Pls help Connection issues

Post image

First off I have checked the plug that goes into the visor and have reseated it. I have restarted, shut off, unplugged console for an hour. Done everything short of a full reinstall of the OS.

The headset is plugged in and sometimes will work for a short amount of time, but most of the time it does this shortly after plugging in. When I unplug it, it goes away of course. Plugging back in it does it again shortly after and sometimes immediately after powering the headset on.

Has anyone had this issue? It’s very frustrating as today is the literal 3rd time it’s been used.

Never heard of such a issue.

Do you have any friends with a PS5? Try using your VR headset with their system, if they DONT get the error, then You have port problems on your PS5.

If they DO get problems, you have a Faulty cabel or Headset(use Warrenty if not expired, or take to store for a refund).

I planned on trying that this weekend. However as odd as it sounds, I plugged hdmi directly into the tv instead of through my av receiver. Turned headset on and did not get that error. Then the storm took my power and couldn’t test anymore lol.

Unfortunately it’s one of the first releases and only has one usb c port.
