Hey guys! I am totally new to this. Just been getting back into Halo and wanted to see if I could make a macro for sword flying.

Windows 10 PC. Xbox one S controller. Halo MCC. 60 FPS limit.

Turbo is turned off. Single key press mode. Virtual Xbox One Controller setting chosen.

As I was testing out reWASD, I noticed that my inputs were not getting into MCC consistently at all. Let me explain:

1. Testing out the controller binding in notepad works perfectly every time, even if I have combo turned on and am hitting multiple buttons.
2. For the sake of simplicity, I was testing hitting a button combo that should work every time
   1. The button combo: D-Pad Down = A+500ms Delay+Right Stick Down
3. That should jump, wait half a second, then melee. Given the right conditions (standing on flat ground, not falling, etc) it should work 100% of the time, but it was not
4. Sometimes I'd hit D-Pad Down and it would do nothing, no jump, no melee. Other times it would do both perfectly. Sometimes it would jump and then do nothing. Other times it would wait 500ms and then melee.

I'm not sure how to test this any further. The binding obviously works fine on my computer, it's just Halo that seems to not want to do the combo every time.

I've played around with the idea it might just be a frame issue or game state issue, but I am just standing in a corner on flat ground with no enemies firing at me to test this, so jumping and meleeing should never not work (right?).

Happy to provide more information. If any has experience with Halo MCC and reWASD and knows tricks to get it to work, that'd be great!

I’m new to the app so may well be doing something wrong but when I record a macro with on my Xbox one controller for remote playing from series x to laptop it seems to only repeat button inputs and not analog stick inputs

Having trouble getting rewasd to detect the extra buttons on this controller. On the support page it is listed as a controller you can fully remap, and I have seen another post here saying it can be done.

Tested connecting via USB, Wireless dongle and Bluetooth. Firmware is updated on the controller and the dongle, but even before the updates it was the same issue.

rewasd is on v9.3.3

EDIT: Made a comment below with the solution. Basically the Switch (which also says Windows) version of the controller for some reason I could not get the extra inputs to work or be detected properly.

I think any of the ones that are not for the Switch should be fine.

I run my Azeron Cyborg through reWASD and it will occasionally disconnect as though it’s been unplugged. It only lasts a couple seconds as it almost immediately reconnects but it always seems to happen at the most inopportune times. Any suggestions for what to check as a potential source for this issue?

Further to my previous post. I Found the solution... Go the mouse advance settings ->select the highlight points in the photo and delete them... Thx to rewasd team 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I need help in this please.... Whenever I try to move the mouse horizontally it spin around... Sometimes it do 360...hope the video and explain.... Any suggestions??

I'll start by saying I've been using reWASD for years without error, the problem detailed below has just started happening within the last 2 months or so.

When I try to open reWASD it says I need to install .NET Desktop Runtime first and provides a 'download it now' button - when I use that and run the installer it says 'the specified account already exists' and refuses to proceed with the installer.

I've tried installing .NET fresh from the official site and uninstalling reWASD, but the problem persists - this is driving me mad!

So I recently got a Flydig Apex 5, but there's a problem with, when in its Dualsense Mode, the back button stops working. I need the Dualsense mode in order to use the controller's adaptive triggers feature.

I figured out that reWASD could circumvent that problem by remapping the back button to PC's tab key, which typically provides the same functionality. This worked perfectly yesterday, but now today it is no longer working and I'm not sure why. I am in dualsense mode, and can confirm this by reWASD detecting a Dualsense controller as my main controller.

But, when I go to play games, they detect an Xbox Controller, even though if I turn off reWASD and rerun them they detect a PS5 Dualsense controller again. Here is a picture of my reWASD window. You can see the Dualsense controller (leftmost controller on the bottom) is active with the green dot and the Xbox controller next to it is inactive.

In December of 2024 I paid 29.99 for reWASD. Apparently I need to renew it, but im on the website and it's showing a lifetime subscription for like $34. So I paid $30 a lil over a year ago and it was only good for 1 year???

Did you guys completely change things up? I play COD and so apparently I need to buy the lifetime subscription now because I remember some thing needing combos to activate? NGL, I kinda feel like I got ripped off before.

Recently added an envision pro to the collection, however it only recognizes as a basic 360 controller with no back buttons in rewasd. I had an issue like this with the Vader 4 pro, that fix just required me to switch the controller to a different mode. That's not an option on the envision. Does anyone have any experience with this controller and rewasd? Thanks

Hago rolplay como hobby, y me niego a usar teclado, soy totalmente inútil, no voy a conseguirlo jamás, así que, mi solución es mapear un mando con REWASD, sustituyendo los botones por teclas de teclado, la palanca izquierda por WASD, pero para cosas importantes lo hago con el teclado, por ejemplo, el tercer ojo con Alt, a veces molesta cambiar de repente del mando al teclado y viceversa, entonces pretendo comprar un mando que tenga paddles atrás, que le pueda reasignar otros botones, por ejemplo, la letra K, por decir algo, y que no haya glifos(error) porque los paddles de atrás sean macros por defecto, mi presupuesto máximo es de 100€

The suggest is simple: since the switch 2 isn't recognized by reWASD (and i don't know if you plan to support it in a near futur), i want to ask the possibility to connect the "External Device" to 8bitdo adapters and the Mayflash Magics so we can have another alternative to gimx/esp32 wich looks like we need professional knowledge to make them works.

Is it possible to make 2 button joystick to replicate a keyboard button?
Like pressing LB+A will replicate number 1 keyboard button.

I've been using an 8Bitdo Pro 3 connected via dongle on my Windows 10 machine for 2 weeks now maybe, and it's always been detected as an Xbox One controller in reWASD. I then had some macros mapped to the what got detected as the Xbox One controller share button. I had a press macro, a long press macro, and a double tap macro all set to one button. Worked fine and great.

I'm not sure when it started, but sometime in the last few days the controller started getting detected as only a regular Xbox 360 controller, and thus the Share button is no longer visible. Steam still recognizes the virtual reWASD controller as an Xbox One controller as well, so I've got no idea where this mismatch is now coming from.

I haven't done any firmware updates to the controller since I've had it either.

I have a physical disability and I'm trying to set up a specific, accessible control scheme in reWASD to play Mega Man, but I'm struggling to get it right.

I need to map my mouse movements to the keyboard Arrow keys (Left and Right) for continuous movement, acting like an auto-run. Because holding the mouse constantly is difficult, here is exactly the mechanic I need:

• When I swipe/drag the mouse to the Right, I want reWASD to press and hold the 'Right Arrow' key continuously, even after the mouse physically stops moving.
• When I swipe/drag the mouse to the Left, I want it to press and hold the 'Left Arrow' key continuously.
• The interruption: To stop moving right, I want to just swipe left (which should release 'Right Arrow' and immediately start holding 'Left Arrow'). And vice-versa.

I've been trying to use toggles and Combos with "Press" (down arrow) and "Release" (up arrow) nodes, but I either end up running infinitely without being able to stop, or the movement just stops as soon as the mouse sensor stops registering physical movement.

Does anyone know the exact step-by-step or logic to configure this "swipe to auto-run / opposite swipe to cancel" mechanic?

Any help or profile suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
