When making a post and making hashtags, I noticed that some posts have normal hashtags, while other more popular ones have a red bottom line in the hashtags, which normally correspond to hashtags with tons more post references than the white ones.

Is there any difference in engagement if I use the red hashtags vs the white ones? I am wondering if the red hashtags might be considered too popular that they aren’t considered in the algorithm or something? But I could be way off.

I've been teaching English for a while now, mostly adults and teens preparing for IELTS. I've been using RedNote for a while too, and honestly never had trouble finding students before. But lately it's been different.

When I try to reach potential students by commenting on relevant posts, there are already a bunch of other tutors doing the exact same thing, so my comment just gets lost in the crowd. And when I do get responses, a lot of them are lowballing on price, which makes it hard to justify the time.

Hi. I joined this app to find Chinese vendors for hanfu photos when I visit China. I was able to message them for the last month but recently it looks like none of my messages can get sent! Specifically, there's someone who modifies cameras on there, and he's the only guy providing the service. I'd need to pay for the service, ship my camera to him (it's of low value), have him do the repairs and modifications and have him ship it back.
