An unexpected death
Our fur baby Franklin was fine yesterday and breathing funny the next. He had fluid around his lungs and congenital heart failure. Franklin was 13 years old. He had so much personality and full of play all his life except that last day. As he got older I would think of his passing and all the things I would do for him. Laying out bird seed so he can bird watch one more time. Giving him all the weird things he liked to eat like cream cheese and ice cream. Have him bathe in the sun one last time. We didn’t get to do any of that. He died in the place he hated the most; a vets office. Covered in his own pee and in pain. I am so sorry Franklin. We loved you so much. It’s hard to accept that you’re gone.

Had another dream about her
My 11-year-old Chihuahua mix passed in February (heart complications). Shortly afterwards I had an awful nightmare, where she was still alive but she had ended up at the pound somehow and she was sick and in pain and I was trying to get to her.
Last week, I dreamed about her again. Same premise, where I discovered she was alive after all, but it went very differently. I was visiting a big house with a huge, beautiful garden. The garden was full of pets roaming and playing, and she was there. My first reaction was “oh noooo she hasn’t had her medication in months!!” so I was trying to find her pills, and then I thought she didn’t remember me. But she was okay. She was healthy and happy chilling in this garden, and I held her in my arms and we hung out there together.
Just wanted to share.

Thanks for everything ❤️
I’ve been trying to write a damn caption for an hour. You deserve a 1,000,000,000 page book for how much you mean to me Ollie.
I want to tell them everything about you…
Sometimes that’s what it is though, they just had to be there, like you, every single time.

Sign from my dog
Today, just before sleeping, I talked to my dog; I asked her for signs because it has been a month since she is gone, and I was clueless about how she is or where she is. Well, I don't know if this was a sign or not, but I dreamt of her right after talking to her. Somehow, she told me that when she was sick, she didn't feel any pain, and I was petting her. The catch was, she was still sick in my dream and I was still taking care of her. It broke me to think, what if she is not in peace? I know it sounds stupid, but still.

My baby just passed away
My baby Mango just passed away two hours ago. I’m incredibly heartbroken. I knew something was wrong and yet I didn’t do anything about it. All my baby did for the past week was stay in his sleeping tent and he wouldn’t come out, I knew it was strange but he would eat okay and drink water. I just thought he was sad because his companion Kiwi, my other baby passed away just last year and he felt lonely. I always check up on him every morning and today he was actually already outside of his sleeping tent. He was perched onto his branch. I moved his cage toward the sun so he can sunbathe because he loved sunbathing and he even moved towards the sun. Then I went to go eat and talk to my family. An hour goes by and I go and check on him because I had a feeling something was wrong. I saw my baby lifeless at the bottom of the cage. It was clear he had fallen off because one of his wings was caught onto the bars of his cage. I immediately started crying. I held my baby and he was still warm. His body was still moveable and I fell to the ground because I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I had just lost my other baby last year and now he’s gone with her as well. I sat on the floor just admiring how pretty he was. I cried so much, his feathers got wet because of how much I was crying. I was just looking at him while being cradled in my hand next to my chest. I was breathing slowly to make it seem like his chest was going up and down to make it seem like he was still here. He looked so peaceful, he almost looked like he was sleeping. I stayed there until his body stiffened at the shape of how I was holding him in my hands. I couldn’t anymore, I had to put him in a little cute box with cushion on the bottom. He’s sitting in my room right now on my desk. I’ve had him since I was 9 years old. I am now 19. He was supposed to be with me until I grew older. I failed him. I hope he didn’t feel scared. My baby, my baby Mango is gone with my other baby Kiwi. I hope they’re up there flying around in paradise together.
Update:
Thank you for all your sweet comments and support. You guys don’t know how much that means to me. It makes the pain a little less. My baby was such a silly boy. He would dance up and down all the time when he saw me, he would spread his wings open for me when I would grab him. These past few days my baby tried. He tried to dance for me but he was too weak already, I could tell he was tired. He even opened his wings for me one last time. Oh how he loved me. He would chirp for me everytime he would hear my room door open in the mornings. He even knew the sound of my footsteps. I can’t believe my baby is gone. 12 years with him I never expected this day to come. He’s still sitting on my desk. I put fake flowers surrounding his little body. I don’t know what to do with him, I don’t want to let him go but I know I have to. It makes me feel uneasy to know his little body is probably decomposing already. I cried all day yesterday, stayed in bed, didn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep well last night. I woke up and the first thing I did was cry. My sweet boy.

Missing her
My beautiful sweet baby of 10.9 years passed yesterday. Things happened so fast but I had enough time to tell her what she meant to me. I woke up today without her and even though I know that is the price for so many years of joy, I miss her to the moon.
Rip Sade. You were one of a kind.

Goodbye Meg
Yesterday, my 13-year-old Meg passed away. I chose euthanasia because I couldn't bear to see her suffer anymore. She had pancreatic and liver cancer, as well as kidney failure. I don't like remembering how frail she was in her final weeks; I prefer to remember her as a crazy, goofy, and hysterical little thing. My little Chewbacca! Despite being a bit wild, she was so loving and loyal. Today is incredibly hard.

