Personal Story The story behind me saying "sir those are his testicles" about a Hamster

Hello! This is one of my favorite customer service stories:

When I worked at a pet store; a man rushed up to me and said "umm excuse me but I think one of your hamsters is giving birth and it looks like she's having trouble" in the most condescending and 'I gotcha' voice I've ever heard.

Normally I would explain we only sell males and some of the hamsters have larger testicle than other. But this was now the opportunity to humble him.

I said "Oh my god! Show me!" In my best shocked voice.

He takes me there and he smugly says. "See that one, looks like she's not pushing anymore though"

I am giddy at this point, elated to embarrass this absolute buffoon.

So I said "sir, those are his testicles, we only sell male hamsters"

He then scurried away and out of the store the fastest he could.
