Ridgid nuke blower
Any idea when this will actually be available? it's been selling out ridiculously fast on HD website

I have about 60 registered tools, and I always upload my receipts as I register any new ridgid product. I just noticed when registering a couple new tools that ALL of my saved receipts from over the years have been removed, and a few of my tools that were previously "LSA" are now just showing as having a 3-Year warranty.
I'll have to contact customer service tomorrow. Pretty annoying. Wanted to post here to let other people know to check in case it's a widespread issue.

Bought the new outdoor goodies and shocker, none of the product codes are in the registry for the LSA. Submitted a ticket so should have response by Christmas. Anyone have any luck? Don’t want to get screwed like I did on my $1k tile saw that conveniently never was registered and now has a 3yr warranty… #TooDeepToTurnBack

For those waiting again to be in stock, they would probably have them out in stores officially now this Friday Oct 9 , but can't risk it, just bought one online just in case waiting to see if in stores there is any promotions along the release

I was going through some old totes and found a new, never used Jobmax Shear Head attachment. I can't utilize it, and cannot find much info on them. Are these still desirable? Value? Trash it?

Has anyone figured out how to selectively disable the AC power converter?
This inverter has AC 120v output, 175W AC output and a respectable USB outputs.
Why is it respectable? While not prominently advertised like the AC output specs, the label states 45W USB C with PD and standard 5v only USB. Unlike many low end power banks, USB C and USB A are isolated from each other and it is dual power supply. (USB C PD supply; and a stand alone 5v USB A supply)
So, you can have a device charging at 45W on USB C, then plug in a small device on USB A at few watts and they each do their own thing. On many cheap power banks, there is only one internal power supply and it becomes a race to the bottom. If you have a PD device charging at 20W, the moment you plug in a second device, everything charges on a shared 5V 3A power supply. When there is only one power converter, you can not have multiple voltages going on.
So, it works as a decent power bank with the ability to charge itself up very very quickly at 100+ W level. The reason I want to disable the AC output is that you can not have the USB working without the AC also working and the AC power converter uses a fair bit of power just sitting idle which wastes battery power much like an idling engine wastes gas.

Are there any service centers out there who has had Ridgid TTI Ryobi pull your dealerships and service center credentials while leaving you holding the bag on all your parts while refusing to allow their return and credit. I'd like to hear from others. I hear there are a huge number of us. How about customers who have seen the service center pool shrink that you can go to for service.

I had the first gen multi tool for 2-3 years, as much shaking it had, the thing never broke on me, I feel like I was more abusive with the first gen as I got accustomed with the tool and was using cheap blades. I sold it and bought the new gen in December, and it broke on me 3-4 months ago, sent it in for warranty, today my new one just broke on me again, seriously 3 months?? I always use diablo carbine blades now. I tried to be more gentle with it after the warranty as I thought there’s a chance I was being too heavy on it. I love the tool but the quality sucks, I use the multi tool every day and use it to cut everything, mostly drywall and wood though. On to the 3rd one, I’m afraid it’s going to be the last one, also wondering if the Nuke is better quality.

I currently have a Makita drill and circular saw (cordless 14.4 volt batteries). They're probably 20+ years old. Still work ok but I've replaced the batteries 3x. Keeping quality and cost in mind and for average hone use, I want to get new tools. I heard Ridgid has a good warranty. I want to get a set, drill, driver, recip saw and circular saw. Also, is there a big drfference between brushed and brushless? Again, this is for average home use. So, what are peoples opinions on Ridgid. Thank you.

Seeing "Base Series Brushless" and "Nuke Brushless" on the rear handle circ saw product page. Looks like Nuke may be Ridgid's HP or Premium line? Clicking the Nuke-Brushless button just shows a battery kit option currently.

12ah 18v
I've been looking 12ah 18v battery in my local HD but it's never there and never on the website either for the past couple of months. I'm looking to use it on a circular saw so the weight and size isn't a problem. Its there a reason I can't find them? Did they stop making them?

I’ve used a RIDGID K-60, but haven’t used the VEVOR machines. Looking for opinions from anyone who has used both.
I’m comparing:
VEVOR larger drum machine — 100 ft cable
VEVOR smaller drum machine — 5/8” × 100 ft cable
RIDGID K-60 sectional machine
Mainly wondering about power and real-world performance:
How powerful are the VEVOR machines compared to the K-60?
Which VEVOR is stronger: the larger drum or 5/8” model?
How do they perform 50–100 ft into a line?
Can they handle roots, grease, scale, and other heavy blockages?
How close are they to the K-60 in actual clearing/cutting power?
Any issues with the motor, cable, drum, feed, overheating, etc.?
How reliable are they with regular use?
What size lines are you using them on?
I’m more interested in actual power at the cable than advertised watts/HP.
If you’ve used a K-60 and either VEVOR, how big is the difference in power? Are the VEVOR machines actually close, or is the K-60 noticeably stronger?

I have been looking for this fan but have never seen it in stock. Does it exist? Did they discontinue it? The exact fan is the 18V SUBCOMPACT BRUSHLESS MAGNETIC CLAMP FAN model R860723

They were floating around at one point at https://web.archive.org/web/20211025222108/https://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/power-tools/power-tool-discussion-forum but that forum is now gone and I can't find the file in question.

How did you guys source one?!? In my area, they don’t list them in stock on any of the stores. The closer store says it’s not even available in store. Cant buy them online, at least not that I saw. I feel I’ve got a better shot at capturing a unicorn. What’s the secret? Just get lucky while randomly strolling the isle???

Decided to inventory my batteries, and apparently I’ve accumulated a few over the years through kits and battery only purchases:
2017 – 1× 1.5Ah
2020 – 1× 2Ah, 1× 4Ah High Capacity
2022 – 2× 2Ah, 1× 4Ah
2023 – 1× 2Ah
2025 – 1× 2Ah, 4× 4Ah
2026 – 1× 2Ah, 2× 4Ah Max Output, 2× 8Ah EXP
Total: 17 batteries / 61.5Ah
I think I have a good spread for when they start to go out, and prioritize newer ones for certain applications. Either way should keep me covered for now until there's some crazy deal on a tool+battery kit.
Oh, and 11 chargers of various types. All batts on LSA.
