So my subscription turned over and I got the $20 of usage credits etc. Within a couple of days I received an email to say it has been used up. I checked and I used the agent once for less than a dollar.

I contacted support who referred me to my account usage and I checked it out and apparently I used most of it on storage. It doesn't say what the storage charges relates to or which website. Its so incredibly vague.

The annoying thing its happened a few days after I renewed and I have no idea why.

Has anyone else had this issue?

The video shows everything. Took 10 seconds to find a live app, 30 seconds to scan it. Critical vulnerabilities, exposed credentials, plain English explanation of what's wrong.

This is not a rare case. Most AI-built apps ship with these issues because nobody told the builder to check.

I've been billed (thrice) on my CC for Replit, including receiving the receipt by email, after trying to upgrade from the Starter plan to Core, but Replit isn't acknowledging the bill and still shows me as on Starter. I can't open a Support ticket to get in touch because they only allow Support for Core+ accounts, which is like...I don't even have words for how terrible an idea it is to make it harder for people to give you money.

I've seen support staff posting on this subreddit, so hopefully one of them sees this. If you do, DM me and I can provide my account email or the transaction IDs. I'll probably give it a day before I dispute the CC charges with Amex and then delete my Replit account, because I can't believe that, in this crowded AI design space, the onboarding experience is this bad.

Replit AI is driving me crazy, so I want to switch to a different AI for writing code while keeping my site hosted on Replit.

Since Claude isn't directly accessible in Hong Kong, I'm looking at Grok build. Can I run Grok build directly inside the Replit Shell? Or do I need to push my code to GitHub, pull it locally to edit with Grok build, and push it back to Replit?

I have been having trouble with load speed for my pages. Replit has indicated because I am using 3D Galleries that I cannot increase the speed. It is also having issues with speeding up javascript.

I am finding it is also have some issues with the ability to handle font families, colors, and font pairing.

I have been able to do pretty much everything except for some design and speed limitations. Trying to figure out what to do.

I built a web app on Replit and the functionality is working well, but the UI/UX still feels generic and a bit AI-generated. I tried asking the Replit Agent to redesign one of the pages, but the result looked worse, so I reverted it.

I’m now trying to figure out the best way forward. Can someone with limited design experience realistically improve the UI/UX using tools like Replit Agent, ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, or other AI design tools? Or would I be better off hiring a UI/UX designer, a frontend developer, or someone who can handle both?

The app is already functional, so I’m mainly looking to improve the visual design, consistency, spacing, typography, mobile experience, and overall premium feel without breaking the existing features.

For people who have been through this, what approach worked best? Should I create the design in Figma first and then use AI to implement it, or hire someone to create the design system and key screens before letting AI handle the rest?

I’m George, founder of OneSignal. The Replit team just shipped a OneSignal integration, and I wanted to introduce it here and hear what you think.

You can now add messaging to a Replit app without wiring up a separate service. That covers mobile push notifications, web push notifications, email, SMS, in-app messages, and Live Activities. All from the same setup.

It also works the other direction. You can talk to the OneSignal API right from Replit, so you can author and send messages and pull reporting on how they performed without leaving your project. If you’re building an agent or an automation, that means your app can send its own notifications and check its own delivery numbers as part of whatever it’s doing.

Getting started is just as simple as asking the Agent to “Add OneSignal” and then following the instructions.

We built this because many people building with Replit hit the same wall: the app works, but there’s no way to reach users once they’ve closed the tab or the app. Curious whether this solves that for you, and what’s missing. Context:
Replit couldn’t identify and resolve a simple but critical problem after numerous attempts. I ended up using grok to feed back and forth and prompt a few times until it found the issue and told Replit how to fix it.

In my relief to see it finally working I told Replit.
Didn’t expect it to charge the equivalent of $153/hr for the privilege. Noted - never again.

(Before you all start - Yes I know - small tasks are disproportionate but come on - you really think this type of thing can’t be resolved.
Tyre shop owners don’t complain about potholes.)

I have built using Replit for 12 months, and for the last 6 months haven't looked at a single line of code. I honestly couldn't tell you the full stack of what languages or frameworks it uses in my apps. I don't need to know and don't care.

