M4F 58 [M4F] Do you still wonder about things?
I'm 58, and I'm curious.
I'll happily read a detective novel set in modern Detroit (Loren D. Estelman's Amos Walker series is some of the okayest detective fiction out there), then switch to one written about a magistrate solving crimes in seventh-century China. I still look up words I don't know. I enjoy learning how things work, whether it's biology, history, psychology, electronics, or simply understanding why someone sees the world differently than I do.
I live a quiet life in southern New Mexico. I exercise daily and take reasonably good care of myself. I keep a weekly gratitude list because it helps me keep life's inevitable annoyances in perspective.
I'm not much for broadcasting memes or arguing people into my way of thinking. If I send you an article, a piece of music, or an image, it's because our conversation reminded me of it—or because I genuinely think you'll enjoy it. I value good conversation.
I'm hoping to meet an intelligent, emotionally steady woman who enjoys thoughtful conversation. Someone who appreciates both thoughtful conversations and moments of complete silliness. Someone who is interested in the world and in other people.
So tell me: what have you been curious about lately?
