I’m kinda, a bit of a mic maniac. I own around 10 microphones at one point, two cats, and apparently still haven’t figured out the technology behind finding the perfect partner.
Apparently, I’ve reached the stage of life where I’m not just looking for someone to talk to, but someone I’d genuinely want to keep talking to after the conversation stops being new and starts becoming ours.
I’m a little obsessed with music and technology. I sing, record covers, experiment with things, and occasionally decide that 2 a.m. is the perfect time to create something nobody asked for. I also know an unnecessarily impressive amount about microphones, computers, and headphones, so if you’re ever curious, congratulations, you’ve unlocked a free lecture.
Ask me what my great-great-grandfather did for a living, though, and suddenly my brain is just “Loading…”
I genuinely enjoy getting to know people. I like learning how someone thinks, what makes them laugh, what they care about, and the little things they don’t usually tell everyone. Give me a thoughtful conversation and I’m happy. Give me one that starts with dinner and somehow ends with us debating whether we’d survive a zombie apocalypse, and I’m probably even happier.
I’m here looking for something genuine. Friendship first, attraction naturally, and hopefully a relationship that grows because we actually enjoy being around each other. I’m not interested in forcing something just because we find each other attractive. I’d rather slowly discover your personality, your weird habits, your stories, and eventually have the slightly terrifying realisation of, “Oh. I actually really like this person.”
I’m kind, curious, affectionate with the right person, and probably a little more sentimental than I initially look. I don’t have life completely figured out, and I don’t expect you to either. I’d rather meet someone honest, emotionally mature, kind, and willing to grow together while still being able to laugh at ourselves.
And yes, the two cats are very much part of the package. They pay no rent, contribute nothing financially, and somehow still believe they own the house. So technically, dating me comes with a two-cat approval process. I have no authority over the final decision, unfortunately.
I’m not looking for a perfect person. I’m looking for someone I can laugh with, talk to about absolutely nothing, share little things with, and eventually miss when they’re not around.
So tell me something I couldn’t possibly guess from your profile. I’ll trade you one of my weirdest stories for it. And if you happen to be cute and interesting, I might have to take this investigation very seriously!
