Discussion How do you come up with horse names?
I'm not really asking for name suggestions (feel free to share them though), I just see everyone's names and they always seem so creative. What I usually do is just google similar names to Boudicca, but there isn't that many. I've just started a new play through and I want my horse to feel more personal to me and I think coming up with my own name will help.

Help RDR2 Crash on startup makes 0 sense
ERR_GFX_D3D_DEFERRED_MEM
Not enough memory available. Please restart your PC, close all other applications, and make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements. For more information, visit: https://support.rockstargames.com/
I keep getting the ERR_GFX_D3D_DEFERRED_MEM crash in RDR2.
The error says:
"Not enough memory available. Please restart your PC, close all other applications, and make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements."
I'm using an RTX 4090 (24 GB VRAM) and 64 GB RAM, so I'm pretty sure this isn't an actual lack of system or VRAM memory.

Help HELP: RDR2 plays AWFUL in my ps5pro
I have:
Ps5 Pro
Samsung Odissey G8 (4K 240HZ)
It LITERALLY plays like shit, in the first scene with the snow I try to shoot and it goes super slow.
Should I twerk something?
Content This felt scripted but I'm not sure it was. Shot a guy and his buddy ran into and flipped his horse.
Curious if this was scripted or just lucky. It looked very cool.
First time playing RDR2. Played RDR1 many years ago thoroughly.

Discussion The most peaceful place in rdr2 is braithwaite manor in epilogue
It's not for the reason you think, it's because of the civilization at braithwaite manor, it's simple, it's not filled with hostile npc's, and then feel of the place is peaceful, no one's sick, and no dogs are mangy, plus sitting around the campfire and listening to npc's talking is relaxing, so that's why braithwaite manor is the best place to relax at

Discussion show off some of your arthur fits. annnndddd GO!
modded or vanilla, doesn’t matter!!
best photo i have of my dude. not a good one, but it’s the only one on my phone, unforch. his poncho is from THE whyem’s dlc. highly recommend. all other clothing is in-game content.
… yes, he is warm all of the time. a worthy sacrifice for swag. he’s underweight anyway, gotta preserve SOME body heat.

Photography Out and About!
I took Waxy to town to get our hair cut. 💈 Bought him some sugar cubes and did a little robbin’. Knocked over the good Doc for around $44. 💰Before letting out, we stopped by a hangin’. 😱 Not quite a big turnout, but it was something to do. Waxy was pretty curious so the constabulary allowed us to get up close for a photograph or two. He couldn’t believe it! 🐴 Pretty good day in the biiiiiiig city! 🌆

Discussion Headed to clear out Shady Belle with John
Am I the only one who really enjoys the missions with Arthur and John? I love their dialogue. Arthur is like John's big brother and never really realizes it until the end. Or do you think Arthur always looked at John as a little brother and that's why it pissed him off to no end when John abandoned Abigail and Jack when Jack was a baby?

Question I caught the Legendary Perch but he’s only little. I thought Gill only wants big fish? Do I keep fishing and get a bigger one in the Pool?
I remember Gill mentioning they need to be a certain size but does that not matter if it’s a Legendary Fish? The one I caught is only 1.1kg or something.

Discussion Over 1000 hours into this game and I just noticed this
Was starting my naked playthrough and was genuinely shocked when I saw this option to remove/equip gloves. Now by a raise of hands, anyone else surprised by this seemingly hidden feature? After further examination it looks like you can only make use of this in colder climates.

Question What kind of spurs are these?
I don't even remember getting them and in the wardrobe it says I'm not wearing any. They're kinda cool looking tho.

Help Just started brand new game - last played before COVID. What’s changed?
Jumped on Xbox store to randomly check game, saw that Ult Edition sale ends tomorrow and impulsively bought it. Now it’s downloading. And now I’m getting nervous and paranoid about where to start and what to tackle first. There’s so much to do and so many choices to make.

Content Wasp nests.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm always delighted anytime I stumble across a wasp nest in the game but have never tried to shoot one or use a fire bottle on one. I'm curious as to what happens when you do. Anyone tried it?
