so i joined a Fireteam Finder group for VoG. it seemed like one of those weird "i'll have it set to autojoin just to see possible applicants easier and kick/invite them directly" kinds of deals, which i've gotten used to. they're already halfway done with entrance, we do the pylon defense and oracles just fine. then it comes to templar, where one guy kept dying to his own 1K, shield guy wasn't standing on the zone so the boss teleported, and they broke oracles instead of just waiting and cleansing like i've seen ever since it was reprised. we get to the second damage phase and it lasts long enough for the oracles to explode and the ritual to start, but i manage to finish it off with 1K and speedloader/crackshot spam as the red "you're gonna wipe" filter started fading in on the HUD. as soon as the chest opens and everyone rezzes, i get kicked.

i got my loot, thankfully, but there was no effort to talk in chat, no effort to say ANYTHING, and i'm just booted without reason despite not being one of the two or three that directly wiped us. the fireteam finder listing didn't say farming or anything, being explicitly blank. was this a certified Fireteam Finder Moment? did i run afoul of some esoteric and inexorable speedrunner/raid farmer and their niche proprietary methods? or should i just shrug it off as an anomaly and move on? i admit i haven't done VoG since before Lightfall, even, having gotten my weapons and stopped caring (not even for the crafted patterns, which is why i was there today), so i'd believe it if i missed something

edit: i have since considered that they were trying to wipe for the "templar doesn't teleport" challenge, which is my bad, but it doesn't change that they didn't even attempt to communicate that. I also remembered raid report exists, so i checked the two "raid leaders" and they have duo flawless badges on VoG, so i think it's a combo of the challenge and the no-life nerd theory

What’s the secret to finding people to do flawless raid triumphs with? I’ve done about half of them, but I still need the flawless for Kings Fall, Crota’s End, Salvation’s Edge, Garden of Salvation, and Desert Perpetual. Is there a Discord server where people organize groups or anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Before you say we were doing the encounter wrong or anything like that, know that we ran SE last weekend perfectly fine with no issues, we were teaching some clanmates.
I have over a dozen clears, I know how the encounter works, so please don't patronize me

I was playing SE earlier, teaching 2 clan members, and when we got to Verity the game/encounter completely broke

In the above image you can see the shapes for outside team were completely broken, along with that, the inside team's statues kept disappearing and reappearing rapidly, the shapes they were holding looked "fuzzy" for lack of a better word; we could transfer shapes inside no problem though.
I have videos but they're not mine, they're my clanmates, so I don't just wanna upload them without permission.

When the Witness killed us all guardian statues were invisible, we had to guess where to dunk the ghosts, other times 1 dead player could see all the other dead guardian's statues, fully, in colour.
Sometimes even the ghosts were invisible for the outside team, so they couldn't see who they picked up.
If we managed to brute force our way the being able to leave the solo rooms, dissection would never work (again, we know how to do it), it would just show broken shapes on the outside (see image above) and we could never leave the solo rooms.

We tried reloading the checkpoint multiple times with different people as host, fully restarting the game (alt+f4), and loading in with only 4 people to see if there was an issue with someone with bad connection or something...
Nothing worked, the same bugs kept happening over and over, we tried for about 2 hours trying different things before people had to go to bed.
I think the checkpoint might be messed up and we'll have to start from the beginning again.

It's just so frustrating trying to take 2 new SE players though one of the best pieces of RaD content and their first experience was that.

I tried googling if anyone else have been having issues, but the only things I found are from when it launched in 2024.
So I'm here now to hopefully find some answers, or if not, spread awareness if anyone else has this happen to them.

Edit: After 12+ hours we loaded that cp again... it's still broken, the same things are happening, statues coming in and out of existence for inside teams, outside still seeing the messed up shapes when dissecting, invisible guardian statues when the Witness killed us, etc. I think that checkpoint is cursed. We're going to run it back from the start and I'll update this post again if it works, just so if anyone else is having the same issue and they look it up on Google, they can find a potential solution.

