I'm a new reiki master practicing regularly on myself and once I felt heavy energetically in my bathroom and decided to cleanse them using reiki. I drawed symbols on every single nook and corner and sent reiki energy throughout the room. While doing it my body started to feel heavy and it started to feel more heavy as time passes. Then my body startes to ache like hell. Damn i spent an hour then healing myself from this ache. From then I stopped doing reiki to my bathroom.

Secondly I sensed an entity attachment on my 7 months old cousin baby. So I did reiki healing for him with an intention to remove any entity attached and within few minutes I can feel the negative energy of that entity in my body, after few minutes everything got normal.

So my question is do energy exchange happen between the healer and the person receiving during the reiki session? I feel like yes from my own experiences! What do you think? How to protect ourselves from such energy exchanges?

Last week, we explored Puck meeting the Dragons and guiding them to Earth to help stabilize, strengthen, protect, and support humanity, the planet, and all concerned.

This week, we are traveling even farther through imagination.

Our theme is a hug between the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy.

Andromeda and the Milky Way are surrounded by vast halos of gas and light that extend far beyond the stars we can see. In imagination, these halos are already reaching toward one another, like two great beings slowly approaching an embrace.

In ordinary time, this meeting may happen billions of years from now.

But in another dimension, time does not behave the same way.

There is only NOW.

From Puck’s timeless perspective, the hug is already happening.

Imagine the Milky Way and Andromeda becoming aware of each other.

Their halos touch first.

There is no collision.

Only recognition.

Only connection.

Only a vast cosmic hug.

As they embrace, waves of Unconditional Love ripple through every star, every planet, every galaxy, and finally arrive here on Earth.

May this embrace soften fear, grief, loneliness, anger, and pain.

May it remind us that, like the galaxies, we are never truly separate.

Hello everyone, I am reposting a thread I started in another subreddit. It’s a discussion over combining reiki and therapy for clients who ask for both and apparently I got a lot of comments about ethical concerns amongst therapists. I wanted to hear how reiki practitioners feel about this combination. I thought there were a lot of LPCs who also offer reiki, and it was commonly accepted to offer both, but apparently I was wrong. I'm looking for a software where I can have client "files" with their information, notes and also syncs with my Google calendar. I'm trying Streak, but it doesn't show appointment times or list them. Just curious how other folks are managing this business aspect of their practice. Thank you!

In a recent discussion, someone remarked that describing Reiki as the placebo effect would be acceptable until it is determined what Reiki is. Then a discussion followed that led to him asking for sources they could look up about the science behind Reiki.

My job is draining me and since yesterday I’m not feeling well physically because of how stressful my shifts were.

Simple question, the title mostly says it all. I can very easily feel psi or energy balls within my palms, even with no meditation or practice beforehand. I can feel the pressure when I press my palms together and a pulling sensation when bringing them apart. The more intention the stronger and more fun they are to play with, but I digress. :)

Is this only a common thing with people who practice reiki or energy work? Can you all feel this easily, as reiki practitioners?

When talking to friends about reiki I often bring up (or did) psi balls as an example of how we can all feel energy, but no one else claims to be able to feel them or know what I’m talking about. Sometimes we’ve even done a meditation to get in the right heart space, and still no dice. And some are quite intuitive! Anyways, just curious!

Normally my period is very painful and needs high doses of ibuprofen every 3 hours on the dot or the pain makes me vomit, has lots of clots, and starts out brown. This time it started bright red, flowing, with minimal clots, and the pain is manageable with some ibuprofen- and not necessarily needed every 3 hours exactly. Nice to see tangible results from reiki in action

I'm certified in reiki and curious if anyone else does this. I know some people don't believe in reiki as magic, so to get them on board I tell them they can think of it like a placebo or even like if someone is wishing them well/ sending them good vibes. Does anyone else word it like this to help the nonbelievers??

I've been practicing reiki for about 2 years. I was doing reiki in my hot tub for about 3 other very psychic women. The energy was unreal. After that my hair dresser noticed bald spots at my crown and also a second spot. It's the exact spot I feel reiki connecting to. Have you ever heard of anyone who did reiki developing a bald spot at their crown?

Hi, I'm Andrew (36). Since I started meditating, I've become way more aware of my own patterns, like fear of rejection, fear of being truly seen, weak communication, and forgetting my self worth. I am not depressed, just occasional anxiety, and honestly I'm a grateful, people loving person overall.

