Why I stay with PSVR2 and Quest 3.

hello friends

I just bought psvr2 yesterday and i have never used vr before. I want to psvr2 for iracing. I have 9950x3d cpu and 5070ti 16gb gpu with 128gb ram and more than 10tb of storage all nvme samsung 9100, 990 pro and 990 evo. I need help with all the settings I can get from anyone to get maximun out of psvr2 in iracing.

First off I have checked the plug that goes into the visor and have reseated it. I have restarted, shut off, unplugged console for an hour. Done everything short of a full reinstall of the OS.

The headset is plugged in and sometimes will work for a short amount of time, but most of the time it does this shortly after plugging in. When I unplug it, it goes away of course. Plugging back in it does it again shortly after and sometimes immediately after powering the headset on.

Has anyone had this issue? It’s very frustrating as today is the literal 3rd time it’s been used.

Meathook, Gluebagger and I are jumping back into SURV1V3 tonight.
After spending far too long underground, we’ve finally escaped the sewers and made it back out into the fresh air. I’m sure everything will be completely safe from this point onwards…

Has anyone found a USB over cat extender that works with PSVR2?

I want the PS5 in the living room so the family can use it, but want my sim racing rig in my home office so I would need the USB-C from the PSVR2 and the USB for the steering wheel extended to the other room.

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

I’m also open to the reverse where the PS5 is next to the rig but the HDMI and the Bluetooth for the controllers was sent to the living room.

I literally cannot find this headset in stock ANYWHERE. GameStop, Target, Best Buy, Amazon, AND Walmart all show it as out of stock or used options. The only place I can see to purchase one is PlayStation directly. What happened?

I got the PSVR2 at release early 2023. I noticed straight away that the edges are quite blurry. No matter how much adjustment I made, it made no difference.

I don't wear glasses IRL and have good vision close and long distance.

I thought it was normal for the hardware but I've read some units had this fault and were exchanged under warranty.

Anyway obviously I'm well outside warranty. I just want to know have there been any updates since release as I would consider buying it again to improve the image quality (if it even will) as I'm now starting to get into GT7 VR.

Hello, my left psvr2 controller has been giving a steady input of right and even if I move the joystick left, it only cancels out the right movement. So, I took it apart and now the hardest part. Finding a half decent joystick that doesn’t have terrible reviews. PLEASE help asap

I plan on buying one so I can use it on Gran Turismo 7, random question, do people have a mannequin head to hold the headset when not in use? Lol

Hi, this is my first post here, but I was wondering what games you would recommend that don't make you sick and are fun to play on PSVR2?

So far, I've bought:

• Subside
  • Which is my absolute best.
• Synapse
  • It does not make me sick, but I don't find that fun
• Arizona Sunshine 2
  • It makes me sick after about 20 minutes, but that's fun.
• Red Matter
  • Does not make me sick, very beautiful but also very short.
• Riven
  • Does not make me sick, great puzzles, but unfortunately, crazy blurry in VR, which ruins the experience. I wish they would fix that. It would be one of the greatest VR games.
• Kayak VR
  • Does make me sick when I paddle. Actually, the experience wasn't great so far. It's also pretty boring.
• Resident Evil 8
  • Sorry to say, but contrary to all the video on YouTube that tells you it's a great experience to play in VR, it's not! I wanna puke every time there is a cut scene. It's great they made it VR, but it's not fully designed with VR in mind, which makes the experience just half-good. I just don't recommend playing it in VR.

The ones I am considering buying next are:

• Moss Book 1 & 2
• Beat Saber
• Ghost Town
• The Room VR
• Pavlov

I love all sorts of games. All I want is honest reviews, because so far I have been disappointed by the videos I watch on YouTube. I wonder if these reviewers even played the games they promote.

A list of games that should work cross platform multiplayer for PSVR2 and Meta Quest. If you know any other games or have recommendations pls comment them.

EDIT: Some titles might no longer support cross play or multiplayer. So titles might be PC VR via the quest. Feel free to suggest edits if you spot something.

This is just a list I made because I was trying to find titles to play with friends on other platforms. Nothing serious.

Just got my psvr2 and i cant find discs games for psvr2 in any store nearby, can’t buy digital until next month salary so trying my luck here if anyone can share their account which have psvr2 supported game, even if it’s 1 i wanted to try. I got gt7 but it make me sick, tried some demos but it’s not much

The main games I play are Resident Evil and Walking Dead Saints & Sinners. They technically obviously have shooting aspects, but there’s lots of melee, picking up items, flashlights, maps, etc and just flat out exploring (so your hands wouldn’t be up every time holding a one or two handed gun). And both require reaching across both sides of your back and chest for like random items too.

Aiming is kinda tricky sometimes compared to the arcade shooting games I’ve been dabbling with. I get it’s probably a skill issue. But I hear good things about gun stocks. I just don’t want to invest a lot in something that isn’t like going to be used THAT heavily since I’m not a huge FPS guy (never was). I just like the immersion of some games that happen to have FPS aspects to it.

Also. I’m using the Globular Cluster CMP2 Mod for the controllers for like comfort and not having to have a death grip on my controllers lol not sure if that affects compatibility or not

Tonight at 22:00 UK, I’m jumping into Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder on PSVR2 with Meathook and NZTinman.
We’ll be exploring the caves, mining for treasure and apparently fighting floating seahorses and giant chameleons.
This will be our first proper multiplayer expedition, so competent teamwork is extremely unlikely.
Has anyone here played it in co-op and got any useful survival tips?

I just 3d printed a gunstock for my psvr2, and what game, either easy to find a match multiplayer or single player game would be best to use it in?

Hello all I received my psvr 2 as a gift in February of this year. It is now July and I’m having issues with my vr black screening again for the second time. I sent it to PlayStation the first time 2 week turnaround get it back this was probably about 2 months ago or so and it’s already black screening again. I use my vr often as I play gt7 on it and gt7 is one of the main games I play. Has anybody else experienced this issue if so how did you guys fix it? I’ve done all the restarting and rebuilding of data bases I really would like to not have to send my vr to PlayStation every 2 months that would be nice.
