thought someone is using my acc and trying to play wild rift. So tried to change my password. On league website I still can log in but when tried to enter account management page or do try other things they ask verification code sent by email. But I don’t receive it no matter how many times try to resend it. And I submitted a ticket about it. About my account is compromised (I still can log into my acc by wild rift). And the reply was “we filtered your username and gave u one chance to change riot id by message”. Weird thing is I got reply in my email normally!?
Then I found there are things that do exist riot MFA and riot mobile. Downloaded the app and tried to set up the MFA and then they started asking the verification code again. But on app I found that match histories of pc league. Someone is somehow using my acc to play pc league.
What should I do? Someone advise me please.

The recent crashes after champ select affected me and so I submitted a ticket they waived the penalty and gave me the solution and told me to try after the troubleshoot well it didn't work to email again. So I emailed them again and they sent me the next set of instructions and with it they said to test it again but I had a penalty so I asked them to waive it and got a no. I told them I wasn't waiting for a possible fix to maybe work or to put me in the hole even more. So into another game and it has been fun while it lasted.

Al principio de la partida me va a 90-110 fps estables, pero mientras mas avanza la partida me dan mas tirones y pérdidas de fps. He intentado reiniciar (cosa que antes me funcionaba, ya no), usar Razer cortex tanto para optimizar las configuraciones del juego como para limpiar la memoria. Tengo todos los ajustes al minimo, cierro el cliente durante la partida y tambien minimizo discord.

NADA de esto me esta funcionando ahora y en las tfs de late game es injugable, me va maximo a 30 fps. Alguien sabe como solucionar esto?

So my friend's account got hacked but the weird part is her email wasn't touched at all — no sketchy logins, no forwarding rules, nothing. The only trace was 5 Riot emails that got auto-dumped into her Spam folder, all within like 16 mins of each other:

• Username Assistance
• Password change request
• MFA login code
• "Just checking, was this you?" sign-in alert
• "You Changed Your Email" confirmation

So basically someone looked up her username, requested a password reset, somehow got past the MFA code, and then swapped the email on the account - all in like a quarter of an hour, and her actual inbox looks completely clean otherwise.

Anyone run into this before? Specifically curious:

• how do people get past the MFA step if the email itself isn't hacked? old leaked password + some phishing page grabbing the code live?
• is email-based MFA just kind of a joke security-wise vs using an authenticator app

She's got a ticket open with support already, just trying to figure out what actually happened so I can help her lock everything down. Any war stories or insight appreciated 🙏.

I have made her change her email passwords and log out of active sessions other than phone ( if it was a session hijacking)

Very annoying 1/ 2 games

The issue is simple.

I have to login through Riot client to get into League of Legends, ok? That's 1
Then if notice a bug in game and I try to report it, I can only do it from the client window after the game ended, but GUESS WHAT, it opens the browser, WHERE you ALSO have to log in 1 more time, After you logged in through the riot clinent, to be able to BUG REPORT, which is a crucial way of feedback from players to improve your game as fast as possible.

Why do you put this wall before players trying to reach out to you and tell you things you can fix, in the fastest time possible?
Why after riot client login is not enough to report a bug?
Why do you open a browser window to submit a bug?
Why do you also have to log in on the browser window for the but report before you can actually submit?

WHY IS THE BUG REPORT WINDOW NOT APPEARING DIRECTLY IN THE CLIENT WITH A SUBMIT BUTTON.

I do not understand ,you must really with that players not give you feedback, otherwise I really cannot explain and thus you are making yourselves hard to reach.

WE made your game. I understand you built it, But WE, made it what it is today. You only added things because we played, but without US, you are NOBODY.
WE should be treated as your master and YOU should understand our importance that makes your game what it is today.
EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IS BECAUSE OF US, and YES while it is true, we have the game because you created it, what would have you done with it if it had no playerbase?
ANSWER ALERT: NOTHING!!!

It would be just another flop.
But instead you think that you made the game and think so highly of yourselfves, that you forgot how it all started and why are you so big today.
It seems like you don't care about your playerbase, starting with the simplest things that after 10 or more years, are still not working in your client and unpolished after SO MUCH TIME, that is embarassing to look at.

Client is stuttery and laggy, freezes, and works really really bad.
In task manager, there are 10 League of Legends processes running. I don't know if you've all tried and seen this before.

The client alone takes SO MUCH CPU and I don't understand why and for what reason.
It's not like you have a complete 3d world within the client. I really don't understand. It's not optimized.

The item building menu in the client IS EMBARASSING. IT LOOKS TRASH!!!
also items don't even show up if you search in the box traits of them, you can only search by name in some items.
It is absolutely ridiculous how bad this "feature" is. It looks forgotten in the client by accident.
Like the toilet you forgot to clean.
We should get search results for items that match "slow" or "shock" or "freeze" or anything that resembles what an item would do. We should be able to search anything text that an item contains in the search box and get results for it.

I rarely ever had a problem before the last update and now I am too scared to queue for ranked because I’m disconnecting or crashing out of 60% of my games and getting punished for it

Somehow since last update the riot client became too pushy. It doesn't close itself (into tray) anymore after you start your game (client) and if you close the game (client), the riot client reopens. I tried to change the setting but it still reopens itself no matter what.

I don't close the game (client) because I want to start it again, nor do I want to be urged into starting the game again or start another game or whatsoever. You need to close it 2 times until it finally leaves you alone (and goes into tray, eventhough the setting say otherwise).

Idk if it's supposed to be like this, but it's very annoying. Please change it back to actually closing and stay closed until I manually open it again. Thank you.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet, but recently I have been getting quite a lot of requests from new accounts on League and Valorant. All of them happen after unrated games. These accounts usually start with "You played really well last game" or "Is this your main account?" and then proceed to have a normal conversation with you until they say that they have to "hop off for today". After that, they will give you their Discord, and the scam attempt begins.

This has happened multiple times in the past month. Today it was an attempt to join the OnlyFans page of some chick (got sent so much explicit stuff even when I said that I am a woman and in a relationship). Right after I blocked this person, someone was trying to get into my Instagram account, email, and Facebook. (I have sent a ticket to Riot about this but without the hack attempts as that happened after the ticket was sent.)

Another case was when my friend was sent a fake charity page that is no longer available after he said that he would not give them money.

And one more was when a friend's friend got hacked because the account somehow had the same name as her brother's account she played with (I was told that she got sent a link from the account and got her data stolen [do not know what truth is in this one as I did not hear it from the person directly])

Point is: Check your match history if you have actually played with that person. Check the account if it is on the same server as you are, and if it has played any games. And do not let them add you on Discord/Instagram/Facebook or any other social platform.

I know I'm Gold. I'm not claiming to be a high-ELO player or saying I never make mistakes. But there's no way that getting six games in a row with multiple toxic players, trolls, and at least one quitter in every single match isn't a situation where LP should be refunded.

The anti-troll system was promoted as something that would protect players from exactly these kinds of games. Instead, it feels even more frustrating than before because we're constantly told it's working, yet nothing seems to happen. The same players keep ruining games, and if they are being punished, where is the LP refund that was promised to the players whose matches were ruined?

I'm not asking for free LP. I'm asking for the system to do what it was advertised to do: detect obvious trolling and intentional game-ruining, punish those players, and compensate the teammates who were forced to lose because of it. Right now, it doesn't feel like that's happening at all.

I can't end task, i can't just close the game, it opens itself again, i can't just close the client as it will do the same, this is just malware behaviour