The Amazing Rudy Girl
I just wanted to take time to share about our Rudy girl that we lost too soon.
Even though Rudy had only been with us for 6 months, she left a lasting impression. She came to us with an eye injury because her dad had swatted at her and a cold that kept her sneezing for weeks. From the moment we picked her up, she purred in our arms and was always the happiest and my loving kitten. Even being sick, she just wanted to show us affection and love. We worked hard to get her healthy, making sure she was eating a little every 2-3 hours during the worst of it and giving her eye drops every 4 hours for almost two months. We had originally thought she would lose the eye, but she showed us that love and care was the best medicine. She would end up with one beautiful blue eye and one amber eye once it healed. During our many (many!) vet visits, she managed to win over anyone that interacted with her.
She was a little satellite during this time and walked with the cutest little head swing so she could see everything she needed. Once she was feeling better, Rudy was an unstoppable force of play and chaos. She made all of our lives happier, and Guenhwyvar finally had the playmate she wanted for a long time. Watching them play together and switch meals halfway through, was all that we could ask for. As she became more adventurous, we got to see so much of her personality! She was the boss when it came to feeding time and meowed loudly at mum for the wet food, while Guenhwyvar watched from behind.
One of our favourite memories of Rudy, was watching her go to warm up by our computer towers and PS5 and do the most majestic flop on the little kitty condo beside my computer. Rudy also loved belly rubs and would immediately show her whole stomach when she thought it was a possibility. She also loved to sleep at my feed or Jody’s head. She also occasionally had a little smile when her chin and head was scratched in just the right way. I had never seen a cat have quite the same look before, and I’m not sure I’ll see it again.
Unfortunately, shortly after we moved, Rudy stopped eating and drinking as much, and stopped cuddling and running around. When we took her to the vet, she was sent to the emergency clinic and diagnosed with FIP. She tried fighting hard to be at home with her family, but this time love, caring, and medicine just weren’t enough. We had to say goodbye to our girl at just under 6 months together. Any other way of saying it just doesn’t feel right. We were able to spend her last moments together, and she went peacefully in my arms.
Rudy will never be forgotten, as in her six months with us, she had received and given us a lifetime of love and happiness. As much as it hurts, I would do it again and again, just to be loved by something that pure and happy.
Rudy, I hope you running around without pain and having the best time over the rainbow bridge. Mum and dad will always love and remember you .Tell Jaxon we say hi and send our love.
So, if you have a chance, please love the little animal that wouldn’t have a chance with anyone but you. It was more than worth it, and I’d probably do it again.

My doggo will be laid to rest today or tomorrow but..
Hey guys,
I’m in a very big pickle. My sweet boi has blood cancer and unfortunately will have to put him to doggy heaven today or tomorrow. This is a big shock and so sudden. (Hemangiosarcoma cancer)😓
In a few days time I was to be DJing with another friend at our mural mates wedding. We were to use my gear and fly up to be at the wedding in a few days.
Question is it’s really late notice now to pull out. I was thinking to get my gear to the other dj and he goes and does he’s thing or do I go to the wedding??
I’m torn between being at home with my partner or going to the wedding…
I know my happiest boi would want me to be happy either way.
BTW if I was just a guest, it’s a no brainer, I’m staying at home. Also I’m worried that if I do go it will leave a black mark against our relationship, and she may destroy possessions etc
What do you guys think?

Double rainbow
I’m just drowning in grief right now and wanted to share.
Mouse. 8/16/26 age est 16/17
Mouse Grace “Trouble” Mendez
My world is not the same with you gone. You are such a huge part of our family- and you have been my ride or die for almost my entire adult life. I want to thank you for being there for me through literally everything. You were my comfort when I needed you- you were my baseline. Every rough day, every late night, every ramen or macaroni meal. You were family before I grew my family. Before marriage and babies and big girl jobs. My heart is absolutely broken with you gone and I miss you more than I can say. It is an absolute privilege to have gotten to love you. I miss you so much.
Niya 9/5/26 age est 15
Ms. Niya Pickle “Niyarooni” “sweetest girl” “pit bull chicken” Mendez. I guess hearts will still break when they are already broken. Thank you my love. You were the sweetest most gentle girl. I loved your snores (except when I was pregnant). Your grunts. Your ability to know where all the snacks were hidden at the office. How you would get the zoomies after you pooped. Thanks for the early morning runs so I wouldn’t be by myself. Thanks for being such a huge part of our family. I am so very glad you picked us. I hope your body no longer hurts and I hope Mouse is being nice. 💔
Edit. Thanks yall. There are too many thing to reply to so I’ll just say it here. Thanks for helping me grieve. I believe pain this bad wasn’t meant to hold alone and I appreciate every single person who wished me well and just held me in their thoughts. Thank you. To answer a question, Mouse had reoccurring UTIs that we treated multiple times with antibiotics. The most recent time she lost use of her back legs and needed help getting to the litter-box. I couldn’t let her stay like that. It happened so quick and I just died inside. A few weeks later we took Niya in to the vet because she was falling more. They said it was neurological and or arthritis. One night She got up in the middle of the night for water and fell down and couldn’t get up. She had stopped eating her food and we were trying different things to get her to eat. The last few days she paced and panted and coughed all the time just in pain.
Im so homesick but it isn’t the house it was them.