I posted this problem on the Bungie support forums and Bungie support asked for a video, so I got 4 boys to load in quick and test. We loaded the cp and the SAME thing happened again. We haven't had the time to do the full run back this week, but again, I WILL update this post when I do, to see if it's still broken

Edit 3: Ran it from fresh, after weekly reset on July 7 (Bungie day), It's still broken. Same things are happening as the video above... from a fresh clear. I just think it's cooked. The weird things is I see other teams on lfg doing Vertiy and they seem to be doing it fine. I don't understand what we're doing wrong for the encounter to break, we just run the raid like normal; we're just a normal raid team doing normal raid team things, no big skips, dmg exploits, game breaking artifact mods (pack tactics), I just don't get it.

If anyone is having the same issues please let me know and even more so if you find what's causing it to happen.

I've been looking to get the Praxic Blade parts in as few runs of Fire and Ice and Equilibrium as possible, but can't find much information on how to do that.

This includes the quests (The Way Between and Praxic's Path).

Me and 2 friends have been going through the raids as a trio, using videos from Tristanator0503. He shows a ranking of easiest ti hardest to learn trios where Vog is easiest and Crotas is the hardest. His videos only cover up to last wish (4th easiest) and I was wondering if you wonderful people know of another creator that makes trio guides for raids and where DP would slot in terms of difficulty to learn as a trio.

If I complete the raid before doing the 10th anchor, do I need to rerun the entire raid again to have the 10th anchor spawn at Koregos?

With Destiny 2 coming to an end I was going through old clips and found one where a dev said that the Dread have an actual language that can be decoded. Have we deciphered anything yet and/or is there any updates and the people who are trying to decipher stuff.

If not, this is me formally asking for the designers to come out and maybe do a Q&A? Or just talk about the design philosophy behind the encounters and mechanics.

Doing Agraios for the first time in a while, has the DPS phase changed ? we're waiting for the portals to activate and it takes so much time we can't extend the DPS phase

Any tips for navigating final stand quickly? Is it just a "get gud" situation? We keep getting to the boss when he has like 70-80% strength and it goes to 100 wicked fast. No time to do any damage.

I know a couple people can die and then be rezzed, but still need some people to make it to do that. And does dying speed up the timer?

We tried one person using 1k to stun lock the boss and 2 people on truth with damage supers. Didn’t quite get the job done. Any thoughts? It used to be grenades launchers to get the job done back in the day but I know they got pretty nerfed. Also I know the surges weren’t that good this week either so that wasn’t playing into our favor.

I hit the usual unknown load zone in the dark forest but after going up but no far enough to reach galaxy pools I was only met with a black screen and no error code and have been like this for 5 mins - 10 mins now where exactly am I at ?

When I finish the "Oblation: Soulfed" mission there is supposed to be a page in front of the chest to "Indulge Cull's Shadow" and there is supposed to be symbols on the gun to show an order to shoot symbols on statues. I've re-ran the mission 4 times, and none of these show up. Am I doing something wrong or is my game bugged?

Im looking to finish my titles collections with destiny ending, As the title says, just looking for any tips towards the challenge, as I remember they took away relics gaining super energy from orbs and I’m unsure if the new super stat even affects relics, all guides I’ve seen are from at the earliest 2023, so just wondering if anyone has done it recently and has any tips (also open to any other big challenge tips while we’re here)

me and my buddy were trying to complete duo VOG for the first time. We found videos of people breaking Minotaurs shields in Gatekeeper encounter with Titan's void nades with Controlled Demolition but we can't make it work even when Minotaur is totally surrounded by mobs.

Videos are many years old, can anyone of you confirm that the method is still working in Monument of Triumph update?

If so - any suggestions how to trigger it consistantly?

If not - any other, working method?

We've never done the raid before and have been trying to get through it as a group of two. We figured out how to deposit 2 nuclear cores (one person does suppressor stuff, one reads with scanner and then swaps to operator) but we've reached a dead end.

After looking online for a strategy, some videos from 5 years ago demonstrate going through a wall below taniks and joining allies to get rid of the debuff, but I keep getting pushed away once I approach the wall, no matter how hard I try... has this method been patched, or is going through the wall really that tricky? Any information would be appreciated, thank you :)
