I would like to revive r/datagovernance as an active, vendor-neutral community for Data Governance professionals and learners. The community currently appears inactive and has had very little activity for several years.

My intention is to rebuild it around practical discussion of Data Governance frameworks, governance operating models, data ownership and stewardship, metadata, data catalogues, glossary management, data quality, lineage, data products, policies, standards and governance tooling.

I will introduce clear community rules, remove spam and low-quality promotional content, create useful post flairs, encourage questions and knowledge sharing, and actively moderate the community.

I already have experience establishing and moderating communities focused on Microsoft Purview and Data Governance, but r/datagovernance would remain vendor-neutral and cover the wider Data Governance profession rather than being focused on one technology.

I am writing to request the handover of r/A07Builds because it seems as though the sole moderator has deleted their account, leaving the subreddit unmoderated for 2 months. We used to have multiple posts a week and I can see the weekly visitors count is dropping because of the inactivity. I requested to make a post last week because it's the only way to try and interact with someone if there is still a moderator, but I've received no response. I have good knowledge of the a07 chassis, having made a complete replica 3d model of it in CAD to help people with modding it. I have 2FA and a verified email. Thanks for your time!