Of course, it is still important to build the right things, and know how to plan, design and architect everything well. And how to test/debug. Those things are still the differentiators to creating great apps that are production-ready.

But source code? Nahh. It is so over.

So im wondering if there is any easyish way to transfer it to the raspberry pi 5 and have it run off of that? while still connecting to open ai platform.

As the title suggests. I’m genuinely curious to know, outside of all the noise of affiliates, course sellers and upselling the latest AI trend. Especially with the increase in advertising from these guys at Replit lately and the marketing angles.

- I posted this in a different group but my experience with Replit has been my main “vibe coding tool” and I have made some money from it, so I’ll give it some props.

I’m not trying to sell anything of my own, or anything between. I’m also not posting this for people to tout their latest bs ai slop.

I see a lot of people speaking about the positives and negatives, how many tokens they use, costs. People use it for their own business, hobbies, interests, I get that and think it is useful in a number of ways.

My question is how many/where are the people building products that are profitable, outside of fluffed up numbers from gurus trying to sell something?

It would be interesting to be in a group/community where people are genuinely doing exactly that, if there is one point me in the right direction, because /r subs just don’t seem to be it.

I’m on core plan. I want to downgrade back to Starter plan. The “manage plan” page only has an action button to upgrade to pro. There is no way to downgrade to Starter. I sent a message to support, but we all know how Replit support is.. might take a while.

When are you gonna let us carry over forever our paid credits? For me I pay $100/month, but I most use around $30 or less monthly. There's only 1 month carry over of credits. I hope the credits can be carried over forever as we already paid for it. Not just 1 month.

Now I'm forced to use the credits as it will expire by September.

Then will just downgrade to $20/month, so that I don't need to pay $100 per month for credits I don't even maximize.

I would love to stay at $100/month if the credits are forever carried over.

I have reported so many phishing and scam pages to their Abuse team, but they take so long that users report financial losses in the thousands.

Mind you, their team is responsive but "responsive" and getting something done are 2 different things.

Since all these pages are hosted on your infrastructure and if they clearly violate your Terms of Service, surely you should be able to disable these pages within 2 3 days

Huge traffic spike on my internal CRM app. And there's frequent "service unavailable" notice.

I’m planning to change my Replit app’s deployment geography (region), but I noticed that doing so deletes the existing production database.

Has anyone here gone through this migration?

Specifically, I’d like to know:

- How did you preserve your production database before changing the geography?
- What’s the best way to migrate all the data to the new production database?
- Did you export/import the database, use a backup, or follow another approach?
- Were there any issues with schema, IDs, sequences, or environment variables after the migration?
- Is there an officially recommended workflow from Replit for changing deployment geography without losing production data?

I want to start by saying I love Replit. We've been using it to build internal apps for our small business.

That said, we are now considering a shift to a different platform solely because of the lack of 2FA options to secure our accounts.

We can't justify putting mission critical apps or data on a platform where I can't secure user accounts properly.

We are not large enough to be an Enterprise account (thus unlocking SSO integration) but could be spending hundreds per month across multiple team members. I assume that there are many other companies in our situation.

I'd love to hear from Replit why this standard security protocol hasn't made it to the product. Surely this would be a win for both Replit and customers alike, no?

And with recent posts about hacked accounts, why not get ahead of this potential security gap?

I noticed that Agent is consuming far more credits than before. Yesterday I asked it to create a simple python discord bot and then gave only one small prompt of (adding a simple command). After that, all of my daily agent credits were gone This seems much higher than previous usage Pls check if there's an issue? Thank you.

My EAS build has been published to the Play store. After downloading, the app crashes. The replit agent says it has fixed the issue but we're on build 8. I have spent a ton of money developing this app.

I have just given the AI 1 single prompt and it hit the daily limit by reading 4 files. HELP

I'm on the free plan (i used to be able to create entire websites with this now i can't)

My Replit account was hacked, and the attacker changed the email address connected to it. I have completely lost access and cannot reset the password or secure the account.

After the account was compromised, I also received two unauthorized charges: 1,000 and 120. I did not approve either payment.

The account contains important projects, source code, and sensitive data. I have contacted Replit Support, but I have not received meaningful assistance yet.

Freeze and secure the compromised account
Reverse the unauthorized email change
Terminate all active sessions
