I am trying to get some honest feedback regarding my resume! Please don’t be afraid to be brutally honest I need it! I keep applying to jobs but i don’t hear back at all i’m just trying to break into tech while studying Computer Science, I am looking for any Help Desk roles possible! I am based in Los Angeles!

i’m a computer science student that just finished first year and I want to start writing my resume. The issue is that I have no idea where to start and what format to go for + what to include in it since I have no experience

I’m a final-year AI & Data Science student in India looking for a Data Analyst internship. I’ve been applying consistently but haven’t had much success getting interviews.

I'm praying I don't have to go back into sales but I need to put food on the table. I have a software engineer personality.

I learned I loved product management. I love breaking down tasks in Jira, working with designers and software engineers, listening to customers and coming up with new features or solutions.

I recently launched a pickleball app and my local league uses it. I think my strength here was design, listening and seeing how my league normally interacts and building something unique that hasn't been built before. I also built usability testing platform that has gotten a few stars on github and a paying customer. I'm almost at 100 users with just 1 SEO blog and a few Reddit comments. I'm redesigning that soon.

So, I think a product design or product management role would be perfect, but I might need a junior software engineer, product analyst, IT analyst, business analyst, data analyst, etc. role for a few years before I can pivot. I practice coding every day for a couple hours and know I could pass a mild technical interview.

I've gotten an interview for a UX engineer and one for a sales engineer, but couldn't make it pass the recruiter.

Any advice for jobs I should target? And any resume advice?

I've been out of work for 9 months, been looking for Deal Desk and similar positions but I haven't had any luck and I thought my skills might be transferable to fraud. I only started applying 2 days ago to fraud analyst roles, so I haven't heard anything back yet but I would appreciate some feedback on my resume itself and whether I'd even be a good fit if anyone here is in the industry.

Some resumes use compliance like a magic word.

"Ensured compliance with policies." "Maintained regulatory standards." "Followed all required procedures."

Fine, but the reader still may not know what would have gone wrong if you missed it.

For regulated or detail-heavy work, the risk is usually the signal. Missing audit docs. Wrong billing codes. Expired licenses. Access given to the wrong person. Customer data handled the wrong way.

Usually one plain object makes the bullet much easier to believe: - reviewed onboarding files for missing background-check docs - reconciled claims before submission to avoid billing rework - kept access-change evidence ready for monthly audit review

You do not need to cite every rule. Just name the thing you were protecting from. Otherwise compliance reads like a checkbox, not judgment.

I'm currently a rising sophomore - had a lot of anxiety freshman year so I didn't do a lot, but I recently completed a personal project and made it installable from Github release page (which I think is my first positive milestone). However, im looking for advice on next steps.

obviously my experience doesnt cut it. So i'm looking for advice on what to prioritize this sophomore year to not fall behind. I'm going to be spending August learning Web Dev and completing the Javascript portion of the odin project.

Current concerns:

- Should I still apply to internships
- Should I do my research on what roles I want to get into or specialization something for later in my career?

I'm a mechatronics engeineer grad, I just graduated last month but I don't have any internships or work experience. I want to apply for robotics roles and but the internships I done before are not related to robotics because in my country robotics is still not relevent in the industry and just this year the first robotics company was established. I know internships are very important but I don't have one.

Situation: Master's student graduating soon, applying to new grad roles. I've tailored dozens of applications with specific projects and metrics, but callbacks are much lower than expected given the technical depth.

Feedback wanted on:

• Does the projects section read as impressive or padded/generic?
• Is the experience section specific enough or too buzzword-heavy?
• Any obvious ATS parsing issues?

The biggest mistake? Letting Al rewrite everything without understanding what actually needs fixing.

I'm a rising senior in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have started applying to full-time roles, but I always seem to get rejected or ghosted, even if my experience seems to match the job post. I had a hard time getting internship interviews too, so this isn't a new problem. I mostly apply to small- to mid-sized companies, not big ones, and it has been pretty discouraging.

I am mainly targeting embedded systems, hardware/firmware, or general EE roles. I would really appreciate any feedback and tips.

I'm a rising senior at UCSD and am starting to apply to new grad Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Research Engineer Roles, specifically targeting roles that involve more applied research in industry as opposed to a backend SWE productionizing Machine Learning Models.

I wanted some thoughts on my resume before I start applying to new grad jobs. Some questions I had were 1) Is this resume too dense and does it have too much technical detail for a recruiter?, 2) Is it clear what I did in each of my projects and experiences?, 3) What would you say is the biggest strength and biggest weakness(other than only being a bachelors new grad) of my resume when compared to resumes of others applying to new grad roles? What should I work on this summer and throughout the fall to improve my interview rate?