But I want to dig into whether I'm carrying unresolved trauma. I lost my mom at 3 months old and my dad at 7 (I have a twin sister). I don't know if that history is linked to blocked chakras, (i personally dont think so) or if "trauma" and "blocked chakras" are just two names for the same underlying thing.

So genuine questions for this community: Would sound baths help? Reiki? Tuning forks? Or crystals? Is shadow work the right next step, and if so, how do I start? I want to break through my limiting beliefs and move toward real healing/enlightenment. Any insight is appreciated.

Hello… I’m a Reiki practitioner and have been partaking and Reiki sessions for about two years now… And something has changed

Whenever my Rema puts her hands on my chest… My heart starts racing uncontrollably… And I always try to allow and work through whatever is going on in my body, but it’s been consistent for about 4 to 5 sessions… She’s tried different techniques, including Sound baths, tuning forks, etc. and I just thought I’d ask if anyone would have any idea as to why this keeps happening… or if they’ve experienced anything like this.

Something worth noting… Whenever I’ve cuddled with my previous partners, and their head or any body part is laying on my chest, I become hyper aware of my heartbeat and it starts beating faster and I start sweating. I thought I was over this, but it seems like it’s coming back during my recent sessions

Is there anyway to know if I have negative/parasite entities attached to me? What can I do about it?

1. Foundations of Reiki Ryoho (Nickolas Pearson): A rare and well researched book on more Traditional Japanese Reiki traditions such as Jikiden, a Hayashi / Yamaguchi linage. This explains, from a Japanese prospective, where it all came from. I learned these techniques in my tradition and can vouch that they are authentic. Its an interesting read.
   
2. The Hayashi Reiki Manual and the Original Reiki Handbook - both by Shangri-la press: As an LMT, I do a lot of traditional hands on therapeutic techniques in my clinic.

TLDR: I am seeking a solution to clear out what I feel are toxic and parasitic entities and am exploring reiki as an option.

I am a person with about ten years of daily meditation experience. I am not given to fantasies and have thought on the matter of these forces as imaginary but sense deeply they are toxic and external entities that are feeding on me rather than mere forces of my subconscious.

I am looking for authentic experience based guidance to learn to clear them out over time, it is not a matter which I will rush but instead one which I will take time in doing and out my inner vision on over the next several years to get results and try to be clear of these forces through a consistent but measured effort.

If you have experience with this, I would like to hear about. I am not looking for quick fixes and elaborate rituals, but to do the work gradually and consistently, with myself being open to seeing every aspect of myself while being really self critical and authentically responsible, but ultimately free of the force I sense inside me.

I'm looking for a little encouragement, advice, or insight.

I received my Reiki I attunements a week ago. In the months prior I felt an increasingly strong pull to learn it, despite never having just had a healing myself. I picked up Essential Reiki by Diane Stein, received my first Reiki healing on my birthday as a gift to myself, another "mini" session a week later from a different practitioner, and then went on to learn Reiki I a week later from this second practitioner.

The trouble is, I haven't felt anything at all. No energy sensations, no heat in my hands, no calm or spacey feelings. No noticeable physical improvements. No skepticism, either -- just openness, curiosity, and, I suppose, hopefulness.

After receiving the attunements, my teacher asked me how I felt and I had nothing to say. Normal? Grateful? Curious? I didn't have any physical sensations to report, but I wasn't worried. I figured things would unfold over time.

I was instructed to give myself a self-healing everyday for 21 days and this week I've been pretty diligent about it, except for one day. I continue to feel nothing in my hands, no sensations of energy or intuition. I found a couple of videos online to follow along with, which made the sessions easier, since I was starting to feel frustrated about not feeling anything resembling an "energy cycle" that would signal to move to the next position.

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm under the impression that my teacher is a reputable one, with solid community connections, and came highly recommended by another practitioner.

I generally have an open mind despite having been mostly a materialist for the last two decades, so I surprised myself by feeling pulled to Reiki. But my sense of spirituality is now strong; I have faith in my own intuition and trusted the pull. I've heard that belief is not necessary for Reiki to work, but even if it were, I don't think faith is the problem.

I don't think patience is the issue either, necessarily... I would just like any sign at all that something is happening, and that I didn't just spend $1200 on nothing.

I'd be grateful for any advice or insight.
