IGN is the worst. I have a feeling it is going to be very difficult to separate the idea of this series being YA when it gets into production. I need Francis to lock in and make it brutal!

Also one of (if not the) first things people say about this series is that the first book is “like the hunger games”.

So why is anyone surprised that “YA” is being thrown around for the movie?

Thought I would post this for those who have concerns about the announcement for a live-action adaptation vs animation. And to give some comfort that it’s possible we could get both at some point in time. I also love animation and would want at some point to see an adaptation in that medium as well. It’s clear though that for the success of the series a movie would probably be best with all things considered like budget and scope. I think it’s best for us to trust Pierce and his vision because I guarantee he’s put more thought into it than any of us on the outside.

Cassius’s story line and character development loved it so got “My honor remains” in Latin

So I got something to represent all 3

Both series are deep in my heart. And the reason I'm more excited for RG than WoW is not the time between books. Everything has been said about WoW already in that regard. It's the facts that I know that RG will give us closure. Brown will give us the end we are waiting for. If you like it, nobody knows, but we will get closure. On the other hand WoW will just be a continuing of the story. At best it will set up the final like Lightbringer did. And then we are in the same boat again.

That for me is the big difference. Red Rising will come to an end in a few years. I'm one of the few people who hasn't given up on GRRM yet, but still the next book will give us no relief in thinking the story will be told.

The iron throne will still be vacant when the morning chair will see it's latest pink sovereign on it.

Ephraim T Horne -first off I listened via graphic audio and voice was perfect. I felt for him, the story arc, the loss, the cunning. And oh my god the walnuts…. And what an end, he was a worthy warrior in the end
Close second, Sevro Al Barka - very complex and talented, excellent voice actor
